I’m the owner of Solberga Teknik AB. We’re an online store that sells electronic accessories, such as TV devices and satellites. We also sell mobility accessories like caravans.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ascendily LLC?

We needed help with digital marketing, especially with our SEO. We wanted to achieve better rankings on Google.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ascendily LLC provides us with digital marketing services. They’ve worked on improving our SEO by doing keyword research and building backlinks. Additionally, they’ve provided some guidance on our Google Ads; however, they don’t run the ads for us because we use another company for that. Their team has also done some Facebook Ads for us.

We work directly with Kevin (Founder). He’s our main point of contact and has his own team working under him.

We’ve spent around €10,000 (approximately $10,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Ascendily LLC in February 2022, and it’s still an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The articles that Ascendily LLC has written are generating really good traffic. Moreover, we’re getting about 126–150 clicks per day from our Google Ads; impressions have also gone up from 700–3,000. In terms of sales, we’re averaging about €4,000 (approximately $4,000 USD) a month and continues to grow consistently.

How did Ascendily LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management style is very good. They communicate clearly and provide me with daily updates via Slack. We also use Google Meet for virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their honesty — their team is never afraid to tell us if we’re doing something wrong.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything that Ascendily LLC could improve on. Whatever they’re doing clearly works for us.

I am one of the owners of an e-commerce company with global sales. I am responsible for sales and overall responsibility for the business.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ascendily LLC, and what were your goals?

We were relatively new when we started working together. The goal was overall SEO work to expose our website and our products to a larger group of potential customers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched around and had meetings with three different firms before choosing Kevin and his team. The reason was a personal commitment and great expertise.

We started by describing our business, which countries were our focus areas and which products were the best sellers. Then Ascendily started by going through our website to get an idea of what the initial situation was. Since then we have been working on optimizing existing content, internal linking and adding new content. In addition, new images have been added and existing images reduced in size to increase page speed. The ongoing work does not follow a specific template but ongoing work and choices about what to do next are made along the way.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

How many are involved I have no idea. Two or three, I would think. We only have contact with Kevin, who I would call the project manager if you're going to hand out titles.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since the work began, we have seen a steady improvement in traffic to our website. We had this before when we did the work ourselves. But it's clear that since we hired Ascendily, the quality has been much higher and there is clearly a lot of expertise. Because we did the work ourselves before, we also created a certain knowledge base that allows us to understand the value of the work being done now. As the quality of the SEO work being done is high, our website is perceived as more legitimate which I believe will increase our sales over time.

The project management is personal and committed. There is a lot of thought and an incredible drive to move forward. At the same time, there is a patience where you choose to do things properly instead of creating short-term success through shortcuts.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I've said it before but it's a personal commitment of Kevin. Kevin is the only person we have contact with so I can't comment on anyone else.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am very satisfied with the cooperation and there is nothing I can complain about. But just like us, it is a small company that depends on a few individuals. That can be a disadvantage because you are dependent on a few individuals. At the same time, it is perhaps their greatest strength, contributing to a personal commitment and great customer knowledge.
