Admiral Green is a Massachusetts-based cannabis extraction and product manufacturing corporation that utilizes top-tier science and data-driven techniques to deliver the highest quality products to its customers. As Director of Operations & Manufacturing at Admiral Green, I pair my background in Biology/Biotechnology with 4+ years of experience in education to lead and scale all operational procedures per department through data analysis, regulatory compliance, team collaboration, and most importantly, building firm relationships with vendors and customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire 2Bridges Cannabis Design?

Admiral Green received its provisional licenses back in 2021, from there, we hired 2Bridges Cannabis Design to (A) design our cannabis facility (floor plans, equipment selection, etc.) and (B) negotiate costs of services/equipment with vendors to ensure we had the best deal possible while also meeting our budget.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched the web for 2Bridges, and we were confident that given each of its team members' impressive experiences in the cannabis industry, we knew they would take care of us. This created less stress for the ownership team to deal with.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

2Bridges worked collaboratively with our selected architects, MEP/FP engineers, as well as structural engineers to design our manufacturing facility from top to bottom. Each week, 2Bridges and I met to discuss updates regarding assigned action items, potential challenges with the project, and equipment selection that would deliver the best ROI for Admiral Green. Not only did 2Bridges design our facility from start to finish, but they also assisted us in creating our start-up budget costs, projected our post-operational financials, formulated our SOPs and operational practices, and helped us form close relationships with vendors. 2Bridges even took care of ordering our extraction and manufacturing equipment for us (with our approval of course).

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

All 3 CEOs and I worked closely with each and every team member from 2Bridges on a weekly basis. The positions of these team members included the founder, sales and project manager, extraction and retail manager, post-harvest and packaging manager, and other administrative personnel. 2Bridges entire team worked closely with us, ensuring that each project milestone was properly planned, organized, and met our deadlines. I honestly could not have been happier working with this team. I highly recommend other cannabis start-ups to work with this vendor.

Not only did 2Bridges design our facility from start to finish, but they also assisted us in creating our start-up budget costs, projected our post-operational financials, formulated our SOPs and operational practices, and helped us form close relationships with vendors.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between Admiral Green and 2Bridges was more than efficient. 2Bridges never missed a deadline for an assigned task and always planned for the next steps ahead to ensure our project was on track for operational success. Communication between Admiral Green and 2Bridges was outstanding -- if we needed something from them, they would answer us immediately and act fast on whatever it was that was required.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The 2Bridges team has decades of design, production, and retail experience and a passion for the benefits of cannabis. This is something hard to find with other design/consulting companies that exist in this industry today. Each team member brought their own experiences and expertise to the table when something needed to be done. They knew how to tackle every process of our project from the start.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. 2Bridges has done a tremendous job working for us. The Admiral Green team could not have been happier with the decision we made by choosing them as our vendor of choice for this project.

After sight visits 2Bridge worked with us and our architect design our facility. This included everything from room placement for workflow efficiency to lighting, benching, extraction labs, and everything post harvest. They set appointments with numerous vendors in each category and provided additional information/input to assist us in our decisions.

They put together extensive spreadsheets showing plant counts, water usage, and yearly consumables. 2bridge also provided Financial and revenue models with expected outputs. They held weekly meetings not only to discuss progress and go over anything we had questions on but they were willing to teach us and explain everything thoroughly.
