CNC machine IoT integration and ERP connection: Two CNC machines are connected to the plant network and interfaced with the Odoo ERP system, enabling automated capture of machine operating data without operator input. The integration streams machine state (active, idle, alarm), executed program names, and produced piece counts into Odoo, where the data is persisted and made available for visualisation. A second integration layer connects digital measuring instruments (micrometer, calliper, gauge) to Odoo so measured values transfer directly from the device into the system rather than being recorded on paper. A third connection pulls cutting tool stock and tool movement data from the digital tool cabinet into Odoo. Custom Odoo module development Production data module: Interactive state timeline per machine with selectable time range, zoom and pan, hover detail, and a synchronised alarm table. Produced-parts chart filterable by machine, period and program, showing relative counts across all programs or absolute counts for a single program, with drill-down on each data point. Daily metrics view storing historical utilisation per day, week, month and year, with average active time and a detailed table of pieces produced per program. Program name administration for mapping tracked CNC programs to machines. Near-real-time shop floor dashboard displaying up to four machines at once with a three-hour timeline, current state and last alarm, refreshing every 30 seconds. Measurement and quality control module: Part administration where each produced part is defined with its dimensions, tolerances, sketches and a reference image, plus an ordered, drag-and-drop list of parameters to be measured. Machine production view showing which part each machine is currently running, with part reassignment and a guided measurement session in which values arrive automatically from the connected instrument or are entered manually, charted against the last eight hours of readings for that parameter. The module replaces the paper-based measurement process, improves traceability, and warns operators of drift in part quality before out-of-tolerance dimensions cause machine alarms or damage. Automatic component and tool ordering: Tool stock view fed live from the digital cabinet, with a configurable minimum stock level per item. When stock falls below the threshold, the system automatically generates a draft purchase order (RFQ) in the Odoo purchasing module, with duplicate-prevention controls and notification of the responsible person. A tool events view records every withdrawal, return and replacement for consumption analysis and procurement optimisation. AI assistant for Lupit Pole online shoppers: A customer-facing AI assistant embedded in the Lupit Pole webshop, grounded in the product catalogue and the company's own product, sizing, installation and shipping information. It answers pre-purchase questions in natural language, guides shoppers to the right pole, mount and finish for their ceiling height, floor type and intended use, and hands off to a human when a query falls outside its scope. Conversation logs feed back into an analysis of the most common pre-purchase blockers.
