We were not satisfied with the customer journey, overall design so we contacted Autentika to make a total new makeover for the whole platform.

How did you select this vendor?

I was actually contacted by Autentika while i was scanning around for a UI/UX design firm to help us out, i have tried some companys in Sweden but i was not satisfied with the work so i wanted something new.

We gave Autentikas team some directions when we had the workshops and i wanted them to be as creative as possible so they had very free space to come up with ideas. It was a big project with alot of changes and add ons as well.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had one project manager, one UI designer and one UX designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very happy with the deliveries of the sketches for the new platform. Autentika had a very good understanding of the challenges we had with the previous design and they were very proactive and made suggestions for improvement on all the pages we redesigned.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very effective, we had a good straight forward dialogue and it was very easy to work with our designers for this project, thet replied very fast so he project could process forward without loosing time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their creative skills, how fast they understood our business model so they could come up with best possible solutions for the design.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am CEO at FuelCorp, a startup company set up to build, manage and develop turboRebels.com - a unique social networking platform dedicated for motorsport enthusiasts.

For what projects/services did your company hire Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development, and what were your goals?

Our startup hired Autentika to build a social networking app dedicted to motorsport enthusiasts in Poland. It was a huge challange, as there were 3 very amibtious goals: First, to build visiually appealing software that can meet the expectations of users accustomed to the very high level UI/UX offered by Meta, Google or Pinterest.

Second, to deliver unique functionality invented as USP for this niche project, which was: interactive system for collection/presentation/analitics of racing and rally drivers carrier achivements.

Third, to deliver very complicated software consisting of 15 various modules in 12 months period (modules: image sharing module, video sharing module, blogging platform module, events module, motorport stats module, user profile module, classifieds module, , user ranks module, user profiles module, company profiles module, wall module, news agregator module, user article publishing module, messaging module)

How did you select Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development, and what were the deciding factors?

I knew from the begining, that this project is going to be huge and difficult (fiinally 110 uniqe designed sub-pages). On one hand side, we knew there there were not many companies is Poland cappable of delivering such software.

On the other ,we knew that only doing this project made by a team from Poland can keep costs at accptable level. We discussed with many companies having expierience with building social media platforms, and out them, after long selection process, we decided to with Autentika.

Deciding factors were: - expierience in building simmilar software,min 10 years existence on the market, size (I wanted to cooperate with boutique software house, not 500ppl company ) and individual approach (Autentika CEO was personally involved in the project since Day#1)

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

What amazed me most, was that during first many meeting there was no discussions about technology. We talked only about people and their needs. "Human first" approach. Than after Autentika understood fully our idea and goals (even better we understood it).

We started workshops on what is possible, what can be done effectively and what might cause problems and rise costs of develoment. After workshops and deep analisys, a huge 120 pages "Requirements specyfication" document was delivered to us, which described every piece of our future software.

How will each module work, how will it ineract with other modules, how will it look, what technology will be used, etc. This was really impressive. After this step we started to work on each module, what was also very satisfing - from brainstoroming through UI/UX mockups, graphic design process, finishing on ready product.

How many people from the Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development team worked with you, and what were their positions?

10 people were involved in the project - 4 programmers, graphic designer, chief od development, UI specialist, PM and Michał Samojlik, CEO of Autentika. I worked personally with 4 of them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

From the production side project fulfilled out needs in 100%. They delivered results that exceeded our expectations.

We had daily communication with PM, throughout their project managament software (now they move to Jira afaik).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As I wrote above - "human first" approach, not very common for tech companies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes they should be more assertive in responding to my "everyday new ideas" :)

I am a Director od IT Project Management Department, I supervising the implementation of this project which is currently being carried out by two PMs.

We engaged Autentika to create and maintain the Design System, which is already used by other projects. We also sometimes need more developers, some of them are a permanent part of the development team, some we employ ad hoc as needed

Before starting the cooperation with Autentika, we didn't have an audit of the processes related to our new tool. We did not fully realize what we are facing or how extensive the connections between the systems are. When we started the project, we didn't have a complete project team. The main challenge was to create a vision of a comprehensive product that could be personalized for various types of users. We have a goal of creating a reusable repository of components, which we didn't achieve before.

