The team coordinated all onsite logistics directly with our client. They were able to flex last minute when the client moved the shoot up to beginning of the week. The team arrived early to set up, scouted the location for ideal shots. They worked with four separate client team members to capture their experience of working with ScaleSec. They brought out the best in the clients, making them feel at ease and as though they were talking to a friend.
They filmed plenty of B-roll so that when the final product is done, we could actually have 2-3 versions if we so chose. We loved working with 730Eddy for their tremendous professionalism, deep experience, and just fun and comfortable people to work with. I cannot more highly recommend this team for any videography needs.

I’m the brand manager at Thermotron Industries, a mid-sized manufacturer of environmental test chambers and vibration systems. We’re located in Holland, Michigan, and I’m in charge of brand communications.

What challenge were you trying to address with 730 Eddy Studios?
We hired 730 for their video production services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the beginning, we had a couple of meetings to determine the scope of the project. We storyboarded everything from start to finish. We created the scripts, and then they hired voice actors for the necessary voiceovers.
Moreover, we worked together to scout the location of the shoot, determining what would be best in terms of lighting, power, and traffic flow. This helped us avoid any major interruptions. From there, we went into actual video production and editing.
So far, 730 has created a total of five videos that are anywhere between 2–3 minutes long. Primarily, the videos are made of real people and products, but 730 has also put graphic animations into them. We mainly use the video for marketing purposes on social media and for our website.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 5–7 people. We’ve worked directly with Andy (CEO & Creative) most of the time, but he’s also passed us off to his team. Members are also pulled into the team along the way when necessary.
How did you come to work with 730 Eddy Studios?
I knew what I wanted and what I didn’t want, so I took my time to research and put together a list of companies with their pros and cons. Then, I discovered 730 out of nowhere. After interviewing them, I decided that they were the right fit for the project.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first engage with them in August 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The videos have increased our social engagement by over 20% in just two short weeks. We’ve gained 1,000 organic views on the videos with zero paid advertising. We can do more if we want to invest more, but that’s not entirely my decision.
The first take has been 90% accurate. We’ve had to do some edits on technical details, such as shortening or moving some clips, but 730 has done a fantastic job. They’re talented and easy to work with, so there hasn’t been too much editing necessary. Overall, I’m 100% satisfied with their work, which exceeded my expectations.
How did 730 Eddy Studios perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is nearly perfect. To communicate, we use a little bit of everything. We’ve met in person over lunch. I’ve also had Zoom calls with them and talked to the team over the phone. We’ve also used emails. Overall, they’re good at communicating.
What did you find most impressive about them?
730 is small and talented, which fits our needs well. We’re a mid-sized company and not looking at ginormous productions. At the same time, we want a team that understands and relays our story. 730 does that, and they also have the necessary equipment for pre- and post-production.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. They do a great job, and I simply don’t want that to change.

I’m a marketing director and platform growth leader for an accounting and consulting firm. We work across many industries, including banking, healthcare, and manufacturing.

What challenge were you trying to address with 730 Eddy Studios?
Our challenge was specific to an internal innovation summit meeting for individuals who contributed to our innovation story. These solution champions took a product from the incubation stage all the way through to launch in the market. We were looking for someone who could help us capture our technology product stories and shape them into collateral that we could share externally.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
730 Eddy Studios started by capturing the sessions and individuals who had been key in those product innovation experiences. We weren’t sure if we would do a podcast, or straight video, or a combination of things, and they helped us realize that.
Now, they service several internal and external events and help us with many market-facing initiatives. We asked them to come to our annual healthcare summit, which is an external event that we host for more than 300 clients. We brought in their team to support several initiatives, including capturing video for on-demand as a virtual audience or for those who attended and wanted to revisit it or share it with their team. They also did live support for our keynote event and helped integrate planned video and other media into some of our live events.
They’re now doing much more and are helping us plan the event. They’re integral to the content that we create for these live events. They not only help us execute on-site, but they produce much of the content that we use during our keynote events. They do all of our social storytelling. We do highlight videos at the beginning and end of each day. They’ve worked on our virtual summit, which has grown. Previously, we offered only some of the sessions that we recorded on site. Now, we offer them live as they are unfolding, and the 730 Eddy Studios team is critical to that.
They also support our innovation labs, which are onsite ideation sessions. They created content for that experience, which is like a 360-degree igloo booth, and the walls are all LED.
What is the team composition?
I’m familiar with approximately eight employees within their team. I work most closely with Andy (CEO & Creative, 730 Eddy Studios), who’s been integral to most of our projects. He and I work together at a strategic level. I also work closely with our project manager. I’ve worked with several members of their team at various locations, such as the camera operator and post-production specialist, a sound editor, and an animation specialist.
How did you come to work with 730 Eddy Studios?
A colleague of mine had heard of them but hadn’t worked with them. It was a warm referral, but we didn’t have a personal connection. They quickly became a trusted advisor.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in May 2016. We have been partnered with them ever since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The sophistication of our live events has been noticeable, both for our internal audiences and external. We got a lot of comments in our post-summit survey that definitely can be, at least in part, attributed to the support of the 730 Eddy Studios team. They create dynamic presentations and environments that are conducive to learning but also fun.
We’ve also seen a significant increase in our YouTube subscriptions. This is due to hits we've received on some of those videos done by Andy’s team, as well as some of the social hits. When we include media that 730 Eddy Studios has created, we’ve seen increased engagement with our website, our social network, and our internal communications. With their help, we've been able to educate, inform, and entertain our internal audiences.
How did 730 Eddy Studios perform from a project management standpoint?
They have overperformed in terms of meeting deadlines and achieving their deliverables. They’ve scaled for us by adding team members, either permanently or for events as needed. They are incredibly responsive. Our dedicated project manager works fluidly with any of my clients, who now know them and know that they can work with their team directly.
They use several project management tools. We are getting them on contractor status to our tools so they will be able to see our Outlook calendars and communicate with us on Skype. We have used Frame and Wistia with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They now work across several industries and business units of our company, and they are incredibly organized in how they serve the company’s broader group. They also know who to work with when it comes to the financial impact, which is important; otherwise, things can get costly easily. I appreciate that about their team. They never take advantage of acting on someone else’s request without confirming first that it is within scope and budget.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be good for them to continue to evolve and advance their understanding of what works and doesn’t work in the broader media world and large social networks. We rely on them as an advisor on what we should be doing in those spaces. They have proven themselves to be invaluable from that perspective.

Get to know Andy and his team. Bring them to your office and introduce them to your people. They are incredibly personable, awesome people. We developed an amazing rapport and created an extension of our team. They are professional and personable at the same time. They make people feel comfortable, so don’t be afraid to have them on-site and get them in front of your clients, because that is where they shine and do their best work.
