Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the creator and owner of the digital product company, Feroli Designs. We offer digital products including UX design consultancy services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Arknot Inc., and what were your goals?

We hired Arknot Inc. to create wireframes, final website design, SEO optimization and customer database software development. We aimed to have a dynamic website that would be user-friendly and also allow us to view our sales analytics and customer database.

How did you select Arknot Inc. and what were the deciding factors?

We chose to hire Arknot Inc. based on their excellent customer support, fair cost, and great product value. We were and continue to be guided during the entire web development process; from the initial requirements stage to the final delivery.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of the work required was to create a dynamic website that would encompass both a user-friendly interface and clean design for consumers of our brand.

Within the Agile iterative approach, the project steps include: an initial consultancy to gather requirements, daily team meetings, user-testing and feedback and weekly review of the prototypes. The weekly deliverables are reviews of the prototypes. While the crucial and final deliverable is our company website.

The technologies used are a hosted WordPress solution which was mocked using Figma collaborative wireframes and prototypes.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 2 people with expertise in UX design and software development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In the user-testing phase, we received a plethora of positive feedback. In every step of the website development process, our team has been and continues to be impressed with Arknot's ability to respond promptly to our adjustments with a high level of professionalism and transparency.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

The project management style was efficient using an Agile approach. Due to the current COVID circumstances, all daily meetings were conducted online via Zoom. We used a Slack channel to communicate instantly with Arknot's team. They were very reliable and quick to respond.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with their customer service and ability to explain software development codes in layman's terms so we could all understand every step of the way.

This really made a huge impact in our team's understanding of each deliverable. In addition, Arknot has a unique interpersonal culture that makes them very approachable!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are always areas for growth. However, to be honest, they have stood out above the rest when searching for a company to hire. Our collaborative work has only proven those initial positive impressions we had. We have learned a lot from this website development process.
