I’m the CEO of Location Tech, a company providing 3D positioning and messaging for buildings. Our main focus is hospitality communities.

What challenge were you trying to address with Agiletic Law Group?

Agiletic has helped me set up my company as a Delaware corporation as well as to acquire the assets of another company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Agiletic team facilitated a company structuring process, and once that was done, they helped us acquire the entity through an asset purchase agreement. They set up a complete legal corporate structure and framework for us to have a clean company sale.

What is the team composition?

I work with James (Principal).

How did you come to work with Agiletic Law Group?

They were a reference from a well-respected attorney. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $50,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the partnership in October 2020, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

It’s been a clean transaction even if it’s been intense many times. James is the rational voice in the whole transaction. It could’ve gone off the rails many times, but he’s kept us on track. In terms of the investment we spent, there’s no way around spending that much money; it’s either we spend it with someone who’s competent or someone who’s incompetent.

Moreover, the engagement has been good enough that I’ve continued the relationship with them. I’ve had a previous counsel that I was pretty happy with, but Agiletic is somewhat better. I’m pretty loyal to the people I work with, so switching to another partner is a big deal for me. I didn’t have a choice to use Agiletic before, but I do have a choice now, and I’m sticking with them. 

How did Agiletic Law Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been done on time and delivered in the appropriate format. We typically communicated via email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work is professional and accurate. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. I can’t ask them to both go faster than 24 hours and be accurate and appropriate. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Tell them directly what you need. James is a straight shooter, so you can tell him what you need and he’ll tell you if he can do it or not. If it’s outside of his wheelhouse, he can refer you to the right person to help support you.
