The scope was to design and build a live voting platform for our hackathon within 4 days. This included the voting interface, real-time vote collection and results, testing before launch, and live support during the event to make sure everything ran smoothly.

The platform was delivered in 4 days, handled 70+ live voters over a 2-hour event, and ran with zero hiccups. Everything was delivered on time and worked exactly as we needed during the live event.

Everything was delivered on time despite the tight 4-day timeline. The developer was extremely responsive, often coming back with immediate solutions, and even handled last-minute changes without any issue. They also stayed on during the live event to support us if needed.

Apex AI was engaged to design and develop a custom AI-powered outbound voice platform tailored to our operational requirements. The primary objective was to replace our existing third-party AI voice provider with a proprietary solution that would reduce production costs while maintaining high-quality conversational performance and supporting large-scale outbound calling. The scope of work included solution architecture, backend software development, AI voice integration, telephony integration, API development, infrastructure configuration, performance optimisation, testing and ongoing technical support. Apex AI worked closely with our team throughout the project to refine functionality, resolve technical challenges and implement improvements as requirements evolved. Key deliverables included a functional AI voice calling platform, integration with our existing business systems, scalable backend infrastructure, optimisation of call handling and conversation workflows, and the technical foundation required to support high-volume outbound customer engagement. The project also included ongoing refinement, troubleshooting and performance improvements to ensure the platform met our commercial objectives.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project successfully delivered a working proprietary AI voice platform that replaced our reliance on a third-party provider and established the technical foundation for future commercial deployment. Throughout development, measurable progress was demonstrated through the successful integration of AI voice services, telephony systems and backend infrastructure, along with the ability to conduct high-volume outbound calling. The platform achieved significant improvements in scalability, successfully increasing outbound calling capacity while reducing the projected production costs associated with our previous solution. In addition, ongoing optimisation and iterative development resulted in measurable improvements in system stability, performance and operational efficiency as the platform matured.

My company works with  hospo and retail clients doing one specific thing... finding more profit - I know this sounds like an obvious goal but in my experience less than 10% of micro, small and medium businesses have visibility around if they are actually making money on a daily, weekly and monthly basis -  what I implement is laughably simple and it's exactly the same for $10k revenue per week businesses right up to $25 million per year revenue companies.
I simply take the data they already have and present it in a way that lets them predictively see what is happening in their business before it happens... giving them the tools to tweak labour, cogs etc to generate an extra 3-10% net profit. I can only work with 8 or so clients at any one time. 
apex have helped me systemise this - turn my SOPs in to a software product that can be used by thousands of businesses instead of 8. Dramatically decreasing the cost for each client and exposing pretty much any customer facing business to a proven profit increasing model

Easy question to answer - Apex AI developers are smart! Feel like business running partners and not just some bloke in an unknown country just executing your requests. They are invested, have opinions, drive the project like a proper consultant.
