We had a in house, AI coded app that we use for daily forecasting and labour optimization. Since we didn't know much about how to safely deploy this, it felt like a fragile solution that could break at any time, even though it was providing so much value. Couple this with the fact that we are hoping to roll this out to our customers as well, we needed to take the security, robustness, and development workflow more formally in order to do this.

We met Perry and showed him what we had built, and he worked with us to advise us on what would be a more robust hosting arcitecture, establish a industry standard login method via clerk, and checked over all of the database architecture to prepare the application for multi-tenancy. Finally, with all of the changes that we decide to make, he helped migrate the application.

Once the new version of the app was online, Perry made sure to check in frequntly to ensure that we were successful with our new development workflow, and that everything was working as it should have been. Were now much more confident in the architecture of the app and are launching it with other tenants with great success.

AI has empowered our team so much to be able to create tooling that automates alot of processes that we used to have, but now we also have the confidence that the tools we are using on a daily basis are robust enough to support our business in the long term.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

We migrated our vibe coded app to a better hosting structure, industry standard development workflow, and increased the user and tenant isolation within the application.

Perry was very responsive and brought back regular feedback and updates on progress throughout the project.

I've been approached by many AI consulting firms over the past couple of months but Perry was one of the few that had an engineering background that gave us the confidence that the final product was going to be done right, and not just more AI-generated fragile foundations.

No we were very happy with thier services.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Abstract Digital to accomplish?

• Get quoting and estimating off the owner's plate. We needed accurate, professional estimates going out fast, without the process bottlenecking on one person.
• Gain real control and visibility over company spending. We were passing personal credit cards around the whole team with no limits and no way to see where money was going, and we needed to fix that.
• Get one clear, real-time picture of the business finances.

How many teammates from Abstract Digital were assigned to this project?

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Abstract Digital came in and built out the systems our business now runs on. They put the right tools in place for estimating and project management, bookkeeping, company spending with proper card limits and accounts payable, and day to day team communication and job site documentation.

On top of that, they custom built a few things specific to how we work: a live dashboard that pulls our financial and project data into one view so we can actually see revenue, costs and margins, an invoice inbox that reads vendor PDFs and updates our product catalog automatically. They handled the whole thing end to end, from figuring out what we needed based on our business operations to implementing it and connecting it all together.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're saving around 20 hours a month on admin and estimating, getting quotes out in about half the time, and we can see the full financial picture of the business in one place.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management was great. They kept things moving, delivered what they said they would when they said they would, and were always quick to respond when we had questions or needed something updated. It felt really natural to work with the team from day 1. They clearly cared about getting it right.

What was your primary form of communication with Abstract Digital?
