I’m an executive at Fytted, a consumer app that empowers users to shop with confidence via AI measurement technology that makes it easy to find the right fit. We’re also using the underlying technology to build enterprise tools for entertainment companies.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with NotTooMuch?

We wanted to use the technology we built for the Fytted app and repurpose it for an enterprise tool.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NotTooMuch has taken a holistic approach to helping us design an enterprise software platform. Honestly, the deliverables have been a moving target. At times, we’ve needed to think through our strategies before doing any actual design. Other times, we’ve had clearer ideas and could move on to a more traditional design process, including Figma files. NotTooMuch has been flexible, patient, and enthusiastic.They’ve touched every part of the product. They’ve helped strategize an MVP, design flows for onboarding, creative tools, project management tools, and a unique data exchange request tool.

We work with 2–5 teammates from NotTooMuch.

How did you come to work with NotTooMuch?

We know Daniel from his time with another design firm. NotTooMuch presented what they could offer us, and it seemed different from other design firms. They wanted to assist in design from a holistic approach.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in October 2025, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been testing the designs with UX research, and we’ve measured their success with those results. So far, their designs have yielded positive results. The MVP and risk assessment workshops have been very helpful in that they’ve illuminated blind spots we were unaware of.Generally, testers have felt that the UI was clear and that the tools were easy to use and understand.

How did NotTooMuch perform from a project management standpoint?

NotTooMuch’s project management is great. Again, they’re patient, flexible, enthusiastic, and helpful beyond their mandate. I can’t recall them ever asking for more time or missing any specific delivery. We communicate via virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NotTooMuch’s ability to communicate clearly and efficiently is impressive. Their drive and ability to place every decision in the right context are also great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

NotTooMuch successfully migrated 1,000,000 users.

NotTooMuch’s project management was good. They delivered on time. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

I was impressed by NotTooMuch’s execution speed, problem-solving skills, and user journey creative suggestions.

They could improve their communication regarding delays.

I’m a senior product manager at Vogo, a travel platform that aggregates hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals worldwide. We use proprietary technology to help travelers easily find and book the best accommodation deals.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire NotTooMuch to accomplish for Vogo?

We hired NotTooMuch to lead the UX design for Vogo's zero-to-one native mobile app. The goal was to design the app experience from end to end, introducing a modern and premium feel that would work for iOS and Android without sacrifice.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NotTooMuch conducted competitor research and worked on understanding the current web experience. The team was responsible for modular UX design, creating an icon library, and producing design specs. NotTooMuch also created development-ready design files to be used by our engineering team.

NotTooMuch was referred to me.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January to May 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

NotTooMuch delivered development-ready design files and end-to-end feature sets. The team also incorporated feedback at various review cycles. Although the feedback was generally positive, we felt some features were copied directly from our website and felt more like a mobile web experience than a native app experience. The creativity and wow factor were not there.

How did NotTooMuch perform from a project management standpoint?

Some requests were not delivered as timely as we would have wanted, but that was primarily due to time zone differences. Meeting and turnaround times were limited. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

I appreciated the competitor research and how NotTooMuch provided industry standards and best practices when certain design choices were questioned.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The designs were iOS-forward. No attention was given to Android devices, and we were told to use Android-native components, which significantly impacted the UX quality. We had to request design support for Android after development started, after discovering the designs would not work on Android devices.

We needed help designing a large new feature for our AI-powered CRM.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NotTooMuch designed and created the UX of a new AI-powered floor plan, including onboarding, edit mode, operational mode, table states, and other flows.

We previously worked with NotTooMuch in another company. When they approached us and we were in need, we decided to work with them since we had worked with several people on their team prior.
