Algorithmic serves as the primary development partner for Fairway Finder, responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining the entire platform across web, mobile, backend systems, and scraping infrastructure.

Summary of Key Deliverables:

- Backend Architecture & APIs: Designed and built the core backend services that power tee-time search, user accounts, alerts, payments, and all app functionality.

- Web Application: Developed the full fairwayfinder.io web app, including search, course pages, subscriptions, onboarding, and admin tools.

- iOS & Android Apps: Built and maintain the native mobile apps, including UI/UX implementation, API integration, notifications, and App Store/Play Store management.

- Scraping Infrastructure: Engineered and manage the large-scale scraping system used to gather real-time tee time data across hundreds of courses.

- Alerts System: Developed the real-time cancellation alert engine and notification pipeline.

Payments & Subscriptions: Integrated Stripe for billing, subscription management, promotions, and Tee Time Alerts migration.

- Ongoing Development: Ship continuous feature updates (pricing, favorites, deep links, spacial search, analytics, etc.) and provide long-term maintenance, monitoring, and optimization.

DevOps & Hosting: Manage hosting environments, deployments, monitoring, security, and infrastructure reliability.

- High Engagement: Users consistently browse multiple courses per session, with strong repeat usage and retention across all platforms.

- Scalable Data Coverage: Built scraping infrastructure covering thousands of courses, enabling real-time tee-time search and alerts in 20+ states.

- Proven Monetization: Early users successfully completed paid subscriptions and convenience-fee bookings, validating the revenue model.

- Search & Alert Performance: Delivered sub-second search speeds and near-instant cancellation alerts, significantly improving user experience.

Algorithmic has consistently demonstrated strong project management throughout the development of Fairway Finder. They work in a clear sprint-based workflow, communicate progress proactively, and provide structured timelines for each phase of development. While timelines occasionally shifted due to the complexity of the product, they were transparent about scope changes and always provided updated delivery expectations.

They’ve been highly responsive to my needs—quick to adjust priorities, troubleshoot urgent issues, and implement new features as the product evolved. Whether it was fixing a scraper, accelerating a mobile release, or supporting a major launch, they consistently stepped in and delivered. Overall, their communication, flexibility, and commitment to seeing the product succeed have been major strength

What stood out most about Algorithmic was the quality of their communication and the way they approached the relationship. They never felt like a typical outsourced development shop—they operated much more like true partners who were invested in the success of Fairway Finder. They communicated clearly, proactively, and consistently, and they took the time to understand the product, the users, and the long-term vision. That sense of partnership and ownership is what truly set them apart.

I don’t have any notable areas for improvement. My experience with Algorithmic has been consistently positive, and they delivered strong work across communication, development quality, and responsiveness.
