What challenge were you trying to address with Artjoker?

We wanted Artjoker to create an in-house app, which will help sales agents manage work processes. These include controlling all the payments, choosing payment methods, providing analytical statistics, browsing the contact information of retail locations, etc.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Artjoker developed both the Android and iOS apps. They integrated payment methods in the apps and created an understandable design and structure. Due to a prior agreement, they presented us with a wireframe and we discussed how we could improve the implementation. We also described how we wanted the design. They made those changes and we reached an agreement according to which we were showed a design. We’ve added details and new sections. They also removed some useless features, optimizing and simplifying the app.  

How did you come to work with them?  

I found them on Google. I just browsed and clicked through their website. I liked the colors and design, plus everything was so clear. I saw that it would work well for our app.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Artjoker in February 2016. It is an ongoing project as we are constantly working together to improve the app.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?  

Since the app was launched, our KPI has increased by 30%, which is a perfect result. All the data is stored in one place, so it is easy to control all the sales managers and payments. The workers use the app every day, so the usability was checked by real users. There is nothing odd, all is clear and brief. 

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

I enjoyed their attitude toward their clients. All processes were professionally managed and controlled. Deadlines were usually met. Once, there was a 2-day delay because of the holidays, but I didn't mind it. The collaboration was on a high level. I maintained connection all the time and in all stages of development with a dedicated project manager. The team at Artjoker was very friendly and always ready to help.

As I am not really into web development, I can judge only by the design they've made—it is really attractive. Our clients have also said that our website is very easy to use. Since we launched our new website, the number of sales has gone up considerably. The person responsible for this project also said that our conversion rates are higher after the launch. I believe this is a perfect feedback both for our company and Artjoker.

Overall, they did a great job. As I already mentioned in the previous question, they met all the deadlines. The manager kept me in the loop and I always knew how far along the project was. They got back to me with answers to questions I had very quickly.

I was not closely involved in the project, so I was really surprised by the final result, which was great. A lot of our clients congratulated us on the website; they said it is very easy to use and understandable.

The company has acquired a wealth of up-to-date data from independent sources in order to calculate an evidence-based hospital quality score for procedures and treatments. As we are holding sensitive PHI [protected health information] data, we were implementing a HIPAA [Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act] compliance. Part of what we needed was some security and stress testing, which Artjoker provided.

Artjoker performed security and stress tests for our website which included: testing for information gathering, configuration, deployment management, identity management, authentication, authorization testing, session management testing, and more.

Sorry, we don’t have any statistics. That being said, as a result of their vulnerability tests, we improved our website’s security and fixed some bugs. This made our users less frustrated because the website was more stable.

The first step was to gather information relevant to our tests. After clearing that up, things got much better and faster. The tests were fully built, performed, and if needed, cleared. Overall, we are pleased with the management [of Artjoker] of this project.

We didn’t check with other providers, so I don’t have anyone to compare to. Everything was fine. Things that ever were missing were sorted with by ArtJoker with no issues.
