The existing application, a PWA, was in dire need of an overhaul in order to improve our users' experience. We hired Appventurez to redesign for a native mobile application, based on market best practices.

How did you select this vendor?

We shortlisted a number of vendors specialized in the area and we went with AppVenturez based on their professionalism and agile and fast follow-up.

The team conducted research both analyzing the existing platform and taking best practices from well known e-commerce applications available in the market. With both internal and external input they came up with wireframe variations that were tested with our customers, before moving forward with the design.

There were three resources, a project lead, a designer and a technical development expert.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're pleased with the deliverables, even though the final result took longer than expected. All stakeholders initially underestimated the complexity of redesigning an existing platform, instead of starting from scratch. Additionally, as a design was needed as well in Arabic, it took more time. However, due to the agility of the team, we managed to achieve a very good result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It is easy to communicate with AppVenturez. They provide detailed status reports on a weekly basis and react fast with any questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their reactivity, professional approach, and dedication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Redesigning an existing app for a B2B environment is complex, and this kind of workload was underestimated. We have discussed this at length to improve expectations for future projects.

We have not got any downloads or improvements because the app crashed after some time and no support was given by the developer. Although many emails were sent, we did not get any feedback or support

Lack of project management, Whatsapp conversation, random emails, no knowledge of security and AWS deployment, project handover was a complete mess, no knowledge about product and staging environment. Data is lost and unable to trace where everything was. I

They could have done everything else differently:

• Deploy production server, create backup and provide files, codes, and configurations.
• Configure staging server to be a replacement for the main.
• Handover all required files and information.
• Proper management team and handling.
