We’ve engaged with Aidetic Software Pvt. Ltd. data scientists to help us build our domain. When someone uploads their content into Nesh, we make sense of it by understanding what the content is. Then, people can go and ask questions in natural language form and find the answer to those questions within all of the content that the company uploaded. In addition to that, they keep on working on the backend features of our software.

We found them through a mutual connection, and we liked their work. Once we were satisfied with our initial talks, we brought them to the project.

We’re pretty satisfied with their work because they're very professional and come to us with ideas that we can implement.

Their project management has been great. We had some issues at the beginning regarding their speed as we were going back and forth quite a bit, but we eventually fixed everything. In terms of tools and communication, we use Asana and Slack.

Their customer service is impressive; they explain everything so that a layperson can understand and are a professional and easy-to-work-with team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — they've done a pretty good job, and I wouldn’t ask them to do anything differently.

To augment or backend and agile development of front end features. Aidetic was also instrumental in kick starting our ML and NLP strategy. We were looking for an agile team with an ownership (as opposed to Consulting) mentality.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Predictable cadence of releases focused on business priorities. This was hard to achieve before the commitment shown by the AIdetic team. Active input in "how" to deliver to customer requirements based on the knowledge set built over the last 15 months

Pod model with a single point owner who works with business owner on our side. Rest of the team is also actively involved through daily scrums. Focus on delivery as opposed to finger pointing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Ownership mentality of the Pod owner and the execs. They truly care about the product they are helping us build. Infact, they volunteereed to be one of our Beta customers as our product serves one of their own use case.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

we are working on a plan to make the resources be somewhat more fungible across technologies as small companies cannot afford expert in every area. Also DevOPs function is being solidified working with us.

I'm a co-founder at Ladder Media. Our business provides managed education, content development, and accessibility services to ed-tech companies, publishers, and education organizations around the world.

We had a large number of books and other study material that was in pdf and scanned pdf format, and our educators and SMEs had to perform many manual functions on each one to extract information and create new assets. We wanted an automated solution so that our educators will have to spend less time on their tasks.

We were looking for someone who was thorough with their work, gave on-time deliveries, and understood the constraints under which a start-up works. We found that Aidetic fulfilled all of these criteria and hence we moved ahead with them.

They had to extract and process all text information, including those from images. They created a custom OCR tool that gave us high accuracy results across varying types and quality of documents. They started by outlining the scope of the project, then they delivered a few titles of different types of visual quality to ensure that the system is able to process the entire bandwidth of titles available, and then in the next sprints delivered the rest of the titles in tranches.

• We were able to extract information in formats that we agreed on, within the set timeline.
• We felt that Aidetic's AI and NLP capabilities were very strong and they were able to understand our requirements.

• The project management was smooth, with predefined milestones and timely deliveries.
• We communicated primarily through email, along with Slack and Zoom.

This was our first technology outsourcing project at this scale, so we were a little worried at first. But their team was very cooperative and adaptive to our requirements.

I cannot think of anything.

I'm the CTO of a maker of sales engagement software for sales professionals.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aidetic Software Pvt. Ltd., and what were your goals?

We had an AI project in mind but didn't have in-company expertise with AI technologies. This was a strategic initiative to see if we could use AI to enhance our product offering and make the work of our customers a little easier.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Aidetic based on their AI experience and that they fit into our budget.

We had two primary deliverables, one was a proof of concept to validate the idea and technology and if that was good, then to deliver the actual implementation as part of our product. We used OpenAI as the AI engine (with Aidetic's guidance for the approval process), and Aidetic wrote the logic, API calls, and backend code in Python.

We worked directly with 3 people from Aidetic - their two founders (CEO, CTO) and one of their software engineers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Based on Aidetic's work, we knew pretty early that the proof of concept was going to be a success, and that allowed us to refine exactly what we wanted to deliver to our customers. And because of that, we hit our target deadline, which was critical as it needed to be done before our busiest sales months.

