We wanted a system that allows all our members to login to their dashboard from a mobile app and a desktop panel. The team at Acveti divided the project into 4 different modules. First modules included sign-in of member from SMS/Email OTP, setting up their profile with photo, customizing notifications, etc.

The second module was developed to allow the user to make bookings for our facilities like swimming pool, party hall, guest room, table tennis, badminton court, squash court, etc. These booking are made in real time with backend slot management.

The third module included payments for memberships (annual and quarterly) and other pending dues by integrating payment gateway in our app. The fourth and last module included communication features like raising a support ticket, chat feature, notice board feature, etc.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Oh yes! All our operations were managed using traditional and slow processes. With the app in place, the management, marketing and servicing has become a lot better. We are able to sell twice the number of memberships to our customers by using app as a tool.

Our company has seen an increased growth curve after launching the mobile app. We are receiving more orders and our work is more streamlined now. The app looks stunning with an easy-to-use interface. Integration with Flipkart and Amazon is seamless.

I am the head of business development for Northmount Packaging based in New Delhi. We provide printing and packaging solutions. I'm in charge of bringing in new leads.

Any printing jobs we receive are inserted into the ERP we have in place, and they continue on to production and delivery. The ERP that we had in place was shared hosting, so Acveti helped us with cloud computing and the migration from shared hosting to AWS.

What was the scope of their involvement?

During the migration, Acveti helped us with IT management, including firewalls and security enhancements. It is quite expensive to store all the data we have in the cloud, so Acverti set up simple storage for us. Email backups are also very important, and we keep those on a local server in our factory to keep all of our files secure.

There were also a couple of bugs that we asked Acveti to help with us that were out of the scope of their work. Apart from this specific project, they are our go-to IT agency, taking care of all of the infrastructures we have in place. If anything comes up, they send someone over within two hours. They also maintain our G Suite email and provide some marketing services.

When we started, we were in touch with the owner of the company. After we signed the contract, we were introduced to our account manager. There were 2–3 people that now take care of the IT services.

I joined the company three years ago. After I observed a lot of glitches and shortcomings when it came to the IT infrastructure of the company, I started looking for a company online and found a few vendors.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Previously, uploading and downloading took a lot of time; one job took about an hour, and that time has now decreased by 70%–80% to around about five minutes. Before we hired them and we had shared hosting, we used public plugins on the site and attacks were common. Since we started working with Acveti, there have been no malware attacks or hacking events. Overall, our efficiency has really improved.
How did Acveti perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Slack and email to communicate with them. Their team has been responsive and provided us with immediate online support when needed. If someone is needed onsite, they send a resource over immediately. If there are any problems, we directly contact the CEO, and he'll change resources if needed. Being taken care of like this really makes us feel good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our previous vendor was inconsistent, and we changed them after a few months because they didn’t have any IT infrastructure services. We work with Acveti consistently because of their wide spectrum of services; they have developers who can make changes to our current applications, people to manage the hosting, and people who can manage the hardware. We don’t feel the need to change vendors because we are very satisfied with their work.

I don’t think there is one particular quality that stands out, but there have been no problems. We would like to give them any projects that come along in the future.

I can’t think of anything. I'm leaving this review because I am really happy and satisfied with their services.

The owner of the company is very keen on being kept in the loop. Before you start the project, request a call with him and explain your requirements. Keep him in the loop on Slack and email, even if there is nothing wrong. Acveti's whole team truly tries to satisfy their clients and service them to the best of their capabilities.

We found Acveti on Google search. We had shortlisted 2 other companies. We finalised on them after reviewing the their past work in the Indian real estate sector and the brands they have worked for. Their pricing was not an issue as it was very competitive.

We signed the agreement with Acveti after getting a detailed proposal in respect to the business requirement document. We shared a couple of reference websites with their team to communicate our design preferences. They presented us with wireframes of the proposed website with navigation options and feature list.

Once we finalized on that, Acveti presented us with 3 different home page designs. All options had different color theme, graphics, icons, etc. We wanted a CMS so that our internal team can update blogs and images on it. So, Acveti developed the website on Wordpress with custom built theme. They developed individual webpage for all of our 5 delivered projects which can be navigated directly from the main menu. We got a very clean layout with all the sections as per our brief.

The upcoming project is marketed on the home page with call to action buttons. We wanted to incorporate videos of different project that we got created on respective web pages. They have also integrated our social media pages with it. Contact form is placed on the footer and in contact us page. They have also developed a chat feature on the website for instant customer support. They have also provided project literature/brochures for download directly from the main menu.

We were directly only in touch with our Account Manager. Although we had an escalation matrix with direct contact numbers. The development team included a UI & graphic designer, Wordpress developer and a tester.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The website went live very smoothly. We are running paid ad campaigns and observe 50% increase in web traffic. Also, hundreds of brochures and project literatures are downloaded every month by customers. And now the sales for upcoming project has increased by at least 20 percent.

Our entire project was divided into 4 phases:

4. testing and going live

Timelines were shared in respect to every phase. We had weekly online meetings on Zoom. All changes and inputs were gathered on the project Slack channel. Emails were used only for agreement signing and project completion acknowledgement.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I feel they didn't try to exploit us. For instance, 10 days after finalising the design, we requested for a couple of more functionalities with 3 additional pages which they didn't charge us for. They welcomed changes and rework until we were satisfied.

Not really! Initially we didn't like a few graphics and icons. We spoke with the Account Manager and he changed the dedicated resource for graphic designing.
