We provided our idea and vision, and Axicube organized the series of workshops and UX research activities. During the Discovery stage, they helped us plan MVP and align the project vision. Our next move was to tailor agile workflow and organize design delivery and development. 

Thanks to the design quality, well-organized design system, and detailed mockups we have developed the first version in 3 months. For now, we have worked with new features and sections for around 1 year and plan to continue our cooperation.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results are scalable and modern CRM solutions, based on the conducted research results and our requirements. We finalized MVP in 3 months, and since that time actively used our system for the operational process. We are impressed by the results and plan to extend our collaboration for the new phases.

The company is small & young but provides services like a top-notch agency. They help with analytics of business processes and research. They are not a regular UI/UX team. Axicube understands business and technical needs and takes care of both sides of the coin.

What challenge were you trying to address with Axicube?

We needed branding for our company, as well as a marketing website. Basically, we needed an online presence.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Axicube helped us create our company’s brand guidelines, including colors and fonts. Additionally, they built a marketing website for us to reach more users in our area. Their scope included creating the UI/UX designs for the site in Figma.

This was a collaborative effort. Initially, we told Axicube what we were trying to achieve and provided them with some examples of websites we liked. Then, they made suggestions on how our website should look and provided us with three different options. We then picked one of those options, which they used to create the site.

We worked with Valentyn (Co-Founder & CEO), Vitalina (UI/UX Designer), and Eugene (Co-Founder & Lead Designer).

How did you come to work with Axicube?

I had worked with them before, and I was very happy with their work, so I brought them in again. Initially, I met Axicube through an RFP process for another project. We posted a job offer for a design project, we got a lot of applications, and we ultimately chose them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The success of our engagement was having a site good enough to start our company’s online presence. We conducted internal reviews and got very positive feedback on our new site.

How did Axicube perform from a project management standpoint?

Axicube had a great project management structure, and they frequently communicated with us, which was very good. We collaborated with them over ActiveCollab and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Axicube was very reliable, and they delivered quality work fast; that was why I chose them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, although improvements could depend on the project because Axicube deals with very creative work.

I am a project coordinator for a Swiss nonprofit based in Geneva, Switzerland. We were building an app to raise mine risk awareness for civilians in Ukraine. The app allowed to view a map with dangerous territories and mined zones. This was a project involving many different stakeholders.

Our team was not sure about our UI/UX for the app we were building. We were referred to Axicube by our partner. The project was close to the final release and we were limited by timelines, development team availability, etc. Thus, any changes to UI/UX could stall all the work and delay our release. Most of the Dev team did not want to change anything.

How did you select this vendor?

Axicube made a comprehensive UI/UX review for our mobile app for iOS and Android. At the time, it was a small and very agile team. We were lucky to encounter such a fantastic team of professionals who made a huge difference to our app.

I have led several UI/UX projects before but this one was different thanks to Axucube. It was like a breath of fresh air. After the review, they came up with potential bottlenecks. They suggested what we had to fix to improve the user experience and the overall feel and look of the app. The results were great thanks to the proactive and professional work of this company. The team grasped the essence and key functionality of the app. Besides recommendations, Axicube went several steps further. They really helped us to improve the user experience with 3 different scenarios in Figma. We agreed on one and kept other great ideas for our next releases. During two sessions we had a complete idea of how our app will look like and we absolutely loved it. Working with Axicube helped to save a lot of time on many meetings and re-iterations. We agreed on stylistics, fonts, assets, and visual cues and they delivered it. Axicube is the Agile approach at its best. They deliver value – it is a great and fantastic experience and result, which I want to repeat again.

We had 2 resources working with us: - Project lead / chief design officer :) - UI/UX designer Both were fantastic and very experienced. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them. The feel of style and beauty is amazing. They listen to the customer and deliver value. I absolutely loved it. Axicube knew that we were stretched with our budgets for development. In order to help the cause, Axicube team worked as volunteers for our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched the app and it reached over 40k downloads in 5 days. Users gave us positive reviews over 4.3 for Google Play and  over 4.7 for App Store. With the work of Axicube, we had a clear roadmap on how to improve our app for the next 2-3 releases. We were limited with development team availability and they listened to us and gave us those golden 20/80, which was awesome.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication was easy and quick. Despite work on other projects, we had a very quick responses all the time. Our Dev team preferred Slack for workflows and Axicube had no problem with it at all. Most of the work was in FIgma and it was a big plus for the team. No unnecessary call, VC, emails or time spent in vain. Everything was clear and efficient. All assets and change log were in one place - indeed very convenient and efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The great team! They are a young and agile team of superb UI/UX designers. Axicube simply over-delivered. Their approach, communication, tools, and results were above our expectations. They are simply a great team, whom you can encounter not very often. I am very grateful to Grape.ua agency, which referred me to Axicube professional team. They really helped to take our humanitarian project to the next level.

They know what they are good at and this is their key asset. No other comments in this regard. This is a great and agile team. I really appreciate their contribution to MineFree.info project.

I am the VP R&D of InsFocus Systems LTD, a major player in the Insurance BI ecosystem. Our main BI application is already implemented in more than 80% of the local market and has been under development in the latest form since 2009. Along with the BI, we develop a few other supporting applications all focused on business needs of insruance companies.

Our main application - InsFocus BI has been around for almost 10 years now. In the last couple of years, we've added a few more applications to our toolset. In regards to UI/UX we had a major challenge of taking our current design, adopt it to the new and modern application sphere, while keeping the design fit with our other applications and create a unified design system for all.

Our major challenge with regards to that, was to keep our clients feel at home and not break their day to day work with our tools.

I searched online for quite some time looking for a vendor with great experience in the kind of things we need to work on (financial applications). I was specifically looking for someone with experience in applications and one that could feel part of our team.

The project was built from a few major steps: Research - gathering all of our requirements, our current status, learning what we have and what is missing. Concept - Build a concept that would answer everything we were looking for. Style guide - unified design system for all applications. Atomic design - build each and every component UI/UX. Review outputs, and Main screens - design main screens and complicated scenarios.

We're very happy with the results. We already started building the foundations for the revamped applications and receive very nice reactions from our customers. We build our next generation of products on this design.

Valentyn and his team are super hands-on. Everything was fluent from day 1 and we started seeing results faster than we believed. Most of their initial concepts and designs were accepted without any feedback.

The outcome was one of the most modern and versatile eLearning course UI/UX, one that is minimalistic, intuitive, caters for all user groups, and has a cutting edge feel to it. Axicube generated the full set mockups to define the full learner experience.

We started by analyzing our business process and preparing the architecture. Basically, we have 2 products: MIGIS University as a core, and Gestalt Center as a side one. Our goal was to align everything together and create an ecosystem of the product for different audiences. 
Also, we try to create a simple builder for the promotion of our learning programs, as independent Landings. After that, they started to work on creating different visuals and UX copy for both of the products. We have worked closely on each step and validated decisions with our students and trainers. At the end of the process Axicube have prepared design and support them during the development, helped us with UX audit and business analytic tasks.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The result is working and launched web site for MIGIS University with custom illustrations, Gestal Center products with a personal account for each student or therapist. We are happy to start advertising our new product and introduce the Gestalt center to the end users. I was impressed by their deep understanding of the development process and how they covered not only the design tasks.
