Appassion built a custom internal platform for ONYX Electric that brings our sales, marketing, and financial data into one system and helps us run day-to-day operations. Key deliverables:

1. Central database on Supabase that tracks every customer from first lead through estimate, job, invoice, and payment
2. Automated data syncs from Housecall Pro, CallRail, Google Ads, Google Local Services, Thumbtack, and our website booking forms
3. Web-based dashboards for sales, marketing performance, and technician results, with date filters and grouping options
4. Google Ads Data Manager API integration and Google Cloud setup, so offline conversions and closed jobs are sent back to Google Ads for better ad optimization
5. Lead attribution (GCLID tracking) that ties ad clicks to booked jobs and revenue
6. An AI agent that responds to Google Local Services leads automatically
7. Separate production and staging environments, so new features are tested before they go live

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

1. Ad cost per sold job fell about 40%: from roughly $510 in Q1 (Jan–Mar) to about $305 since August, because the dashboards showed us which campaigns actually produce paying jobs
2. Ad spend as a share of sales dropped from 24% to 17% over the same periods, and to 8% so far in October 222 closed sales, worth about $423K, uploaded and accepted by Google Ads as offline conversions since late July. In October, 100% of uploads were accepted, up from almost none when the integration first went live in July
3. The AI agent now answers Google Local Services leads in about 1 minute (median), around the clock. It has sent about 90% of all lead replies since it launched in August, without staff involvement
4. Data from 7+ sources (Housecall Pro, CallRail, Google Ads, Local Services, Google Business Profile, Thumbtack, website bookings) now syncs automatically into one system, so there’s no manual reporting

Pargev’s project management has been excellent. We work in short iterations: I often sketch out a feature or prototype it myself, and Pargev turns it into stable, production-ready code quickly, usually within days, not weeks. He’s very responsive when something urgent comes up, like a broken integration or a change in Google’s API requirements, and he fixes it fast.

He also set up a proper process for a small business like ours. New features are built and tested in a separate staging environment before they go live, so our day-to-day operations are never disrupted. He understands our business, not just the code, and often suggests better ways to solve a problem than what I originally asked for. Communication is direct and easy, with no unnecessary meetings or overhead.

What stands out most is how much Pargev can handle on his own. Most agencies specialize in one area: websites, ad tracking, or backend systems. Pargev handled all of it. He connected more than ten platforms into one system: Housecall Pro, CallRail, Google Ads, Google Local Services, Google Business Profile, Thumbtack, and the Microsoft and Meta ad platforms. Getting those to work together reliably is complex, and he made it look easy.

He also understands a home-services business, not just the technology. He knows that what matters to us is booked jobs and revenue, not clicks, and he built the system around that: every ad click is tied to a real sale, and those results are fed back to Google to improve our campaigns. He’s a true technical partner who thinks like a business owner, and that’s rare.

We needed to develop version 1 of our website to test the market opportunity.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Appassion has handled everything related to building our entire solution and all the integrations needed to run a fully working event ticket marketplace for buyers and sellers. The team has integrated Stripe for payments, E-ID verification of sellers, email service via Mailchimp, and customer support via Intercom.

I found Appassion through the Bubble partner list. Pargev (CEO) was very helpful with estimations and support on the MVP description. He appeared eager to ensure we got the best solution on a minimal budget for the MVP test. The team was generally very transparent and available when needed. Pargev also appeared very trustworthy.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2024, and the website launched in April 2025. We continue to use the team for adding new features and design improvements. We plan to continue using Appassion going forward.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We currently onboard 5–10 users on the platform and have grown our revenues from €0–€10,000 monthly. On average, our users give us 4–5 stars on Trustpilot. Appassion has built the platform and helped design the user experience.

How did Appassion perform from a project management standpoint?

We break tasks down into milestones and track everything via ClickUp. We use Slack for instant messaging and ClickUp for task management. Appassion’s project management is very good; they deliver on time and respond well to our needs.

We hired Appassion to lead development of initially one, then a subsequent series of upgrades to our web app to broaden functionality and engage new users, which we wanted built in Bubble.io's no-code platform: first, upgrading the homeowner experience on our marketplace web app; second implementing the vendor experience on our web app; and finally, implementing the user interface for our MVP estimate software, connecting into an external model (ongoing). In each case, this scope included:

• Developing a data structure and overall architecture based on designs

• Staying agile and adapting development based on adjustments to designs / user feedback

Pargev also regularly provides advice / feedback on plans, designs and timeline based on his expertise in no-code / low-code development which has made him / Appassion a very valuable partner.

Very good at creative solutioning, as well as making Bubble look and behave like traditional software. As a startup that is pushing the boundaries of no-code in some cases and refining / validating our product as we go, this has been a huge advantage, and also one of the most difficult things to source development partners for. He has a very strong command of Bubble and can flex into traditional code to maximize plug-ins and integrations.
