Appsketiers created an app for Ride the Wave: a ridesharing app. This app will allow individuals in Tonga to get rides to and from places and have food delivered to them from restaurants.

They created an app from the ground up and kept us in the loop throughout the process, updating us as needed.

They answered questions, concerns and emails quickly. The app took a lot longer than expected, but there were so many variables they had to work with especially since the app will be in Tonga, where such apps don't exist yet and payments are a little more challenging.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The folks over at Appsketiers were super down-to-earth and friendly, but professional. They answered all concerns and questions within a short period of time. They did a lot of research to create the best app and look for the app. They took in all considerations and listened to what we wanted. They walked us through all the necessary steps and helped whenever we needed to get them the information they needed in order to create the app. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Appsketiers could have done differently?

We were initially told the app would take around 8 months to a year to make, it did take longer, but honestly, it all worked out and the app looks great and is easy to use.

They met all of our requirements within the time frame they had given us. They were very quick with responses to our questions and any changes we had.

The team was very quick to respond with any and all questions we had. They had a clear and concise process to move through each phase efficiently.

The most unique thing about the company is that we were able to connect with a few of their employees that also had a love for the game of golf. This made it really easy to convey ideas.

One area of improvement I would like to see is working in a few more video calls or phone calls. I think that would make it feel more personable and get to know the team a little better.

I'm the owner of an IT company that scans barcodes for shoppers and provides a tool to receive the correct posted price, as well as creates shopping allowance tracking.

We needed help creating an app that would be reliable, bug-free, and perform consistently across different devices and operating systems. We also needed help validating the business idea.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Appsketiers has built the app, designed the interface, and handled all integrations. The team has also shadowed and directed me to all vendors who provide these services so that I was enrolled and they were able to properly embed the information into the app.

We started working together in January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Appsketiers has done coding, marketing, BETA testing, credentialing, creating BRS, marketing video, UX/UI, mapping, and designs. We’ve walked through the app, and if there were inquiries regarding operation, we addressed them in real time. Based on the performance presented during the BETA testing, there don’t appear to be any issues; the app appears to be on track for the next steps.

How did Appsketiers perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been addressed within the period of time I expect this app development to occur. Appsketiers has clear communication, always providing details as it pertains to the current or next steps. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

The team is very clear, detailed, and patient with inquiries.

I have no complaints about the progression of the development of the app.

We came up with an idea for an App where you can record conversations and messages with someone else. Then later on use those conversations that you saved to have a simulated conversation with them, as if they were there. Another feature is the App allows you to keep important dates for reoccurring memories like Anniversaries and Birthdays.
