I am the owner of a pharmacy and we opened a new community pharmacy in Edmonton.

We were opening a new pharmacy and medical clinic and required a logo to represent our brand and company. We contacted Eric and 12 Creative to pitch our ideas of our concept.

I knew Eric from previous encounters in the industry of marketing, advertising, and promotion.

Once the logo was created we began work on presenting it on signs, flyers, business cards, merchandise, and the website. We previewed and launched online social media (Instagram, Facebook) and initiated a website launch.

We worked mainly with Eric but also worked with Kurt and Stephanie to finalize our designs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The Instagram previews, logo designs, and website designs were all completed professionally and were successful in launching our brand and our new company.

Effective workflow, fast turnaround for updates, processing, and fixing small details.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a great team and a really long list of impressive clients that we wanted to join for help with marketing, branding, and presenting our new logo.

From start to finish they have provided us with a logo to match the strength of our brand and we are able to present our company with confidence.

We needed someone to manage our social media accounts for us, handling our posting schedule to creating paid social ads. Our goal was to increase our audience engagement to Instagram, attract new followers, and promote our shopping centre to the community.

Our property now has a significant following and the community has provided very positive feedback on the properties incentives and promotions.

The team is really great and SUPER easy to work with, they make our jobs easy and make us look good so what more can you want!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team is filled with young go getters that just get it. They get the market and always bring in vibrant creative ideas to switch up the status quo. 10/10 would recommend 12 Creative.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We want to 12 Creative to take over all our projects, but they are so good our competitors wanted them too. We just want them to be exclusive with us, but we completely understand this is not an option.

ONE Properties is focused on creating value through the acquisition, development and management of industrial, residential, retail, office and mixed-use properties in progressive markets. ONE develops and manages a shopping centre called Emerald Hills Centre.

Emerald Hills Centre is a landmark retail centre featuring 75 acres in Strathcona County’s Sherwood Park, an affluent bedroom community located 15 kilometres east of Edmonton. T

he shopping centre is Sherwood Park's largest and most successful open-air shopping destination and features over 50 tenants including local and national brands. Emerald Hills Centre's anchor tenants include Walmart Supercentre, Canadian Tire, Lowe’s, Sport Chek, Winners, Marshalls and Old Navy.

ONE initially engaged and hired 12 Creative to put together a social media plan and calendar. We were very impressed by their services that they also put together revised branding for the shopping centre that is now executed across advertisements, website and social media.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal is to increase online awareness and drive traffic to the centre and its portfolio of tenants.

ONE did a Google search on local agencies that had digital marketing experience. 12 Creative put together an impressive portfolio and response to our request and really liked the creative and work they did for their previous clients.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've seen a significant increase in engagement in our posts on Facebook and Instagram.

Our internal team involved with the shopping centre (i.e. property management and retail leasing) were pleased with the revised branding.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Pretty effective. We have a clear line of communication throughout and we have worked out a solution that worked best for both parties for monthly social media posting calendars and other required marketing/branding items for social media and website.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're a young, entrepreneurial team with a refreshing outlook. They also had ideas on how to improve our shopping centre's brand and marketing right out of the gate.

We have grown the practice from scratch (zero patients) to over 2000 active patients in less than 3 years. Revenue has also risen dramatically in a short span of time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very good.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Progressive nature. Willing to try different and new aspects of marketing. Identifying our target market and developing specific campaigns to activate these markets. Willingness to work with our budget to extract the most value per dollar. The Team is focused on developing and promoting the local business community.

Are there any areas for improvement?

If anything, more delegation of tasks from the CEO & Team's leader - he takes on a lot of the responsibility for minor tasks.

Have been working with them for over a year on a variety of other collateral projects, very happy with the results.

This will revolutionize the way our company is perceived in the market, allowing easier access to challenging markets such as aerospace and military.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Excellent results. Quality, responsiveness and speed exceeded expectations. Worked with us instead of telling us how it should be. Humble and creative group, love these guys!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Overall responsiveness is exceptional and rarely offered in a creative organization. Collaboration is nice to see as well, as typically creative vendors get invested in their work and struggle to respond to client feedback.

None to offer at this point, very pleased with the result.

I’m a senior advisor and part of the marketing communications team at a utility company. My division distributes natural gas to homes in Alberta.

What was the scope of their involvement?

12 Creative helped me with a safety campaign for two years in a row now. They booked the ads for me on social media and on Google. The team also suggested using Instagram influencers to market our safety message. They also thought of target markets that I hadn’t thought of before.

I work with three people from their team.

I had some friends who had positive experiences working with 12 Creative so I thought I’d give them a try.

We’ve spent $40,000–$50,000 per project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2018, and we wrapped up in November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality of work was really high. I love the ideas that they provided when we were sitting around the table thinking of how to execute the project. The team did a really good job and followed directions well. Originally, the creative they designed wasn’t part of our brand. After we talked to the team about that, they switched directions and it was great.

How did 12 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

12 Creative performs really well. They kept everything on track and followed up with me whenever the ball was in my court to pass them some information, feedback, or approval. The team was very good at responding.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The creative minds behind 12 Creative are the best part. One of their ideas we decided to go with turned out really well. I really appreciate having a different perspective in making sure we’re taking the right approach with our messaging.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They delivered everything with the campaign really and were good at taking feedback. Overall, 12 Creative was really great to work with, so I don’t think I have any areas of improvement for them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to listen to their ideas since they’re really great. The team is just easy to work with.

Kimberley Homes is a residential real estate developer. Products include townhomes, duplexes and custom homes ranging from $450,000 - $3,000,000 +. My position is sales and marketing working closely with 12 Creative to develop and execute our digital and traditional marketing efforts.

We were looking to rebrand and build a new website. Our current branding did not capture our vision or mission when it came to the homebuilding experience we provided and the demographics we aimed to serve. We also required ongoing assistance in developing and managing our targeted ad campaigns, social media and other aspects of digital marketing.

What were your goals for this project?

To design a look and feel that was representative of who we are as a company in order to capture more than our fair share of the market and stay ahead of our competition in the housing world.

How did you select this vendor?

We were looking for a small agency that would dedicate time to our team and have the resources we needed for the types of projects we wanted to execute. We had previously been with a large agency that was industry specific but found we did not have the hands on, day-to-day assistance we required. We only seriously considered 1 other company.

Worked closely on developing a brand guide prior to website development. Executed a brand new website that immediately saw higher conversion rates. Continuous support from website maintenance to digital ad strategy to content design. Biweekly team meetings to align on tasks at hand and priorities.
