I am the one in charge of the infrastructure, from architectural solutions, implementation, administration and maintenance.

For what projects/services did your company hire 3sky.dev?

We needed to design a Proxy server to terminate the SSL certificates of our clients that are using our multi-tenant software solution. We hire him to help us architect such system.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

He has been referred to us by one of our network.

First we have to research on the possible solutions, and feasibilities. We architected it in a way that it will fit our current system. Since we are in AWS, we had to use the existing technologies and make it work. We use Global Accelerators, Network Load Balancers, and EC2 instances. We also had to develop a small API application to communicate as a microservice to facilitate request from concerned systems within our platform.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had a meeting with 2 guys, from their team. But on daily basis been working with Kuba.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had lots of challenges along the way, but we managed to make it work. The solution is live now.

It's very effective I should say.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked how committed they were to figuring out a solution to a problem they never encountered before.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think continuous learning is a must for everyone, and it applies to them too.

Jakub joined our internal Slack where everyone on the team could use support. It was a very convenient form of cooperation because it minimized indirect contact between people. Kuba also got access to our servers, which he managed.

As a business person, I didn't have to worry about infrastructure topics. They allow me to save time while feeling secure about the technical environment for the team.

It can be more communication in time of work but in this project when everything is needed ASAP it can trap delivery timelines.

We got a warm introduction to Kuba via our network. He blazed thru our interview process and we had good feeling for hiring him.

Kuba provides ongoing built up and support for all things dev ops for our team. Most of the work is on the internal infrastructure.
