What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, we had a very detailed conversation about my company, my brand, and what I wanted to accomplish. They looked at the analytics of the platforms I’m on — such as my website, Facebook, and Instagram — and then started optimizing my Google My Business account. They gave me tips for my website as well.

Each month, we have a call to review the analytics and how well we’re performing on Google. They provide a report on how everything is doing. If we need to change anything, we do, and as I send them stuff, like photos and information, they update it. The team continues to manage my Google My Business account. All of the advertising they do is organic.

What is the team composition?

I’ve had communication with Lauren (Director of Paid Search). She works more behind the scenes and helps me if I need assistance with billing or things like that. I’ve mainly worked with Terry (Project Manager), who does all of the reports and updates on Google My Business. Recently, I’ve worked with another team member who does the same things as Terry. It’s been pretty consistent.

They actually called me. I really liked their attention to detail and how they explained everything. I also appreciated how they’d involve me in the process and hold me accountable. They were flexible and just really nice. It’s been a pleasure to work with them so far.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m continuing to learn how to read their reports. I’ve had friends search ‘wedding planner near me’ or ‘events near me,’ and, sure enough, my website is coming up on the first couple of pages on Google. I’ve gone from being not visible at all to the second or third and even first pages of Google. I’m seeing my company in more results. 

How did Instaboost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re definitely meeting my expectations. They’re really responsive, and they keep the calls that we have scheduled. They make sure to send me reminders and reports. Every month, I get a call and a report from them. We communicate through email, text, and calls.

One of the things I like about them is that they hold me accountable; I have to provide them with photos and make sure I get reviews in order for them to be successful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really like the whole team in general, Lauren especially; she’s been very flexible with communication. During COVID, she offered me a reduced price for two months, which was super helpful. That flexibility and understanding of my situation are appreciated.

I also really like that as long as I give them what they need, they take care of everything. That’s great for me because I’m always on the go and super busy, so this isn’t something I have time for. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve been wanting to share their work on Instagram. It would be great if they could share a link of tips and things like that. I’ve already talked to Lauren about that.

Any advice for potential customers?

You definitely have to do your part. I learned from Instaboost Media that reviews help Google recognize that you’re reliable, so it’s up to you to get those reviews. Also, send photos and information you want updated so that they can do their thing.

Instaboost first improved our website, which was probably 9–10 years old, to a 2020 model platform. They developed an e-commerce outlet with Shopify that launched last Thursday. Their team’s currently fine-tuning the platform.

We sell a service, not a product, so we face challenges. They’re working with us on strategies to communicate our services. Their team recently started an advertising campaign on Facebook.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

On our ad campaign, we’ve had four-times ROI. That’s a good ROI for an initiative that we were totally naïve about. Instaboost, frankly, hit this project out of the park.

We established the business over the past 30 years with passionate people involved in pet ownership and needed to enter into a new market. Michael’s filled in our knowledge gap.

We have regular Google conferences, and Michael has come to our facility twice. They haven’t missed a beat.

Michael’s passionate about his work, taking on this as a personal project. They essentially solved any problems before we could even articulate the challenge. It’s fulfilling to have a team that owns our problems and solves them.

Their communication’s one of their noteworthy qualities. They know how to communicate, which is the most important part of an engagement. If we need them, they’ll get on Google before we can even blink. That’s very important because we have to handle many other challenges.

I recommend that you focus on learning closing techniques. Their team helps with advertising and marketing but, at the end of the day, a business owner needs to close.

We needed help with digital marketing. Google is overwhelmingly what people use to search, so we needed to make sure that we are showing up and are highlighting our cars.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They have been helping us manage everything related to Google, such as our listings, reviews, replies, highlighting cars, and other things. They have also been helping us with SEO. We worked on that early, going over everything on our website and the right keywords to pick. We talk about it from time to time and tweak it as needed.

What is the team composition?

I just work with one person. I am not sure if she has other people helping her.

How did you come to work with Instaboost Media?

It has been years, and I think they might have just called us. They offered a range of services. Right in the beginning, we had a sales guy and told me everything that they could do for us.

How much have you invested in them?

