What challenge were you trying to address with Ally?

Were looking for an outside accessibility consultant to proactively audit a client's site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ally provided us with a website accessibility audit. They delivered a very detailed report with screenshots, videos, and references to the WCAG 2.2 AA specs and notes that aided in remediation.

How did you come to work with Ally?

I heard about them through their sister company, White Rabbit Group. We were unhappy with other accessibility consultants we had used in the past, and Ally was able to provide the scope our client and we needed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March to July 2026

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ally delivered a detailed report, and we were able to remediate most of the problems on the site. We’re still in the process of remediation, but we’ve been able to understand the accessibility problems clearly from their report, and our development team has addressed the issues we’ve started working on.

How did Ally perform from a project management standpoint?

Ally’s project management was fantastic, and their communication was great. We had a kickoff meeting and a reporting meeting, and we had good email communication all around. Other accessibility providers we’ve used in the past seemed more interested in selling a retainer, but Ally was able to provide the scope we and our client needed at this stage. We plan to use Ally in the future, and I recommend them to others needing accessibility audits.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by Ally's report's thoroughness, speedy turnaround time, flexibility, and great communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for Ally to improve.

Since this is a pro bono project, our sole outcome is to develop a functional website based on our designs that meets accessibility standards. We lean on our partners at Ally to determine that.

Ally is very flexible and accommodating with this project. They work quickly to help bring this website to life when our timeline is shortened. Moreover, they’re understanding when we’re challenged with client and other third-party feedback. We communicate via virtual meetings.

Ally’s flexibility and sense of partnership to get this project complete are impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We rely on them as the technical and website development experts. The only thing we can ask them to do differently is to make the technical speak more understandable.