My team worked directly with 3 UX/UI and 3 developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have a system that users want to use, we also have a design system that other teams are asking for and start using it easily

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The greatest value for me is the comprehensive approach of Autentika, we talk about the needs and get ready solutions to discuss. We can choose the most optimal option and quick start development. Now we have a well-organized process, we know how we work, we are able to join other teams to our process easily.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They show a real, human approach, emphatically thinking about the end user and building scalable solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't have such expectations, I like working with them and it's hard to imagine a better cooperation

We're start-up in Martech segment, based in Warsaw, Poland.

We came up with a completely new product idea - martech software in a SaaS model. We had a general idea of the basic functions, but we were looking for a partner to help us go from idea to mockups, designs and a finished product.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The result of the project was fully delivered, according to all the agreements. The project stretched a bit in time. But this was not Autentika's fault, rather our hesitation about specific solutions, team work on it.

Autentika works in a very well organized way. The cooperation was based on regular meetings, online availability of all team members. We felt that the whole process was managed well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We got valuable solution advice from Autentika on many levels: technical, functional, UX.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It's hard to point.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the lead for product strategy for a software company in Norway. We make software for oil and gas companies.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development?

As a small company, our challenge is keeping up with the latest technology. We can’t afford to rewrite our whole product every year, so we had to create a new product to leverage our old technology and modernize our previous investments.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We developed a new product with Autentika. They used Sigma for the UX/UI design, and the technology was developed using React.

What is the team composition?

We interacted directly with some designers, and our developers worked with some project managers.

How did you come to work with Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development?

We went through a formal selection process. We spoke to a dozen different members and had fixed criteria for what we were looking for. For instance, we needed direct communication skills — since we didn’t have design and UX expertise, it would’ve been dangerous to hire somebody who only agreed with us. Therefore, we needed someone who could tell us where we were wrong and would push back.

We did several interviews and met the key personnel. In the end, it came down to two vendors. We were very impressed, and they ticked all the boxes. Autentika was selected because they had the depth to be with us in the long term and not only for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

It lasted seven months, from March–October 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For the commercial side and scope, they were very formal and orderly. Also, the designers were really creative and excellent at imagining things from the user’s perspective.

How did Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via email, phone, and Slack. Since it was a design-only project, Notion and Sigma were enough as project management tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

This job requires a lot of empathy, so it takes a special person to do the work. They were a service-minded company with excellent communication skills and a focus on the quality of their output.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they could scale; they’re a relatively small company. However, I’ve worked with more prominent vendors, and they can quickly become less flexible and project-focused.  If Autentika were bigger, they’d be a different company, so I’m not sure I’d wish they grow.

We're a software development agency with a focus on frontend. We provide full product development services but don't have a designer in house. I'm a Business Developer, engaged in Sales and Vendors Management.

For what projects/services did your company hire Autentika, UX UI Design & Custom Development?

We've contacted Autentika as one of our potential clients wanted to rebuild his ecommerce website. We have signed a contract for web development project and needed assistance with UI/UX design part of the project.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We have contacted 3 design agencies and introduced them to our clients. After initial review and interview with the client, we have shortlisted 2 agencies which provided a quote for the UI/UI design part of the project.

Their team divided the project into 2 phases. The first phase was idea Stage where Autentika's team conducted project materials review, analysed the user flows and buying process on the existing website. Then they completed analysis of existing website statistics. We proceed with a workshop with the client to research new user flows as well as build a mood board of rebuild website.

Autentika also completed competitors analysis and came up with a proposition on the scope of work for the next design stage. The second phase of the project included working on the 5 - 7 unique views to UX design for desktop and mobile as well as 10 - 12 unique views to UI design for desktop and mobile.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The client has been worked with 2 designers as well as with a Project Manager from Autentika.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're pleased with the deliverables from their team as they demonstrated deep knowledge of ecommerce design trends as well as advised the client on the best solution to approach some user flows. The client has been satisfied with the final Figma file he received and noted high professionalism as well as great communication skills of the whole team. From a development perspective, the design has been prepared appropriately and is easy to implement for our development team.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team and the client had regular meetings to update on the project progress and share the results of what has been done so far. All team members are easy to communicate and always eager to explain if something is not clear.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their UI/UX design skills blew us and the client away. As the client is a design professional himself, it was important for him to pay attention to details and create design that will aligns with his company's vision. Autentika exhibited a deep understanding of client's business needs and made comprehensive research about his niche.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing to change, everything went great.
