Chainvu is a SAAS provider to food and pharmaceutical supply chains. We sell sensors that are attached to the pallets or totes that contain the goods then provide automated traceability and safety reports live all the way through the chain. I am the CEO

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire 3P Creative Group?

We hired 3P to create an inbound marketing platform for us including social campaigns, our website, and blog content - to explain what we do and gain recognition in our industries.

What were your goals for this project?

The solution was to be the start of a robust, scalable solution for inbound marketing as we grow. Immediate goals were to get us noticed and respected in the food and pharma supply chain and product safety circles - and respected as a powerful, unique solution with a whole new approach and benefits.

How did you select this vendor?

They were recommended to us by one of our Board members. I interviewed them and learned about inbound marketing programs and tools. Even more so, I discussed our unique approach and technology with 3P and they "got it". This gave me great confidence that the could simplify what we are doing and powerfully communicate our solution and benefits.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

In discussion with 3P, we decided on a strategy of leaving our existing web site in place while they focused on building social media programs to drive people to our site. Then we moved to high-value content on blogs to get stickier relationships as well as establish our value to the community. Once I was invited to participate in the World Economic Forum 3P went all out to overhaul our website to attract and communicate clearly with WEF type of people in trade and sustainability

What was the team composition?

Our key interface was Hannah, who served as our account manager as well as chief writer and content lead. She understood fully our target audience and value proposition. She led the design of programs and our web site then managed the 3P creative and development team to deliver.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Key indications of the success of the 3P program for Chainvu

• the Deputy Commissioner of the FDA for food safety and traceability retweeted one of our articles
• a former Deputy Commissioner of the FDA sufficiently understands and appreciates what we are doing to join our advisory board
• Chainvu was invited to participate in the World Economic Forum as one of 50 strati around the world with high potential impact
• I have investors approaching me twice a week

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our 3P account manager interacted with our own company project manger as well as extensively with me. They were very effective in getting across my vision of the company and the benefits of our solution.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our 3P account manager totally understood what was in my mind, and with her own interest in food safety and provenance was able to make my vision come alive. 3P totally overhauled our web sit in 4 weeks.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No areas for improvement. They are stellar!

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am a director and one of the co-owners of Juriba, a software company with about 50 employees. Our Dashworks product helps companies manage large PC migration projects. Most of our customers are large enterprises they need help with things like Windows 7 to 10 upgrades or Office 365 migration. Our product sits in the middle of those programs to help manage and orchestrate readiness and scheduling activities within those organizations. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with 3P Creative Group?

Essentially, we needed professional help to adopt inbound marketing methodologies. At the time, we only had a couple of recent graduates we'd hired who were still learning on the job. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope of our engagement was a bit wider than exclusively inbound marketing. When we first spoke with 3P Creative Group, we were much more interested in taking an overall marketing strategic direction. 

Starting off, we brainstormed how to change our existing website to make it more accessible. Subsequently, we went through several sessions about collateral that would appeal to people who are interested in our products to generate inbound leads. Since then, we've worked together strategically on efforts from monthly blogging to further collateral creation. 

At one point, 3P Creative Group even helped our sales team strategize how to standardize our processes. They provide continuous support with HubSpot, which is the platform that we use for almost everything now. We've relied on their expertise to help us with that system. 

What is the team composition? 

We have one main point of contact. Jeremy (Owner, 3P Creative Group) works with additional people at the backend who we are not exposed to as often. I know someone monitors our website and CSS, while another person manages the blog and editing. 

How did you come to work with 3P Creative Group?

I found 3P Creative Group while researching inbound marketing. They had created collateral that interested me. I organized a session to discuss the free marketing strategy and website review they were offering at the time. 

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we've spent roughly around $200,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We just had our three-year anniversary. We've been working together since September 2015. Our engagement is very much ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team has definitely made an impact on our company. From the blog perspective, 3P Creative Group won a HubSpot Award growth based on a case study of our project. It primarily considered a growing number of hits on a website. Our business has gone from making less than 2.5 million four years ago to hitting our target of 13 million in revenue this year. We've seen a significant amount of growth over the period we've worked together. 

How did 3P Creative Group perform from a project management standpoint?

3P Creative Group is brilliant. We have monthly catch-ups to review what we accomplish in between and then clearly identify what to work on going forward. In the meantime, we track the delivery using Asana and HubSpot project tasks. I couldn't be happier with their project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of 3P Creative Group's work is superb. I haven't seen their level of proactiveness and drive in other companies. They absolutely guide us as much as we lead them, which is a value-add that I appreciate. I can't speak highly enough of them. Meeting 3P Creative Group is the best thing that's happened to our company. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I suppose if their team was larger, they could provide more services than they currently do. At the moment, they specifically focus on our website, blogging, and inbound marketing collateral. I don't necessarily think they should go wider, though, because they're extremely skilled at the work they perform. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Knowing what outcomes you want will ultimately make you much more successful. As with most projects, planning ahead and defining metrics will make it more likely to achieve your desired results than requesting a vendor simply generate more leads. Research what you want to achieve and how you would get with or without 3P Creative Group, and they will help you get there.
