I work for one of UK’s largest independent distributors of bathrooms, showers, and plumbing products. We supply retailers and merchants.

What challenge were you trying to address with Abeo Logistics?

We got forced out of our last storage place because they had to release the lease of the place they had. Unfortunately, we did mass buying, so we didn’t have the storage space to cater to all that stock.

SOLUTION

What is the scope of their involvement?

Abeo Logistics is an extension of our warehouse. We need to stock-check both places to ensure the quantities match up in-house and at their warehouse. They have a system to keep an eye on stock levels. They send us a notification when certain stock lines are getting low. We push that to our purchasing team to buy additional goods or look into that particular product.

What is the team composition?

We work with two people from their team.

How did you come to work with Abeo Logistics?

We only had a few weeks to move in, and Abeo Logistics popped up.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’re at £6,000 (approximately $7,200 USD) on the budget. They charge us per pallet that we store in their location or if we need to pick something from there, like a storage fee.

What is the status of the engagement?

We began our partnership in September 2022 and are still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our profile has massively shot up with Brexit; all the prices have skyrocketed, so we’re pretty happy with the level of service we’ve received.

How did Abeo Logistics perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done well. Our point of contact is readily available and responsive at any moment of the day. Moreover, Abeo Logistics’ team is great and understanding. We haven’t had any issues.

We mainly communicate via email and phone calls. They also have an online system to put in orders every week.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love their one-day turnarounds.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could get a bigger warehouse.

Any advice for potential customers?

Trust them; they offer the best storage and warehousing services.
