Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

I used Aviato as our developers of the Biya App. The core idea was to develop a cross platform app running on web in a browser and an app which can run on both android and ios. That was to be supported by backend using APIs.The backend component pulled data from multiple places and used ML/AI to make sense of it all before pushing to frontend in consumable format.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They used JIRA to track progress which was surprising for me as I was not expecting this from such a small startup.They were very proactive with demos and setting meetings with us. During busy weeks when my team was not able to attend meetings, they used to send recorded Loom videos which we could watch and provide feedback in offline way. They were top notch with communicaiton.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They made sure their weekly tasks and final project were delivered on time. Only delay was the review period with Google when they had to get the appropriate licenses and agreements in place before getting the final Play store approval. It was partly our fault as we had not prepared the privacy and app t&c on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Eagerness to adapt. I have worked with many agencies. While every other agency claim to be Agile, they will put in an invoice for every change request - howsoever small the changes are. Aviato Consulting was a delight to work with as they have this unique model of pricing . They seemed very eager to understand out true business requirements and were able to quickly work on the changed requirements.

I was never presented any extra invoice and all our app feedbacks were incorporated in the final deliverable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Aviato Consulting could have done differently?

I cannot think of any. I wish them luck and hope they stay the same with their focus on customer needs as they grow bigger.

Weekly update reports to track progress to date and set objectives for the upcoming week. They were fast and flexible.

Ben and the team used their combined experience to help us navigate the unfamiliar waters of app development. They explained things in an easy-to-understand manner, were honest when timeframes overran or problems arose and had solutions for each and every one of these. They were exceptional from day one.

Their ability to guide us through the process from start to finish without overcomplicating it to someone who isn't technical. They made sure all my decisions were made with the most information possible and were creative in helping overcome some of these issues as well.

Specific features of the application include: Calendar, Appointment Scheduling, Messaging, Document Control, Internal Announcement Feed, Submission Portal and a corresponding Web Application for administration staff.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The unique approach taken by Aviato Consulting in developing our app was positively received throughout the entire process. Call A Buddy was kept in regular, constant communication with Aviato Consulting inclusive of weekly team meetings to discuss progress, demonstrate changes and implementnew features. We are always kept in the loop and provided with regular updates, receiving very timely responses from Aviato whenever needed.

Our project manager, Ben, has been fantastic. Ben assisted and faciliated all team discussions and meetings, and provided regular updates with quick responses. We felt very looked after and kept in the loop throughout the entire process. Ben's expertise and advise has been extremely helpful in developing an application well suited to our organisational needs and goals.
