We embarked on creating an app with 6Degrees IT that fosters parent-teacher collaboration, tracks individual child's learning progression, and provides a customized learning experience. An extensive user research focusing on teachers' and parents' needs was conducted to guide the app's design and features. 

Special attention was given to the teacher and parent interfaces. The teacher interface was designed to provide a step-by-step guide for conducting personalized classes, while the parent interface aimed to turn parental concerns into joy by presenting their child’s learning moments. Thus, every feature was meticulously planned to ensure a valuable user experience, marking a collaborative journey from discovery to deployment.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Mindseed Preschool Learning App is now live and fully functional on both iOS and Android platforms, serving hundreds of parents & teachers daily. We have observed a significant increase in collaboration between parents and teachers, and personalized learning plans have proved beneficial in enhancing the learning experiences of our preschoolers. We have achieved the following results with the app: 

1. We have been able to personalize learning for 20000+ students since the launch of the app 
2. 300+ teachers have been able to deliver a personalized learning experience to students 
3. The app is being used in 40+ preschools 
4. We have seen a considerable improvement in the learning outcomes due to the personalized system

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The website the 6Degrees created looks great and is highly functional. The initial project came in on time and within our budget. The group uses the website as it's main source of information and marketing for events. The revenue the group earns stems mainly from the event advertising done on this website. 
• Another indicator of success is that the members of the group (approximately 40 people) are very engaged in using the member login area. They all have profiles established and use the calendar function to indicate their availability. This is extremely helpful for the leaders of the group when planning events and gigs.

The nonprofit in the US but 6Degrees is primarily in India. We primarily exchanged emails but while they were developing the website, we did do some Skype calls, which was very helpful. Despite the time difference, 6Degrees was always very good about meeting with us during EST business hours, which was very helpful. The project management of our initial project was excellent. 

We provided our requirements and they implemented them fairly easily. They were very clear in asking questions so providing answers was easy. Their technical expertise was excellent. I have worked with 6Degrees on this project and many others over the last 15 years. They have always done great work and have been very easy to work with. When my other clients had website issues, they were able to easily overcome them for a very reasonable price.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

6Degrees technical expertise, particularly when it comes to web development, is excellent. I have had some challenging client requests over the years, for example, with the website, that they have had no trouble implementing. They are great at explaining technical work in a non-technical way, which makes them very easy to work with. Although we are in different countries, there has never been a language barrier of any kind.

Are there any areas for improvement or something 6DegreesIT Pvt. Ltd. could have done differently?

At times over the years, it was a little difficult to pin down the cost for doing business with 6Degrees. Occasionally they would offer a service for a price but it was sometimes unclear what exactly would be included in the service or for how long it would be provided. I would have to clarify that ahead of getting client agreement to pay for the service.

I'm the founder and CEO of a marketing agency. We're in the business of consultancy services, including pharmaceutical, mobile app development, and web development.

We needed to develop a chatbot using machine learning for one of our projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

6DegreesIT developed the chatbot from scratch. The project was based on machine learning; the software had to self-learn. The chatbot’s main function was to assist patients with doctors’ appointments; it could schedule interviews and suggest the diagnostic test required by the patient. Additionally, it could help patients make appointments with diagnostic labs, including X-rays, MRIs, and so on.

All in all, the chatbot served as a virtual doctor. The system would evolve itself, so it’d gradually get wiser.

The chatbot has been live for a week, so we don’t have a user database. However, it works perfectly fine. All the bugs we’ve detected after the delivery have been resolved, and we’re completely satisfied with their work.

They performed well; they worked within the budget and deadlines. Everything was divided into milestones, and they delivered each milestone on time. Communication was typically through Zoom, Skype, and sometimes calls. Additionally, we used Asana for project management.

The reviews from previous clients gave us confidence that they could deliver the project and were strong in machine learning. Moreover, they were professional and had a good team.

After an extensive research we were recommended 6DegreesIt by a friend. We chose them as they were one of the best companies out there (skill wise) in our region, they have a great team which is open to new ideas and adapts very quickly.

We started off with deciding the scope and it took us about 2 weeks to finally come to a conclusion. The development started from the very next day. The development continued for about 6 months and almost all the milestones were met on time.

The team was very supportive and helped with implementation to a great extent. I was in touch with the project manager and the lead developer. They were always prompt with their response and actions.

The site was just perfect and is constantly praised by visitors for the ease of use and the way the event flow is designed.

We used basecamp and skype for communication purpose. We used to get almost daily updates regarding new developments. In case of any changes or delays our team was informed promptly. Our point of contact was the project manager who in turn guided his team members.

Customer focus approach. I am from a non tech background so they took out time to help me understand the server configuration and the wordpress site. More importantly, knowing my background, the team developed backend system which is very easy to use yet very powerful.

They broke down the complex codes into simpler sections so that a layman like me can operate it with ease. For me its things like these which elevate the whole experience.

The process of deciding the scope took longer than expected, but as soon as the development started the delay was taken care of.

The project included creating technical solution, Web design and flow, Development and Maintainance, followed by incremental development post-launch as per evolving needs and consumer feedback.

They also had end to end capability required to execute our project. Along with the technology solution, we also liked the teams ability to think from a user perspective and give good inputs to enhance the user experience. Hence their technology solution, cross functional expertise of the team and a proven record with existing clients is why we selected them

They designed, developed and launched the complete direct to consumer web solution for us. We started with a workshop for requirement gathering and scope finalisation. This was followed by creating agile teams that worked in two parallel sprints. Each agile teams had a UI/UX member, product owner, BA , tester and developers that worked in sprints and to deliver the project. Each sprint started with a storyboarding session, UI UX design, development estimation, feature finalisation, development, testing and finally deployment.

6DegreeIT team was hands on since day one. This meant they understood both technical and business needs. Post contract we were able to go live with the MVP in 70 days, which was incredible. Since then we have a technologically sound and scalable platform and we have been able to introduce multiple new features and cater to different consumer needs with the agile development methodology adopted by the team.

6DegreesIT Pvt. Ltd. has an amazing team that is easy to collaborate with. We got regular updates and also creative approaches to solve business problems in a cost effective manner.
