I hired Appopoleis Studios to develop the MVP of our app as a React Native iOS app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Appopoleis Studios has developed an iOS app that connects with Apple Health and uses AI to allow users to log their meals, get personalized workouts and recipes, and receive coaching to improve their health. The team has handled the backend, frontend, and integration. I provided the UX design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Appopoleis Studios has delivered weekly deliverables and phase-based milestones, including HealthKit integration and an AI coach chat. I've tested these features on my iPhone, and everything has worked as expected. We've only found some UI issues and a handful of bugs.

Appopoleis Studios' project management has been professional and clear. The team has delivered on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, email, and a messaging app.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I've been impressed with Appopoleis Studios' thoughtful technical architecture, mostly bug-free implementation, and clear communication. I look forward to working with them long term.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if Appopoleis Studios stuck to the original implementation phases they outlined at the beginning. We've swapped around some deliverables.
