I'm the founder and CTO of a UK Software company that specialises in Healthcare Technology

For what projects/services did your company hire Aspire Webs & Informatics, and what were your goals?

We had an existing SaaS product which wasn't realiable, scaleable and caused issues when remote sites lost internet. The system was a SPOF and was prone to human error with minimal backups or sandbox testing environements in place.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them via Upwork after speaking to many different developers. We found Aspire was just more understanding of what we wanted whereas everyone else just seemed to ask triple the questions to even understand what we were trying to achieve - Aspire 'just got it' and knew what we wanted in the first call.

Aspire helped completely redesign the solution from the ground up to utilise a hybrid sync between an onpremise appliance and the SaaS cloud on Google App Enginer (Serverless) meaning we had all the benefits of cloud withthe reliability of local infrastructure.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to re-launch our product and scale with growth very quickly. We are where we are because of Aspire.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They liked to use any IM facility we chose and use Trello to keep a track of tasks, features and bugs in a Kanban style. This really helped me as I'm a visual earner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dedication to service delivery. Like, seriously, if it was 2am, these guys kept working to resolve anything. They were top tier for service delivery.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would say improvement on documentation - initially its ok but then lots change and you take a while to get fresh documentation. This is the nature of the beast when it comes to reactive software development, but I know its something they have already identified and started improving which is great.

AllPencilsDown has been providing test prep education for high school students for over 15 years. AllPencilsDown preps students for the ACT and SAT tests for college admissions and scholarships. I am 50% owner.

Milind and his team at Aspire have been developing and revising and updating our website for well over 10 years. They have always been very responsive when there are problems, and it seems like they never sleep:). Since we are about 11 hours behind them I know it is a challenge but they have done a great job even over weekends. I can highly recommend Aspire for web development and managing business websites.

It has been a continuous development process - it was not a one time project.

I did a lot of the design on the first website and defined our needs and then we discussed it as it was developed. Then after that site went live we just used it but as new features were needed a couple of years ago Aspire did a complete redesign and programming without me needing to design anything.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our goal is that the site has to work great for moms signing up their kids for our classes and facilitate payments through PayPal.

Then we needed a bunch of tools in the back end for managing students and classes and all of those have been programmed by Aspire as needed.

They have a great management style and good tools for their project management. I am not good at following their tools and they understood this and adapted to my style:)

Milind is the only one I know and he is fantastic.

Create custom online store from scratch to allow customers to upload artwork and proof images online prior to printing. We are a full service print shop and needed an easier way for our clients to design and proof images and print jobs online.

I have a dedicated Project Manager that we work with on their team. We can communicate via Chat all day every day. Which is great. We communicate with them daily. Any time of the day.
