I’m the CEO of Zyal Technologies, a startup in the healthcare space.

What challenge were you trying to address with Agiliti Techpartners?

We were looking to build a mobile app for doctors to get in touch with their patients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agiliti Techpartners developed our MVP. They helped me understand what kind of mobile apps there are. For example, he offered to make a progressive web app, a hybrid app, or a native app for us. We chose to build a progressive web app. 

Their team built the various features of our product. Their team is up to date on the latest technologies, including AWS. They helped us hook up the backend using Cloudflare, Google Services, etc. They went out of their way in providing information and didn’t charge me extra for all of that.

They created our Android app and the accompanying web version completely from scratch. The app allows doctors to log in and view their dashboard. I designed the UI/UX myself in-house but the Agiliti Techpartners team created mockups on Figma for us.

The first phase was done in December 2020 with the first demo. There were a few bugs. Then they built phase two and it ended in March 2021. 

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with the managing director. He had another four people working on the project, including a senior developer, a UI/UX person, a tester, and another person.

How did you come to work with Agiliti Techpartners?

I was introduced to their SEO through a common friend, he came highly referred. After a couple of chats with him and he seemed like a hands-on guy and someone who was looking forward to helping us. I had contacted two other companies as well, but we chose Agiliti Techpartners.

Their CEO had a passion for startups and showed interest in the product itself. He gave me a good quote and was very professional. I felt safest with him so we decided to work together. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2020–March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The product wasn’t meant to be a finished product. It still has some rough edges which another person is working on now. This was exactly what I wanted for the price I was looking for. The end objective was met. They delivered what they promised. I just needed a couple of doctors on it to test it and give me feedback.

How did Agiliti Techpartners perform from a project management standpoint?

Agiliti Techpartners met our deadlines.  We had almost daily calls. Apart from that, we were on WhatsApp messages, Zoom calls. They’re in the same city as us, which makes it easy. I even once went to their office to see their setup.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a professional approach to the work itself.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Once we had a slight communication confusion in terms of the scope of the project itself and I didn’t get what I wanted in phase one. We had to move it to phase two. That only happened once.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate your requirements clearly. They’re pretty hands-on. The managing director is smart and can get all the work done.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a property tax consulting company. We have a large number of accounts we track and protest to reduce the property taxes for our clients. I am the managing partner.

For what projects/services did your company hire Agiliti Techpartners?

All our accounts go through a full cycle every year and previously we were tracking the progress in excel. Agiliti was hired to develop a database we could use online and automate processes.

What were your goals for this project?

The solution had to keep track of a very detailed process of tracking protest and billing. We wanted to clear up bottlenecks in our current process and create some efficiencies using automated solutions.

How did you select this vendor?

I interviewed several companies to develop the database. Agiliti stood out because of their knowledge of databases and understanding of our needs.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Agiliti designed and created a database for us to track our protest our clients accounts from beginning to end.

What was the team composition?

The project team had several members, led by Harsha. Harsha and I would communicate regularly about the status of the project and he was quick to make changes we requested and roll them out by our next conversation.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our time spent on small task has drastically reduced with the automation and efficiencies gained by the online database.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management I could tell was important to Agiliti. We help weekly calls via Skype and Zoho and regularly met goals to keep the project on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Client have direct access to an informed team who also isn't afraid to contribute ideas which benefited our business. Their willingness to totally understand our system was impressive and helped us achieve a better product than originally thought.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is very little improve. Every once in a while we would have to reschedule a call and it was done with notice and the next call was scheduled quickly. A lot of the reschedules came from my end and they were very flexible with meeting times.

I am the director of a tour operating company based in India. We sell packages online, including transport and booking accommodations, cruises, and special products like yoga programs or houseboats.

What challenge were you trying to address with Agiliti Techpartners?

We were getting inquiries asking about the services that we offered, and in order to properly answer them we were having to duplicate work to explain things that already had explanations on our site. We wanted to improve our search system so that we didn’t have to reach out to each one individually.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They serve as our technical consultants for a variety of different services. They started by developing the backend engine of our website and continue to maintain that so that it remains functional and easy to use for our customers.

That included setting up the CRM and integrating all of our existing data, and then connecting it to three user portals and the 27 websites that we operate. They then integrated our tracking features across all of those digital properties.

What was the team composition?

I work directly with Harsha (Managing Partner) for everything that we do.

How did you come to work with Agiliti Techpartners?

I had worked with two pretty big companies before Agiliti, and unfortunately, my experience with them was not good. I lost a decent amount of money, so I knew that I had to look very carefully for a new partner.

One of my friends referred me to them, and when I met with Harsha, it was clear that he had the in-depth knowledge of the software that was necessary for the work, but that he also would be committed to our project, so I knew that I could trust him.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost of the project was a little under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project started around April 2018, and we are continuing to work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The solution that their team was able to provide perfectly suited all of our needs, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with how well it is working now. It has made our work significantly easier and cheaper throughout the entire process of going from a lead to an actual customer.

Spending per lead has reduced by 40%, and we have gained legitimacy in the eyes of western tourists because of the transparency of all of the information about our options that is now available in our booking systems.

How did Agiliti Techpartners perform from a project management standpoint?

We used a dashboard to monitor all of the progress throughout the development process, and we met every few days in order to discuss the challenges they were facing and what our plans were moving forward.

What did you find most impressive about them?

He is incredibly honest about what our possibilities are and how much it will take to develop something. Whenever we start on a project, he comes up with a checklist of our priorities and what it will take to achieve each of them, and then works meticulously through the list from there. I have been thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail and are hoping to work with them on a mobile app as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a very good experience overall. They made it easy to work with them and were empathetic throughout the process, so we don’t have any complaints.
