They put together a package for getting me listed on search engines constantly. So far, they’ve advertised my company on 20 or 30 search engines. Their goal is to get me on the first page of Google within 90 days. They’ve also provided a consistent phone number and address that potential clients can reach, which is really helpful because I had a couple of different addresses. This was due to me closing my main office in 2015 and operating in sub-offices since then.

They have been responsive. There were times when I wanted to speak to one person consistently, but it was difficult to do that with them. However, I recently spoke with their web content specialist, who understood exactly what I was talking about and will now be my main point of contact. She sent me a link to set aside time in her calendar so that we can speak about any concerns I have, which is wonderful. It’s always good to have one main point on contact who knows what’s going on.

I feel that their prices are pretty reasonable. I had inquired with a couple of other companies whose fees were way higher compared to Instaboost Media’s. If they do what they say they are going to do for the amount they are charging, I think it’s an extremely good return on investment.

Before starting with Instaboost Media, I received zero site visitors through Google searches. Two months in, I am now up to about 102 people a day. All that Instaboost Media has been doing is working well.

During the 30-day period when they cleaned up my site, I received very few updates from them. They explained that’s somewhat standard for them, but I requested to have more consistent communication going forward, and they’ve been thoroughly accommodating of that request.

I’ve been impressed with their customer service and their level of expertise. I’ve only been with them for two months, but they’re amazing. They’re a small business themselves, so I believe they connect well with other small businesses. They care for their clients.

I would have preferred more information regarding their initial 30-day plan and have it followed up with 60- and 90-day strategies. But that wasn’t a significant concern. Overall, they’ve been spot on.

It can sometimes be difficult for somebody to admit that they need assistance in these areas. It’s important to be open and transparent about your business’ needs.

They’re excellent. The team follows up on all of my questions and requests, and they send pictures to demonstrate their progress. In terms of communication, I’m free to call or text them as necessary. The texting option is extremely beneficial. For example, if I’m installing cameras at a client’s house and an urgent question comes up, I could send them a quick text rather than interrupt the workflow with a phone call. I have nothing negative to say about the team or their services.

Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.

The photos that they posted on our social media accounts are getting a lot of views, and all of our metrics are positive, but Instaboost Media has been terrible at customer service. Our Google My Business account was removed, and Instaboost Media didn’t restore it for months. It also took them a long time to update our company’s address, which was listed incorrectly.

How was project management handled?

We had to make a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get a response from Instaboost Media. Our points of contact were hard to reach, and they didn’t have any contact information on their website. Also, they weren’t transparent about their work, and they sent irregular updates every few months.

Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?

They were inattentive and made several mistakes, but they managed to turn things around quickly after we voiced our concerns.

In what specific areas can they improve?

Instaboost Media should work on being responsive to their clients without being prompted. We want to discuss our account and know where our dollars are going.