We spend under $200 a month. I think it did go up at one point, but I can’t remember when. Truthfully, at this point, I finally feel it is worth it. We were close to cutting it out because we didn’t know what it was doing and if it was helping at all.

It has been about 4–5 years.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can now see that it is helping. It is one of the few things where I can actually see that correlation out there in the world of car marketing and advertising.

When I work with our rep and we pick some cars to highlight for a two-week period, we actually do see that all of a sudden, a number of those cars are sold. We haven’t seen that impact from other ad models.

We are getting smaller and smaller because we are getting closer to retirement age and needed to downsize due to COVID-19. We are only going to put our money where we feel it is worth it; there is definitely value to using Instaboost Media.

How did Instaboost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

For the first few years, we had little contact with them. I had to hope and trust that they were doing what they said they were going to do. Ever since we got our new rep, things have been highly organized. We message, call, and email and there is very good communication which I need because I am not great at follow up and she holds my feet to the fire on that.

We set up a next contact day and time roughly every two weeks. I wouldn’t say it is a deadline and more of a meeting via phone or an email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For the first time, I can say that I truly believe in their work. She knows where we are and that we’re trying to lower our expenses. She is doing everything very well and right for us.

The big thing is communication and contact. In the past, other partners sent out a guy to go over things once a month. At first, the only problem with Instaboost Media was that we weren’t receiving emails, calls, or anything. We had to guess whether their work was helping or not. Now, Instaboost Media ensures that we know how things are going.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If you would have called me before we had our new rep, I would have said it would be nice if they could tell me exactly what they do, but now things are very good. She is very clear on our goals.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you get a good rep, trust they know what they are doing. I feel for the first time something that we are actually using in the marketing realm out there, I can actually see those correlated sales. Just take their advice for the most part and unless you feel you know more than they do, which I don’t, let them do what they do.

My company is an art and wellness studio. We offer a variety of do-it-yourself art mediums and drop-in classes. We also host team building and fundraising groups, class field trips, and parties. We provide the instruction and then let people make their own art. It has a lot of healing benefits, and it’s also very inspiring because people get to do it themselves as opposed to just buying something that they like.

I wanted to have a bigger online presence but didn’t know how to get on different platforms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Instaboost Media has helped me with my website and provided SEO services. They make sure that my site has the right content, keywords, and photos so that it’s being seen. 

There were a couple of things that I wanted to make sure linked to my website, and my project manager has been connecting me with his site designers to ensure they’re working together on this. As I expand into a nonprofit on one side of my business, they’re going to help me with that.

What is the team composition?

I’ve been working with Emerson (Project Manager & PPC Specialist, Instaboost Media). He’s been super helpful. Every time I call him, he’s always available. He always returns my emails. I’ve worked with a lot of people who collect your money and then don’t provide any personal service, but Emerson is very attentive. If something comes up, he calls me to talk about it. He doesn’t just let things go, which I appreciate.

How did you come to work with Instaboost Media?

I got a call from Instaboost Media and talked to them about how they’d make sure our site would show up at the very top of search results. I’m still not super privy on everything since I’m not a technology person, but I told them that I wanted to show up in a lot of different search results, whether people were searching for art or group events or parties.

I pay $200 a month for their SEO services and customer support. If I want website work done, I believe it’s $75 a month.

We began working together at the end of 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

Just about a week ago, I was presented with an award for best painting studio where I live. I learned this award wasn’t from nominations, but SEO activities. It’s a very prestigious award in my community because there is a lot of competition in terms of people who have been here a lot longer than I have, so I was very encouraged that we won the award. Whatever Instaboost Media is doing, it’s working.

How did Instaboost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication is really good. Emerson is my main point of contact, but I do talk to other people in the company, like web designers. They’ve always been very good and have gotten back to me. I’m actually very impressed by their accountability, and I appreciate their follow-up. Sometimes I get busy and don’t have time to check in with them, but they always call me to schedule meetings or ask me to send more photos. They’re constantly trying to generate and optimize my business; they’re not just sitting back and waiting for me to come to them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Instaboost Media delivers what they say they’re going to deliver, and that’s not something you see in the industry. They’re worth the money that I’m paying them; I don’t have a large marketing budget, but it’s worth having a quality partner that is putting my business out there in the best way possible.

