AdlerQA is tasked with delivering manual application testing, automation for testing, and control over the testing design and strategy for an in-house platform comprised of multiple frontend applications and large-scale backend.

AdlerQA has delivered integrated automation for testing across our suite of applications that has increased our testing coverage dramatically and reduced time to test and time to release/delivery for our engineering team.

AdlerQA has excellent project management capabilities and is able to accurately plan and deliver work on track and on budget in line with expectations. They are a pleasure to work with.

AdlerQA is excellent at understanding the value-add they bring to the table and identifying the best approach to balance current needs and quick wins against strategic long-term goals. They can take an objective/outcome that we have and independently identify how to get to that point, plan and execute.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AdlerQA Technologies Pvt. Ltd. could have done differently?

As new members from AdlerQA joined our team over time to support development activities, it took a 1-2 weeks for them to learn and get up to speed with our norms and ways of working. I think AdlerQA could do a bit more prep or overview from existing team members to reduce onboarding friction there, but of course we could also do more in this area to support their new staff joining our team.

What challenge were you trying to address with AdlerQA Technologies Pvt. Ltd.?

We needed help with QA automation for our SaaS offering.

What was the scope of work with AdlerQA Technologies Pvt. Ltd.?

AdlerQA Technologies Pvt. Ltd. provided QA automation for our SaaS offering. We established goals every week and addressed one aspect of the app to automate every couple of days. The team went over all the tests they had automated and engaged in productive Q&A sessions to go over the progress. For every automation, we implemented UI-based automated tests and API-specific tests, which were faster and more comprehensive.

We worked with Kapil (QA Engineer).

I found Puneet (Founder & CEO) on LinkedIn and learned that he ran AdlerQA Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with a team of other QA professionals. He was very knowledgeable about QA and recommended effective tools to automate the process. We would be hiring a team of professionals as opposed to a single one, so there was redundancy.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October–December 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had two primary aspects: a web front and APIs that supported it. Automated regression tests helped us identify issues earlier in the implementation cycle. This cut down on manual testing efforts and covered the app entirely as opposed to selective testing. This improved the overall quality of our SaaS.
