• Analyze the existing designs, layouts and other relevant visual materials that the PCU has been using for their online communication; 
• Identify and propose to the PCU the unified style of the design approach according to the monthly content plan of social media pages; 
• Upon agreement on the unified style of the design approach, develop sample designs and layouts for #worksafely to present visual content (incl. illustrations, graphic materials, infographics) that will become a part of the social media pages; 
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative materials and texts, select style and type; 
• Implement any edits needed upon review of the proposed sample designs and layouts by the PCU; 
• Provide any needed instructions on how to effectively use the developed sample designs and layouts to ensure effective communication online; 
• Prepare the layout and design of the digital content to make it suitable for using in digital and printed forms; 
• Keep focus not only on raising awareness about combating trafficking in human beings but also on stimulating engagement of people into communication; 
• Include gender perspective when implementing the tasks and ensure all deliverables to be gender-sensitive; 
• Work cooperatively with team members, the MSP and the PCU to fulfil the set tasks. 

Deliverables: 

• Analysis of the existing designs and sample layouts are prepared 
• Unified style of the designed materials is identified and proposed 
• Sample designs and visual animations (up to 1 min) are developed presented at social media pages #worksafely, any needed edits are included on social media pages

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Intended impactful effect of social media communication is to raise awareness among youth and unemployed persons, who are more likely to agree on risky job offers during the height of the pandemic. The target audience get more information about safe employment and resources how to identify themselves or relatives in the situations of potential exploitation. 
During the project period 632 persons wrote personally to the pages and due to the specialists’ assistance got necessary information and avoided not verified offers. The PCU continued raising awareness among general public, with specific focus on youth and unemployed population by means of online #worksafely campaign launched in 2021. 
As a result, #worksafely provided consultations to over 1,000 people, who received advice from #worksafely experts about different aspects of assistance from non-governmental and governmental organizations for victims of trafficking. The PCU continued to conduct online social media campaign to detect signs of the risky schemes of labour exploitation and online recruiting through following activities (Annex 3):

• 32 posts in Instagram and 64 posts in Facebook about elements of trafficking, possible assistance to victims of trafficking, types of exploitation, ways of verifying employers, staying safe abroad and COVID-19 influence on combating trafficking on human beings; 
• 96 unique visuals for each post at Instagram and Facebook; 
• two contests "I am against human trafficking" (overall 560 followers took part); 
• ten live broadcasts with experts to promote project’s activities and to raise awareness about CTHB;
• 178 stories announcing ongoing activities, contests, and engaging in different types of questionnaires. 

These activities also include gender sensitive issues in assisting victims of trafficking, and specify special gender needs in the process of conducting interviews. Overall the ratio of female and male audience on the social media pages made up 69% - women and 31%. 
Additionally to the online information campaign, the PCU engaged a videographer from Aztec Aniation Studio to produce social videos and animations to strengthen the message of avoiding risky job offers during the pandemic. Within project period one video interview was shot.

The Aztec Animation team developed an animated video for the Ukrainian Open University of Postgraduate Education. The primary goal was to introduce a new institute application designed to help individuals from various professions—such as teachers, gardeners, builders, doctors, etc.—improve their professional skills through education. Aztec Animation created the script, selected a color palette aligned with the institute's Brandbook, and produced a storyboard with illustrations and animations. 
During the process, designers crafted characters representing real professions using the future application for learning. The video also showcased the application interface to enhance understanding of its functionality. The result: the video is actively used for university advertising and service promotion. It is featured on the university's website and its social media channels.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At the university, the number of participants and teachers has increased. Currently, there are about 50 short-term special courses running. During quarantine restrictions and martial law, over 12,000 participants completed qualification enhancement through these programs. In the conditions of martial law, the Ukrainian Open University of Postgraduate Education has been activated as a digital ecosystem and digital twin of the Central Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Higher Education Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 
To ensure the transformation of professional development for educators during the war, the initiative 'Victorious Horizons of Education' was launched. Unyielding to war, educators were offered relevant webinar topics to facilitate quick adaptation to working in conditions of danger and uncertainty. The 'Victorious Horizons of Education' initiative lasted for four months, from early March to the end of June 2022, with 5,433 educators from all regions of Ukraine participating.

Each stage of developing the animated video was delivered on schedule. The development process included several stages: 

• scriptwriting 
• illustration creation 
• preparing illustrations for animation 
• animation. 

At each stage, there were three rounds of revisions, completed promptly with consideration of all feedback. Communication with the project manager was consistently clear. Throughout the process, we received numerous suggestions for improving the video design, all of which were taken into account. The animation had to be completed by September 2019. The Aztec Animation team provided the final file well within the set deadline, allowing for a timely presentation at the university.

The team consistently met deadlines, provided many recommendations to enhance the video, established a clear schedule, and detailed each stage of the work. Their team's cohesion was impressive. Each member is responsible for a specific stage, resulting in a high-quality final product.

We are very satisfied and always open to improvements as suggested by the team. We plan to continue working with Aztec Animation Studio in the future.
