My business was struggling with gaining new customers and couldn't simply survive on repeat customers for the long term. This has been difficult because not many agencies could understand our industry and exactly the kind of customer we were looking to reach.

Huntington was able to really grasp how our business works, who our customers were, and create a strategy to target them effectively with our advertising.

Huntington Pacific Media did an in depth learning session with us to really understand the in's and outs of our business. They were able to take that information and even find new pockets of potential customers that hadn't been previously considered.

Huntington Pacific Media built out a lead generation campaign through Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin ads that drove tons of leads right into our landing page for our sales representatives to usher into a booking call for new business

We mainly worked with Jordan who is the director there. He handled all the communications and made sure our needs were met. There were other team members involved as well, but they made it very easy to work cohesively.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our business has drastically increased directly because of the efforts of the Huntington team. We've seen a month over month increase in leads of about 120%, which is now turning into new business revenue. We are more than happy with the results and plan on continuing our partnership with them.

They are super responsive, usually within hours. They also didn't just shove us off onto a junior person to handle our needs. We are always in direct contact with the marketing director and always feel like we can reach out with questions or concerns. They are really easy to work with and go the extra mile to make our job feel easy. No complaints

They work really quickly. Some agencies We've worked with in the past can take weeks to get work done, whereas these guys get stuff done in a matter of days or hours. We feel like they really value my business and want to build a long term working relationship. We never feel like they are trying to "up-sell" me or push services on me that I don't need.

They continue to tune the constant and continuous process of adjusting and improving the elements of the plan to maximize the chances of success.

The Head of Social Media - This person has various roles and duties, but the main responsibilities include being the social spokesperson for my brand, internally and externally. The community manager implements strategies to encourage conversations and engagement, grow your communities, manage your social presence, create engaging content (sometimes with the help of a content creator).

The project manager that we were assigned was very easy to communicate with and exceeds all expectations. Our weekly check-in is always a call I look forward too. Finally, their reporting is clear, diligent and pertinent, ensuring that we continued to build on our wins, and prevent us from investing in areas that did not show a return.

From day one, they began working in earnest to post relevant social media content while simultaneously working on the broader long-term strategy.

In addition to managing all of our social platforms, creating both written and visual content and transforming our social strategy, Huntington Pacific Media initiated and maintained a strong influencer marketing program as well as brand partnership outreach.

Much of this is what we expected but Huntington Pacific Media has something special. They were available on weekends for special campaigns, held regular calls with our marketing team, excel at community moderation, and always had a positive attitude.

From this meeting, Huntington created a plan for my social media. This plan was a way of marketing and advertising my services in large quantities through all social media platforms. This plan had the ability to reach far more audiences then I had been able in the past.

What I found to be most impressive about Huntington Pacific Media was they absolutely stand behind their slogans! "we make you famous" is on their website... I may not be considered "famous," but I sure felt that way! Especially with the business that came from managing and growing my social media.

Things can always be improved upon. If we stop improving then we are not growing. Huntington Pacific also offers phenomenal video and photo production, from what I hear! This may be something I use with them in the future!

We’ve seen positive results across the metrics we track through Sprout, including our amount of followers and our engagement rate. Feedback from customers has shown that the quality of our social media presence has improved since making the switch to Huntington Pacific Media.

Their project management has been fine. They are always quick to respond. Their regular reports and Sprout help us track the effects of their work.

They never followed through on the agreed upon scope of work, providing only excuses as to why the work wasn’t completed. We pulled the plug after 60 days.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Once we signed the contract, we saw little to no work done on their side, and they didn’t answer our calls for weeks on end. We were greatly disappointed. If you value transparency in your marketing group, HPM is not for you.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to convince clients to sign contracts is outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Providing a granular contract with specific repercussions could hold them accountable for the work they say they’ll deliver. Currently, they only offer a one-page scope of work. I advise anyone thinking of working with them to include a refund option in the contract.

Huntington Pacific Media conducted weekly marketing meetings with our team members and their own team. They put together a plan for what to do on social media and through email blasts. They also did some graphic designs.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did a really good job. Huntington Pacific Media was instrumental in creating a marketing plan and getting us working in an organized manner. The short duration of the project wasn't due to their lack of performance; rather it was due to our financial situation. Even though we're no longer using them, they impressed upon us how important planning and organization are for success. 

How did Huntington Pacific Media perform from a project management standpoint? 

My former partner was the one who was overseeing their work. They used the Monday project management program for communication. They were responsive, timely, and proactive. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Jordan, in particular, was so professional. I appreciated that he’s never pushy. A lot of salespeople are aggressive, so it was refreshing that he’s so understanding. It was nice working with him. 

Are there any areas they could improve? 

No. They didn't even know our industry at the start and worked diligently to learn about it. The only reason we let them go was because of issues on our end.

Communicate well and trust them.
