I'm the PR and communications manager for a pharmaceutical company.

What challenge were you trying to address with 24sata?

We hired 24sata to help us promote specific initiatives externally through video marketing campaigns. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

24sata provides us with video production services, both live-action videos and some with animated infographics. We use the videos they produce as marketing materials. For each project, we provide 24sata instructions to inform their processes. Since our industry is heavily regulated, our guidelines are very strict, but we listen to 24sata's input if it fits within the regulations. Once the video is complete, 24sata then promotes the videos on their social media pages because they have a broad reach in our area. Occasionally, 24sata offers other video-related promotional services, but we usually stick to video production. 

The latest project we worked on with 24sata was a marketing video to promote a mobile app. Some of our internal teammates were a part of the video, but 24sata also sources talent for the video shoot. 24sata also promoted the video on their social media sites and helped launch native articles — there were a lot of different elements of the project.

I've worked closely with the project manager, but on the most recent project, I also worked with an additional three teammates from 24sata. 

How did you come to work with 24sata?

We have a very long tradition of working with 24sata. We've always been satisfied with our collaboration, so anytime we work on video production projects, we bring 24sata on board. 

How much have you invested with them?

Our last project with 24sata cost around €15,000 (approximately $16,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

I wasn't in my current role when ​​my company hired 24sata, but I've been working with them since January 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In general, we're satisfied with the results we get from our partnership with 24sata. The success metrics from each campaign are very good. We average 80,000–100,000 views on the videos 24sata posts for us on their platform. We also get metrics from 24sata through Google Data Studio with links to the project elements we work on. 

We haven't really measured the impact of their work on our business, but we did measure the number of applications we received from one project last year. We did get a lot of applications, so obviously, that project engaged a large number of individuals. 

How did 24sata perform from a project management standpoint?

24sata has good project management. While my team does have issues with deadlines because getting approvals is very difficult in our industry, 24sata always waits for us. Typically, we communicate through emails and phone calls. We also get metrics from 24sata through Google Data Studio with links to the project elements we work on. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

24sata is very easy to engage with. They're accessible and quick to provide feedback on whatever we're currently working on. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

24sata could be a bit more creative in their videos — when I look at other videos on their social media accounts, everything looks similar. I'd appreciate it if 24sata gave projects a little more of a creative, personalized touch. A lot of the visuals 24sata delivers are copied from other projects, and we have to specifically ask for animated infographics.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise customers to give 24sata clear instructions on what they want from the start. Projects can go in a different direction than customers expect if 24sata doesn't know exactly what they want.

For what projects/services did your company hire 24sata - Original Video Production?

We wanted to create an education type of content that is light and funny for the viewers - since our products and complexed, as well as the technology behind them, it was a challenge for us to educate customers in the old fashion ways.

We needed something catchier and more appealing - therefore we decided to flirt with Live streaming with our very own FOREO employees, and this is where 24sata Oriđiđi production jumped in and made our lives easier.

SOLUTION

How did you select 24sata - Original Video Production and what were the deciding factors?

We heard about 24sata spreading their branch of expertise in video production and we needed someone who is an expert in Live sessions and has a big suitable studio for our product presentations. The choice was quite self-explanatory.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After the kick off meeting, they lead us through the production process and made sure we have everything aligned on time. This type of project, requires a lot of planning ahead and with our tight deadlines, it was quite a challenge and a learning curve at the same time for both sides to execute more than 10 live streams in a few days.

We had ups and downs but at the very end we were super satisfied with the results overall

How many resources from the 24sata - Original Video Production team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project team was big enough to be able to support us. We had 2 Creative producers dedicated to our project, and a bunch of Specialists from the SM realm.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While the codes were active during Live streams we have noticed the increase in our average order value on our .com for nearly 30%! We were also happy with the revenue generated from this project but even more important, visibility we got and how we reached out to our audiences and showed then how our products and technology work

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had a weekly meetings on top of daily emails throughout the week while the project was being planned

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their hands-on approach, can-do attitude, and overall flexibility were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had some challenges trying to make sure that everything we do , we do from the global perspective, as we are a global brand and the project was live on more than 80+ markets, but we overcame this really fast together and adapted.

I'm a Senior Account Manager. I lead a team of 5 people and or job is to be a contact for all the client's needs toward the agency. I also work as the lead and co-funder of SoMo Borac project, the most important digital award in South-Eastern Europe.

For what projects/services did your company hire 24sata - Original Video Production, and what were your goals?

Until 2020. the award ceremony was happening live, on Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj. But because od covid-19 we had to move it online. In 2021. we decided it needed to be very professional as it is it second year online and the best it can be - so we decided to work with 24hours/JoomBoos.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for a video production company that can meet all our needs - great studio space, experience with similar projects, easy to work with.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We started with a discovery meeting, we had to figure out our exact needs and wants as we did not have a lot of experience. Luckily the 24hour team did and they guided us through the project. We worked on the storyboard and had meetings where we would test in the studio everything we did (design, talking points, storyboard,..).

