It was an e-commerce application for multiple brands and countries my company is operating.

We wanted a company that deals with full stack both the backend and the frontend. 3e also had great technological knowledge and similar business thinking.

A solution for online ordering products for multiple markets. Backend application written in JAVA that serves API for frontend applications (web, mobile). Frontend applications: react.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have been cooperating with 3e since 2014. Currently, the entire stack includes many microservices. We are able to deliver food to millions of customers annually.

We use agile techniques. We work in 1-month sprints (Development, 3e Tests, Amrest UATs, Deployment). All tasks are discussed in refinement meetings and then put into the backlog sprint in planning meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Technical knowledge on all layers, a very good understanding of our business domain, and an analytical approach to meeting our needs. They have a proactive approach and flexible management that helps with the very dynamic development of our business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We try to solve each of these challenges on an ongoing basis. We work on partnership relations, and we are one team with 3e - that's why we solve all challenges together.

Hence, we had to find another company that could keep supporting the application - We found 3e Software house who were able to take over the project in a short time and had been giving great service quality ever since.

We had put out a tender and a lot of software houses approached us. Out of those we selected 3e.

Application "Transport Management System" helps the company plan and implement ground operations in the EU region. 3e assist us with the development of the application and third-level support.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The application has improved a lot and has made the work more efficient for the users. Even though it's an old application with legacy code - 3e is still able to manage the developement and support of the application. The future plan is to revamp the application for which 3e support will be pivotal.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Over the years we have built a strong relationship. it is effortless to communicate with them. The Project manager is very understanding and has a can-do spirit, which helps us deal with any challenges encountered related to the application. We usually have bi-weekly calls and are in constant contact on MS Teams chat.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their way of working is highly professional, and they keep their promises and deliver on the deadlines. Furthermore, they are easy to communicate with and friendly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing I can say about it, we are very happy with them as our vendor.

Our goal was to be able to develop and implement changes quicker using new technologies and maintaining highest quality.

We heard about 3e from other company, that is working with them. They were presented to us as a reliable and trustworthy partner. Thanks to cooperation with 3e we were able to work out modern methods of maintaining and developing project using new tools (for example Gitlab). Together we expanded the system and introduce many crucial funcionalities for our customers.

The team is responsible for whole production process including analysis, development, code optimization and testing. Thanks to cooperation with 3e we were able to work out modern methods of maintaining and developing project using new tools (for example Gitlab). Together we expanded the system and introduce many crucial funcionalities for our customers.

Throughout a years of cooperation almost 10 people from 3e Software House worked with me. 3 of them were Project Managers, one of them was analyst, and 5 of them were developers.

Thanks to cooperation with 3e we were able to work out modern methods of maintaining and developing project using new tools (for example Gitlab). Together we expanded the system and introduce many crucial funcionalities for our customers.

We worked in agile methodology. Together with PM from 3e we had weekly calls during which we have talked about challenges and ideas in our project. For that purpose, we used Jira and Monday.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was the fact that 3e Software house is such an open-minded company with ability to deliver changes very quickly at the same time emphasizing quality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Probably so, but this is absolutely normal in business partner cooperation. Generally I am very satisfied. Any suggestions or possible objections are always taken into account and we find a joint and satisfactory solution

3e Software House was hired to develop from scratch the front-line system / interface for the individual clients in one of our business lines (i.e. individual pension accounts). The contract also includes maintenance and ongoing development of the application as well as virtual server maintenance.

SOLUTION

How did you select 3e Software House and what were the deciding factors?

Principal factors were experience, external recommendation and short time to delivery.

The steps included: application design, development, testing and release. As a result the apllication was launched and is subject to ongoing mantenance and periodical development of new functionalities. The technology used: initially PHP and Yii framework. Data base: PostgreSQL. The framework was later updated (2020).

There have been usually 3-5 people engaged throughout the project, basically manager, key account representative, software engineers and the analyst.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project has been released on time. The maintenance is subject to SLA and its conditions have been met throughout the project lifetime. The orders for new functionalities or amendments have been implemented in due time.

The project management has been always very efficient, based on the contact with the key account representative, manager and sometimes directly with other employees. The flow of reported items or new orders have been smoothly managed based on the Redmine system, with our access to the system assured. The timlines have always met our expectations.

The service has been always of high quality, including good communication, reliable product, short timelines, proactive approach, transparent valuation of new orders and attention to detail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Based on 8 years experience we rank 3e Software House as consistently one of our best IT service suppliers. We wish others would achieve this standard.
