This shall be a pilot project to prove the ability of proposed digital solutions to effectively locate and recognize the most common waste plaguing dump yards, highways, and specified areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) 

• Fly drones and capture high-resolution images of the specified area (this was not by AI Superior)

The pilot project has paved the way for future advancements in AI and geospatial analytics. The synergy between drone technology and AI has potential applications far beyond the scope of this pilot, offering a promising avenue for environmental and urban planning endeavors. The solution demonstrated high operational characteristics allowing smooth and clear access and interaction with results and analytics. 

This AI-driven solution digitizes the waste objects in a fast and efficient way to reduce manual inspection. The solution integrates drone technology with AI/ML modeling for self-detection and classification of objects. The AI/ML model delivers the accurate location of objects with Geospatial coordinates, identification, and classification of waste, volumetric quantification of waste in each target location, and can find the distances between waste objects. 

The solution provides statistical reports, these reports help to analyze the pattern in waste disposal in target dump yards that facilitates taking necessary actions on respective authorities and precautionary actions to make guidelines for waste disposal.

• Ability for the core engine to segment and type content correctly

• An analysis of how training can improve quality and performance of the system so it’s clearer how future investments in training the engine could produce better results and the associated cost of doing that

• A go/no-go evaluation for moving from POC to a very basic MVP of the tool that would support beta testing from customers

AI Superior created a computer vision PoC that is being used as the base work that enables one of our most valuable product features which is the ability to extract actionable insights from still pictures of customer facilities whilst protecting privacy. The deliverables are based in python and YOLO v5.

We've got a working PoC that actually serves as a base for insights extraction through computer vision, covering a relevant part of our use cases. That includes labelled datasets, working models with their source code, and a documented process to label new images and retrain the models.

It was extraordinary! On the commercial side, Sergei was really easy to talk to, nice and pragmatic, effectively easing the introduction of the projects, accommodating to our needs and superb in meeting our expectations regarding timing, budget and other particular needs. 

On the technical side, Sergio was stellar: clearly experienced and able to find elegant solutions to challenges, he made regular and very clear presentations on the progress of work and answered all our questions without reserves both in virtual meetings and through Slack. Timely deliveries and great support from there on!

The whole conduct of AI Superior was exemplary, but to pick up what impressed me the most, I'd select their commitment to the goals: a significant part of the work was about overcoming the inherent challenges regarding variance and adaptation of the underlying frameworks to the real-life conditions of the images for the computer vision goals. 

Ai Superior was relentless in making experiments, controlling the mean errors and mitigating the challenges applying image manipulation techniques, scanning strategies and labelling improvement until they reached high confidence scoring on training and testing sets.

The goal of the project was to build an AI model to analyze the roofs of residential houses. This AI model would have to detect a roof of a residential house and segment that roof into distinct areas. The model would have to perform this function on multiple residential roof types. 

As input, a satellite image is provided as the output the model would have to return: the pixel boundaries of the roof in the related image; a list of the distinct areas of the roof and their pixel boundaries in the corresponding image. The developed solution would have to ensure high precision and provide an easy way to improve the model by feeding in new training images.

The overall project consists of five working packages:

We are always looking how to diversify our current business. ML/AI is one of the most interesting fields these days. We already researched it about 5-6 years ago, but at that time technology was not ready to be able to solve many problems real businesses have. That changed in last 2-3 years and we decided to research again if it makes sense to invest into ML/AI team and what would be best approach for it.

As there is a lot of buzz about ML/AI these days our primary goal was to focus on real use cases, real businesses, and what kind of work in the field of ML/AI they are ready to pay for. We were looking for already established businesses to provide us consultancy and guidance to understand better where technology is now, what businesses are ready to adopt it, what kind of projects are there, how they are handled, etc.

I know it’s not easy to build a highly successful business from zero, so it was important to find a company that started from zero and was managed by people who had the knowledge and mental strength to deal with all possible problems and situations a new company can face while it's trying to evolve in an established and stable business.

Also, was looking for company that was honest about AI/ML what it can do right now, and what it can’t do. I spent a lot of time on research, and AI Superior was my only choice, so I decided to contact only them. It was good decision, but thanks to AI Superior I can say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in last year or two.

So, let me get to my current business. My company is biggest company in the world creating premium WordPress themes. Once there are projects, it will be easier to make decision who will be hired to work on them, established business as AI Superior or there will be possibility to hire someone by my company and start building our own team.

To provide best possible answer to this question, first I need to explain my experience and my career. I started career as web developer in 1997. Now, 26 years later I have lot of experience in different fields, different markets, working for companies established on different continents, as finally experience on building Qode Interactive with my partner, making it very successful business. I have a lot of experience and lot of connections I’ve made over years.

Now, let’s answer this question. Communication with Ivan is one of the best in my career. It’s not about deadlines, about workflow, that’s easy to meet, as I assume most of the people I’ve met in my life are professionals and most of them are respecting deadlines, workflows, procedures. What makes this communication different is quality of information, honesty and transparency, sorry to say, but very rare values in business communication, something that person brings from home, but most important, something that person keeps and doesn’t lose through life, which is in my eye proof of greatness that person has. I can only say I am very grateful to meet Ivan and no matter how this project goes, I am very grateful for every moment he spent talking to me.

I appointed AI Superior team to help us with data modeling aspects for one of our released mobile applications. The challenge we had was to understand the audience, their activity patterns and validate hypotheses if we could use these insights to decrease churn and increase user engagement level.

I was recommended to approach AI Superior as very reliable and professional AI and ML service provider. We had an intro call where their technical lead presented us a similar use case they executed in the past. This was very similar to what we required, the tech requirements were almost identical though the data interfaces had to be adjusted. The process and the pricing was very transparent, so we decided to start.

The tech stack was pretty straightforward: it was python code base with custom made visualization. The inference was running on AWS EC2 machine.

The outcome was extremely important for us as it provided a lot of insights about our current customers as well as allows us to make decisions towards user engagements based on ML models scores.