When we finished preparations of visuals and finished script we started having testings with the host and whole production team. We tested all the lighting, cameras, and live calls we had to have with award winners.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked mostly with creative video producer, Rujana, who was keeping us on schedule and reminding us of the next steps. She would then go through our feedback with the whole team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had great feedback from agencies that were in the contest and from the jury of the whole award. Also, the number of viewers increased since 2020.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We mostly communicated through email and we saw each other when we needed to test anything in the studio. Often they would send us videos and photos so we can see how something will/would look. Everything was always on time and we would agree beforehand.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had previous experience with similar projects so they were able to suggest improvements. The entire team was really calm, direct, and friendly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

i don't have and suggestions of that kind.

Please describe your company and your position there.

Public Relations for the European Parliament in Croatia - I work on communication and social media campaigns, with stakeholders and partners, on project development, budgeting and implementation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire 24sata - Original Video Production, and what were your goals?

European Parliament hired 24sata to create and deliver an awareness-raising campaign #thistimeimvoting about European Elections 2019 and to inform the young population about all possibilities which membership in the European Union brings. The key message to deliver to youth target audiences was to go out and vote because their voice matters - and to illustrate why that is so.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The idea behind hiring 24sata was that to Generation Z first-time voters ideas about the EU have to be transmitted via new platforms – primarily YouTube and Instagram. 24sata's audience which acts on influencers' recommendations and this was particularly interesting when hiring 24sata.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

The concept of the Live Quiz Videos (Znaš il' padaš) was for contestants to answer inaccurately or fail a challenge and be thrown out from the competition in a humorous way, falling into a platform specially designed for this format. The questions were about benefits of EU membership and the role of the European Parliament. For the second part of the project - JoomBoos Eurotrip Video, the format was a combination between a road trip and a treasure hunt in European cities. In every city JoomBoos influencers visited other local influencers to talk about living in the EU and benefiting from it.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

European Parliament worked with project leader, but also had excellent communication with assistants on the project and with influencers directly. Feedback given to 24sata was always taken into consideration and included in the project constructively.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

10 live episodes and one extra video episode gathered 648,271 views on JoomBoos YouTube channel. Total audience engagement on Live Quiz videos was 143.402, with a maximum number of engagement in episode seven: ‘Prvi put vodimo emisiju kao par, Epizoda 7’, in the total of more than 24.563 engagements in just one hour. On 24sata.hr and JoomBoos.hr EU-related articles were published to mobilise audiences around #thistimeimvoting.

The most-read article had more than 80.000 views, with 6.300 readers per article. On Instagram stories, more than 5 Influencers per video episode were activated to share images and videos related to Live Quiz. A maximum number of people reached was 2.223.633, with a number of 363.813 viewers reached for the most viewed episode. 11 feed posts were published on JoomBoos Instagram with the hashtag #ovajputglasam and with total engagement of 87,590.

These numbers show the overall numbers of (mostly young) persons reached - which are impressive figures for a small market such as Croatia.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Project management was very good - all persons included in the communications process were operative (and cooperative), delivering on time and in a precise manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The reach of the content created - in the course of the project, most of the young audiences in the country were probably reached by the #thistimeimvoting campaign, according to the scope of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Had the project lasted longer, some topics could have been tackled in a more serious manner by influencers participating in the project.

I’m the CEO of a Slovenian media company. We have a few online portals in our portfolio, and we started two and a half years ago. We’re ranking 3rd–5th with users in the country.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with 24sata - Original Video Production?

We had an external customer that was trying to reach a young demographic of up to 24 years. We decided to go with YouTube, and we identified 24sata as a good partner for this.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

24sata developed a brand and a video series. Based on which we signed a three-year contract with our external client. 24sata also made a marketing and communication plan. Moreover, they designed a logo, and they worked on SEO.

What is the team composition?

Our main contacts are Matej (Director of Video Operations) and Anela (Executive Video Editor). We’ve also worked with a producer and with the rest of the team, including cameramen and editors.

How did you come to work with 24sata - Original Video Production?

We saw them as the only relevant regional player able to produce videos at the level we required. Our third-party customer was a big corporation, and we didn’t want to be dependent on one-to-one relationships with YouTubers. Above all, 24sata was the only team able to offer a broader choice of influencers.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested €450,000 (approximately $542,000 USD) in the project. 24sata has a big part in our total investment, but it’s not the total cost that they've received from us.

What is the status of this engagement?

The pitch was in September 2019, we were in production until the end of that year. Then, we launched the brand in early February 2020. The collaboration isn’t as intense now, but 24sata is still the major partner for this project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We keep basic KPIs with the customers, including subscribers, engagement, and views. Recently, we’re looking more at SEO targets and 24sata has overachieved on all KPIs. They’ve met our yearly targets in the first three months.

How did 24sata - Original Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

24sata works on a professional level. Furthermore, they share knowledge really well, and they engage in direct communication with our third-party customer in cases where we’re not able to translate the information. Overall, it’s been an intense collaboration on all levels.

What did you find most impressive about them?

24sata is a trustworthy and down-to-earth team. Anyone collaborating with them should keep this in mind and try to not overcomplicate things. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had no knowledge about this kind of job, so it’s hard to say.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

When starting something like this, especially from scratch, there’ll be a lot of opinions from the people involved. In our case, the course set by 24sata in the beginning was the right one. They always choose the right target and the right approach. My advice for anyone looking to work with them is to give 24sata their full trust.