No, I think they’re doing a great job.

Any advice for potential customers?

They give you a general guideline, and then they tell you what they need. It’s up to you to provide this, but they do constantly check up on you, which is a good thing. They want to make sure you’re staying at the top of search results. If something happens and you’re not ranking there, they try to think of ways you can get there.

I have one main point of contact. Just recently, I started working with Logan (Digital Marketing Project Manager, Instaboost Media).

How did you come to work with Instaboost Media?

I get a lot of calls from people who promise to improve our Google ranking. Instaboost Media reached out and told me that they could get the results we wanted, but I was hesitant because we’d previously worked with two companies that didn’t get those results. However, Instaboost Media said that if we weren’t happy, they’d refund us, but they also assured us that we’d rank on the first page of Google and be able to see a difference.

My company has spent $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have worked together for 9–12 months. We’ve signed a six-month contract and a couple of three-month contracts. I’m very happy with them and am still using their services.

We’ve seen a huge increase in calls from interested clients. Not all of our calls turn into clients, but a lot of them do. My main point of contact at Instaboost Media took the lead. She’s done everything that she promised she would and more, and I cannot believe the difference. In fact, as we’re talking right now, I’m getting calls from interested clients.

Instaboost Mobile got our website moved to the first page of Google, and they’ve posted a lot of posts on Google for us. I’m not even sure what they do on their end to achieve this, but I’ve noticed a drastic increase in business because of it. They’ve been amazing, and I’ve told all my friends about them.

They’ve been excellent across the board. We just started working with Logan, so we don’t have that much experience with him. As for our other point of contact at Instaboost Media, I’ve never worked with anyone in any field that cares as much about her job, performance, and clients. We communicate via phone, text messages, and email. She also sends us reports that show us exactly where our business ranks on Google, how many calls we’re getting, and how many people are visiting our site.

I don’t know how they’ve achieved these results, but they have. I’m amazed at what they’ve done.

I haven’t had to do anything. Our contact at Instaboost Media took the reigns and ran with it, taking care of everything. There are a lot of people that promise results, but in my experience working with other companies, I never saw the results or saw a bit of difference. They didn’t call me or send reports, and it was very disappointing. With Instaboost Media, it’s a whole different ballgame. I’d absolutely tell my friends with businesses to contact them.

Business has really picked up since we started working with them. Our team is pleased with the work because the results speak for themselves. I’m now showing on the first page consistently each day in my local area. We also come up highly for several other cities. I check our standing regularly and couldn’t be happier with the results.

Our account is handled with great care. Our account manager is a real go-getter. Despite our California-Michigan timezone difference, he makes consistent calls and is on the ball with everything. I want to be able to verify and validate his services here because of that. 

We communicate through email, text, and phone calls. It’s really easy to get on the phone with him and schedule calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They listen to us and aren’t afraid to try new things, which really stands out. I keep giving them more work because they keep doing such a great job, our account manager in particular. They’re more attentive and get better results than other companies I’ve worked with. Everything is done in a timely manner, in part because our project manager calls at least bi-weekly to make sure the project is going well.

Our phone rings due to the work that their team does. It took a while for me to see results, but we’re seeing the progress now. We have no desire to stop working with the Instaboost Media team. Once our phone starts ringing, we go to work. We ask our customers about where they found us and they say through our website.

How did Instaboost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent. When they say they’re going to do something, they do it. Whenever I reach out, they respond right away. Our primary contact is timely and hardworking. If he weren’t fantastic, I would be honest. If we have immediate feedback for them through email, they set up an appointment time and call right away. Whenever we’ve had a request, they’ve addressed it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve done their job exceptionally well. Everything they said they were going to do to boost our website, they’ve done. I realize it takes a while to hit the front page of Google, but we’re recording all kinds of feedback and information to make that a reality.

While I would like to be on the first page of search results, they’ve offered different plans and packages for me. In case I want to upgrade, they make all of that information available to me. With them, people can pay the medium instead of the minimum.

If clients have any questions or concerns, address them with Instaboost Media. Ask questions because they will respond and surely help.
