I’m the HR and marketing director of Dhanvanthri Engineers Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturing company. We provide turnkey material handling solutions and high-quality equipment for diverse industries. We also offer in-house design, automation, and system integration services across India and internationally.

What challenge were you trying to address with Agram Konnect?

We needed help enhancing our brand visibility, revamping our brand language and persona, building brand guidelines, setting communication guidelines, drafting marketing collateral, and drafting new website copy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agram Konnect helped us identify our key differentiators, build formats for case studies, prepare a sitemap, and guide our website developer to follow the sitemap. The team delivered finalized brand guidelines, drafted formats for marketing collateral such as brochures, and helped us with new website copy.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Agram Konnect submitted the brand guidelines and brand purpose documents within the timelines. We saw a definite change in our brand presence in terms of look, feel, and communication. It was a step forward from the old, outdated brand visibility we had earlier. Our brand visibility improved in terms of newsletter outreach, going from 0–30%. We also saw more than 50% better engagement on LinkedIn due to the brand language change.

How did Agram Konnect perform from a project management standpoint?

Some projects needed more time as they were input-heavy, and the knowledge transfer assimilation took time. Others were on time. We mainly communicated through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed by their clean work, agile team, and the professional outlook of their founders.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Agram Konnect could have understood the market deeper and suggested more specific visibility channels.

What challenge were you trying to address with Agram Konnect?

We needed support creating interactive videos as part of a customer communication initiative.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agram Konnect has helped us design and produce customer service and process videos. We started by discussing a concept and giving them the initial script, which they helped us refine.

The team creates the storyboard and sends it to us for approval. Basically, once we approve it, they create the animation and do the voiceover recordings. The team provides their own equipment to create the videos.

Moreover, Agram Konnect has helped us explain difficult concepts using AI images. For example, we’ve created a video about the importance of investing early and staying invested for a long time. We’re currently working on creating AI models to communicate customized product videos for our customers.

These videos are meant to be personalized for each customer, so Agram Konnect needs to integrate the customer data on the backend. Overall, the videos last 3–4 minutes.

We started working together around May 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team has delivered the videos, and we've published them on social media like LinkedIn and YouTube. We’ve also embedded the videos Agram Konnect has created in our customer communication via email, mobile app, and website. It's all been done quite seamlessly.

Since we started working with Agram Konnect, our email open rate has increased from 10%–12% to 50%. Moreover, we’ve received good feedback and click rates on the process videos they’ve created. Thanks to these videos, around 100 NRI customers have successfully uploaded their proof of payment.

We're currently working with Agram Konnect on some great new projects.

How did Agram Konnect perform from a project management standpoint?

Agram Konnect meets deadlines, even if they have to work late, and has been very professional. I'm very happy with that. We’ve communicated via email, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams. They always give us options and show us samples.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professionalism is impressive. Moreover, Agram Konnect has a strong team that comes up with innovative options. The team is receptive to feedback and works closely with us to incorporate suggestions.

Agram Konnect has subject matter experts and a great design team that gives us suggestions to improve our ideas. Their work is always better than expected.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve suggested that we start working on the analytics of the videos we’re making. We’re currently discussing the possibility of backing up the personalized AI videos with data and a dashboard to make our communication more intuitive and effective. Agram Konnect is open to the idea and is working on it. We've also been exploring the idea of value-added services.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give Agram Konnect the freedom to create and rely on them. If you give them creative liberty, you’ll be amazed at the quality they turn out. It's easy to get bogged down with prefixed ideas and notions, but the team can surprise you for the better. This way, you'll be happy with the results.

I’m a director and shareholder of Meteoric Biopharmaceutical, a biopharmaceutical ingredients company based in India. We primarily work with enzymes, probiotics, bioactives, and formulations. We export to around 90 countries from India and have another office in the US. We also have two sister companies in India, one for botanical extracts and one for cosmetic ingredients.

We needed support in designing our branding and PR strategy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team has strategized our branding, website requirements, and media relations. Agram Konnect has connected us with a database of all the relevant media involved in the biopharmaceutical arena in India. Agram Konnect has helped us connect with appropriate media and plan articles for print and online media.

Agram Konnect has also organized media meetings and press conferences during product launches and specific announcements. Additionally, the team has created and built the LinkedIn profile for the director and the company. The team has guided us on what content to include and how to engage people on LinkedIn. We only use LinkedIn as a social media platform, so Agram Konnect has strategized the articles and communication that should go from the director’s office and the company page.

Agram Konnect has created press releases, blogs, and corporate videos for the PR activities. The team has also produced two versions of our corporate film and PR packages. Agram Konnect has also secured spots for interviews with different media houses and created our company's tagline, which we later trademarked.

I met Agram Konnect’s founder early in my career and in my previous organization. After I started working with Meteoric Biopharmaceuticals, I contacted Agram Konnect again.

We have a budget of nearly $250,000–$300,000 INR annually.

We've been working together for the last seven years. We started working together in 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our organization’s LinkedIn page is about to hit 10,000 followers, and I give all the credit to Agram Konnect’s team. They’ve guided us through the nitty-gritty of the right content.

Our market is very niche, so Agram Konnect has helped us find the right blend of educational posts, industrial posts, and news and innovations relating to the industry. Moreover, the tagline created by the team has given our company a distinct image because it's unique in the biopharmaceutical Indian industry. This tagline is now our branding across the company and has earned us a lot of customer recognition, and customers find our business sense demonstrated in one line.

How did Agram Konnect perform from a project management standpoint?

Agram Konnect stays on budget most of the time. The project timelines are very specific. We communicate with them in advance, and we work with very tight budgets. However, we also have to face challenges in terms of delivery and project timelines.

We typically communicate via phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings. Since we’re in different cities, we meet in person three to four times a year. We also meet the team during press meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Agram Konnect understands our business very well. Although our product line is very technical, the team has always understood us and made communication easy, even for the media. Agram Konnect's communication and understanding of our business are perfect, and the communication strategy the team designs for us is always on point and gives us good results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’d love to see more innovations in the video production area, such as corporate videos.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate what your brand stands for to any service provider. Clearly communicating your expectations for your organization’s branding and PR will help Agram Konnect achieve goals. In media, you should always set boundaries about whether you want to go beyond certain levels to communicate about your company and the proper timing. If you keep sharing these aspects with any company, it becomes easier to work with them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agram Konnect provided us with a variety of services. The team helped us design our website, corporate brochure, and annual reports. Moreover, one of our businesses was related to microfinance, wherein we provided loans to women entrepreneurs at the bottom of the pyramid. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the central bank gave a moratorium on loan repayments. Agram Konnect created personalized animated videos for our customer base, explaining the moratorium. The videos included the customer’s name, loan amount, and moratorium period. We had more than 20,000 videos created, and we distributed them via SMS and WhatsApp. The videos were hosted by Agram Konnect, and customers could click on a link to see the video.

We tracked the usage of the videos, and customers loved them. We also got an industry-wide award for the initiative.

This was a specific initiative that had to be rolled out quickly, and it was during the COVID-19 pandemic when everything was under lockdown. Even during these times, Agram Konnect delivered on time and on budget, which was phenomenal. We communicated via Zoom, email, and phone calls.

Their creativity and delivery were impressive.

They should increase the breadth of the services they provide.

Trust them with the kind of work you want. Let them be creative, give them your problem statement, and they’ll come up with creative solutions.
