Please describe your company and your position there.

Tri Town Bicycles is a high end bicycle shop and coaching facility for endurance athletes. My role is CEO and founder, and I run general business operations and strategy.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adaptium, and what were your goals?

As we've grown, our daily operations were becoming bogged down, and our employees were becoming less efficient. Digital communications were too restricted and cumbersome. We hired Adaptium to guide us through a process and technology overhaul that included new platforms and custom software.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I connected with Adaptium via a business network. Trust was important for us from the beginning, as we would be providing full access to our digital systems. From the first email to our last correspondence with Adaptium, I was impressed with their professionalism, punctuality, and expertise.

Before any work was started, Adaptium spent a significant amount of time understanding our business model, needs, limitations, and opportunities. Once they had a good grasp of how we operate, they were able to recommend solutions to fit our needs and streamline our business processes.

Throughout this process they also helped us migrate our entire email system to better leverage platform integrations.

We worked directly with David (CEO/Founder) during the discovery phase and while exploring options that would fit our needs. A lead developer was also involved in the delivery of our solution(s).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our goal was not revenue focused. Most importantly, Adaptium identified digital security blind spots within our business, and built long-term solutions to secure our business as we grow. Additionally, Adaptium streamlined our team's communication process, which will help improve staff efficiency.

We used a variety of communication tools, ranging from in-person, to video calls, and email. I was deeply impressed with their ability to identify potential issues or opportunities, recommend solutions, and clarify what action they could take to address these issues.

Additionally, they were very clear on what actions we needed to take to assist them in the implementation of our project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a non-expert in the digital sphere, I was impressed with their ability to explain the pros and cons of various solutions, point out our blind spots, and explain the short and long term costs of taking (or not taking) action on a variety of options. Once a plan was developed, I was impressed with how quickly they implemented our project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am extremely pleased with Adaptium, and I would not have done anything differently.

I am the CEO and Founder of Wayward Kind, a digital marketing agency with a focus growing on purpose driven companies.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adaptium, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a solution to sync our project management software (Teamwork) with an internal reporting structure so team leads would have more visibility into their team's activities and time tracking. Adaptium helped us seamlessly connect these two things and made it very easy for us to get scheduled and accurate reports.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

When we started talking with Adaptium, I thought we may have to change project management tools all together in order to accomplish what we needed to accomplish, but David (founder) assured me that we wouldn't need to do that.

I'm grateful because we've spent years setting up our project management system to our exact specifications and educating both our team and clients on how to work within it. Knowing that we could get the reporting dialed in while also staying with our current technology provider was very welcome news!

To start, David asked me lots of questions about how we use the tools we use, what we love about them, what their limitations are, and so on. We talked about technology, which was useful, but we also talked about the business use for the software. This helped because it made it more tangible and understandable to me as the client. Once David had fully assessed our situation and what would be most useful, he recommended a course of action.

After agreeing on the plan, his team got to work putting it in place. When he sent the solution my way for an initial look, there were just a couple of things that I needed that I didn't know to ask for originally. He helped me refine what I was asking for and further customized the solution so it really worked for our team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've been able to more accurately track employee time and use it to influence budgeting and capacity planning for future projects. In the 6 or so months that we've had this in place, I estimate that we've saved about $20k and we've been able to more accurately bid on larger projects for new clients with more assurance that our cost estimates would be reliable.

We used phone/zoom/email for the initial discovery phase. I liked that I got to talk with David 1:1 and that it was not asynchronous at the beginning. Once development began, communication became asynchronous which was really helpful.

As I've needed updates to the solution over time, I have reached out via a ticketing system that allows me to request updates easily. The entire project was on time and updates, when necessary, are always handled really swiftly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really appreciate the effort put in to understanding the full scope of the problem they are trying to solve before they get underway with development. They helped us save time and money, and the result was exactly what I needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I can think of. I really enjoyed working with the Adaptium team and I would absolutely do so again and refer them to others.

Tower33 is a digital advertising agency that provides management support for paid media campaigns. In my role as CEO I oversee direct client work while also identifying opportunities to improve our process.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adaptium, and what were your goals?

Being able to measure our profit levels on a project, task, and employee level had always been a challenge so we had a concept to build an analytics system that would extend our reporting beyond what the typical systems like Everhour or Harvest were providing - giving us deeper understanding of time usage and profit.

How did you select Adaptium and what were the deciding factors?

David and Adaptium were connections through a common network in the Entrepreneurs Organization and was highly recommended.

I can't speak to the details of technologies, but the process was everything from initial concept of the idea, to the desired end goal metrics, the formulas and data combinations, the visualizations to be used, pretty much everything end to end - taking our vision and working with us to bring it to life.

David and Matt were the primary contacts and people that we interacted with along the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The end goal didn't have a direct ROI focus, it was about increasing visibility in areas we didn't have when beginning. The project was successful in delivering all the metrics we defined at the outset of the project.

David set realistic expectations about the timing. With such a custom solution we had many steps where timing wasn't exactly defined or needed different milestones to be reached before we could define the next. It was always clear about expectations Adaptium delivered on what was set.

Their small feel, high-touch service, and expertise brought to the vision were impressive.
