AtlantBH is involved in the implementation of some of the core components of our software. This includes implementing business logic within encapsulated microservices and providing the web interface to interact with them.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The software implemented by AtlantBH is used daily by many students and driving instructors, and it is an essential part of our software landscape. As a result, the old implementation has been replaced (which was also not an easy task), overcoming the limitations and deficiencies of the previous system. This allows us to iterate and continually improve the software to better align with the existing business processes. The previous software had reached its limitations in that regard.

AtlantBH provided us with an excellent and communicative product manager who took on almost the entire project management responsibility. To discuss the business aspects, software developers were also involved to ensure clear communication and avoid any misinterpretations. The communication with both the project management and the developers is highly effective. 

Requirements are captured and prioritized in collaboration with us. The developers are quick to respond when there is an issue affecting operations that needs to be fixed promptly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As the Head of Software Development, it brings me joy to work with individuals who have a strong command of their craft. Collaborating with software developers who require constant explanations of common concepts can be exhausting. That is why I was delighted to be able to engage in technical discussions using industry-specific terminology.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Atlantbh could have done differently?

Naturally, not everything went exactly as I initially envisioned, and that's to be expected. We are all different and have our own ideas of what constitutes perfect collaboration. That's why I'm glad to have a partner with whom we can openly discuss issues and work together to resolve them and optimize processes. We have made several adjustments along the way without compromising our mutual respect. It's been a great experience!

AtlantBH supported us with 2 full product development teams. They were fully integrated in our value chain, meaning they were directly engaged with our clients on defining the best solutions and priorizations in a co-creative setup while making sure that the product nicely integrates with our other components.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We successfully delivered the software components to our clients and in the end transferred product and technical knowhow to internal teams.

The teams adapted our communication channels and tools as well as documentation guideline in order to have a well integrated project and product experience.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The interactions were trustful and met the expectations we have when we speak of a partnership instead of an order. The POs were very engaged and committed to making the project a success. They were professional in there interactions with the clients and we managed to also steer through some challenging discussions regarding timeline and pressure.

Estably is a digital asset manager from the Principality of Liechtenstein with the clear goal of outperforming the market. We rely on the proven Value Investing strategy, according to which assets are invested in carefully selected stocks and bonds.

For what projects/services did your company hire Atlantbh, and what were your goals?

Support the construction and further development of an own WebApplication with a test environment. Help with the development of interfaces and connections to other systems.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

One of our developers already had contact points with an employee of Atlantbh through previous collaborations. Due to the positive feedback, an interview was conducted in which Atlantbh could convince through professional appearance and extensive knowledge.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The project is still ongoing, and the Atlantbh team is working on developing and maintaining the complete web application, including frontend and backend.

They use Angular, Express.js, and Node.js technologies, while they use AWS services for infrastructure maintenance and monitoring. In their work, they pay great attention to the security of the application and its data.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Team size varied from 3 to 7 people, including Software Engineers, Quality Assurance, DevOps, a UX/UI designer, and Product Owner/Delivery Manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our highest priority is the security of the application itself and completing tasks on time. Their workflow has been highly effective, and they've proven to be very customer-oriented. We can safely say that Atlantbh met all our expectations.

Atlantbh works using agile methodologies (depending on the team size - Scrum or Kanban). They use email and Slack for communication and Jira as a project management tool. We can point out that they have a dedicated team member for any communication and are always available for us.

Through sprint reviews and demos, they regularly show us the outcomes of their work and actively and promptly ask for our feedback. Their practice of constantly asking for our input from us is commendable and valuable in the application development process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We've had only very good experiences with Atlantbh. Software development in finance must be done at a high-end level. Besides quality, communication, trust, efficiency, and flexibility are extremely important for us and have been excellent so far. Atlantbh was the only one among the previous providers to deliver this total package and thus convinced us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not so far. Since Atlantbh values regular exchange with feedback, any improvements will be made immediately.
