We hired Appassion to lead development of initially one, then a subsequent series of upgrades to our web app to broaden functionality and engage new users, which we wanted built in Bubble.io's no-code platform: first, upgrading the homeowner experience on our marketplace web app; second implementing the vendor experience on our web app; and finally, implementing the user interface for our MVP estimate software, connecting into an external model (ongoing). In each case, this scope included:

• Developing a data structure and overall architecture based on designs
• Building out the web app, based on designs
• Staying agile and adapting development based on adjustments to designs / user feedback
• Standing up API integrations (Custom GPT service, sendgrid, mixpanel, etc.)
• Supporting through deployment to address

Appassion delivered both marketplace web app experiences, and is currently delivering the estimation software interface.

They do a very good job setting expectations around timeline, communicating progress along the way, and delivering on time. We share a slack channel as our primary mode of communication - Pargev is remained very responsive and quick to address questions / issues throughout our time working together. Pargev also regularly provides advice / feedback on plans, designs and timeline based on his expertise in no-code / low-code development which has made him / Appassion a very valuable partner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very good at creative solutioning, as well as making Bubble look and behave like traditional software. As a startup that is pushing the boundaries of no-code in some cases and refining / validating our product as we go, this has been a huge advantage, and also one of the most difficult things to source development partners for. He has a very strong command of Bubble and can flex into traditional code to maximize plug-ins and integrations.

No. They've been a pleasure to work with, and we plan to keep working with them.

The project didn’t have a clearly defined deadline or timeline, as it was unfamiliar territory for all of us.

Tickly is a secure online marketplace for verified event ticket resale, providing a hassle-free and fraud-free experience for buyers and sellers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Appassion?

We needed to develop version 1 of our website to test the market opportunity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Appassion has handled everything related to building our entire solution and all the integrations needed to run a fully working event ticket marketplace for buyers and sellers. The team has integrated Stripe for payments, E-ID verification of sellers, email service via Mailchimp, and customer support via Intercom.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 2–3 teammates from Appassion.

How did you come to work with Appassion?

I found Appassion through the Bubble partner list. Pargev (CEO) was very helpful with estimations and support on the MVP description. He appeared eager to ensure we got the best solution on a minimal budget for the MVP test. The team was generally very transparent and available when needed. Pargev also appeared very trustworthy.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2024, and the website launched in April 2025. We continue to use the team for adding new features and design improvements. We plan to continue using Appassion going forward.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We currently onboard 5–10 users on the platform and have grown our revenues from €0–€10,000 monthly. On average, our users give us 4–5 stars on Trustpilot. Appassion has built the platform and helped design the user experience.

How did Appassion perform from a project management standpoint?

We break tasks down into milestones and track everything via ClickUp. We use Slack for instant messaging and ClickUp for task management. Appassion’s project management is very good; they deliver on time and respond well to our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Appassion has achieved a lot on a limited budget; they’ve built a very complex system on a very small budget.

We could have spent more time on testing and planning some features.
