For what projects/services did your company hire Anotheria GmbH, and what were your goals?

We partnered with Anotheria based on their experience with scalable systems and similar projects. Our goal was to complete a project related to the German energy market.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were advised to choose Anotheria by one of our German partners who had a positive experience with them. And most importantly, Anotheria had relevant experience in the project business domain.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of the project was a rollout of smart metering systems and modern equipment replacing the aged conventional ones. This process entailed a number of challenges for metering point operators, like observing the price ceilings defined in the German Metering Point Operation Act, reducing organizational and installation risks, and many more. Rollout Process Manager arrived in time to resolve the key issues related to the entire rollout process: from planning, optimization, automation up to a full control of the executed operations.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had an existing system that required rework and a set of completely new modules for new metering systems. Everything was done on time and within the planned budget. Anotheria did a good job.

We planned steps and deliverables of the project and aimed to stay on schedule by moving forward with two-week sprints. Our coordination was a combination of Zoom meetings and email messaging.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of the work was high-end, and we had no major production issues after the project's launch.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, there wasn’t any.