Early in the project we brought Aidetic into our Slack workspace and that was our primary means of communication. We also setup weekly check-ins over Zoom to discuss progress and what was next to do. Both of these were very effective in communicating with the Aidetic team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about Aidetic Software Pvt. Ltd. was how easy to work with them. Right from the beginning we were on the same page. They communicated well and helped manage expectations appropriately.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some things in code that we found weren't actually needed, so some additional cleanup would have been good, but we addressed that with Aidetic and they promptly took care of it.

I’m the director at Corient Business Solutions. We provide outsourcing services such as bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll to various clients in the US and UK.

What challenge were you trying to address with Aidetic Software Pvt. Ltd.?

While we were providing finance and accounting services to external clients, a lot of our third-party customers would come back and ask a lot of different types of information on a regular basis. For example, somebody wanted to know their profit and loss account statement for a specific month, and some customers would also want to check their balance sheet, outstanding receivables, and more. 

Every single day, we received more than 140 queries. As a result, we wanted to develop an application on WhatsApp that could efficiently provide information to our external clients’ queries, and we hired Aidetic Software to help us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted to automate the entire information our third-party customers needed. That way, our external clients could easily request the information they want to know and our system would provide it seamlessly. The main feature of the app was that our customer’s questions could be sent through WhatsApp. 

Since our accounting system was integrated into Whatsapp, the automated information about our external clients' financial queries would be provided in a span of 20 seconds. The Aidetic Software team developed it in Python, and our end users don’t need to download any other app apart from WhatsApp. The team provided a proof of concept (POC) first before delivering the automation system.

We worked with four people from Aidetic Software, including their co-founder, VP, and some programmers.

We were referred by one of the potential customers of Aidetic Software. That was the reason why we decided to partner with them.

We spent $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February 2019–June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our system was performing efficiently, and we received positive reviews from our external clients. Moreover, our system got registered on a marketplace on Xero and we were recognized as a certified partner. That was possible because of the effective testing the team did. Most importantly, with their support, we secured around 1,100 subscriptions from third-party clients.

How did Aidetic Software Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

On the project management part, we had our own project manager who oversaw the engagement. We typically communicated with Aidetic Software through emails and phone calls. They also delivered on time from start to finish. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility and can-do attitude were impressive. Rather than saying no to our requirements, they took the time to understand what we were looking for before working on it. Above all, we were impressed that they were able to go into uncharted territories to provide solutions for us. 

Our relationship ended already, but we still go back to them whenever new things come up. They continue to incorporate further amendments to our system whenever needed. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so. There were areas of improvement at the start of our relationship such as the late invoices being sent to us. However, that was only due to our relationship being new. As the engagement progressed, Aidetic Software gradually improved. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate as many times as possible to discuss the design document of your system because that will allow the project to be seamless. Furthermore, in the second phase of the project, have a detailed discussion on the requirements screen by screen, and module by module.

I'm the COO of a Ceramic Product (Tiles, Sanitary, Bathware etc) company. We manufacture and retail these products.

We had these 4 considerations while looking out for the vendor:

The scope was to build an end to end system for forecasting the demand and better manage the supply chain. Exact steps included:

1. Analyzing the existing data, processes and systems.
2. Coming up with a unified data structure to manage all the siloed data.
3. Researching the latest academic or commercial techniques in use for this kind of problem.
4. Understanding the business context.
5. Developing and building AI/Data models.
6. Building a UI for visualizations and data tracking.
7. Reporting the findings to the board.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

1. We were able to structure all the data which was earlier sitting in silos.
2. We were able to identify various demand trends according to geographies, which helped us make our supply chain very optimized and reduce wastage significantly.
3. Overall wastage was reduced by 15% and revenue increased by 10%.

They used simple google docs and slides to document/report each and everything. They spent quite a bit of time getting to understand the challenge. They were very good at interacting with it as we were going through that process, so we were going through to make sure that we fully understood where they were and what they were doing. They communicated very well and we enjoyed interacting with them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to quickly understand the business problem and associate everything with a tangible business outcome. Their team members are smart, hard-working, and humble. Over time, as our trust grew, we found increasing returns while working with Aidetic team members.

I am very satisfied with the levels of service they provided to us.
