For what projects/services did your company hire YEG Digital?
We really wanted to refocus ourselves. Our product line wasn't consistent & we found ourselves not knowing what our identity in the market place was & should be. We asked their help in getting us focused and how to proceed with upcoming product launches.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to have a strategic plan and outline for releasing new products as well as what our social media content should focus on.

How did you select YEG Digital?
I met Paul at a BBQ event and found his passion to learn new things about BBQ and knowledge of marketing to be thought provoking and almost the target demographic for clients I was looking for. It made sense to look at their company as the knowledge he showed about marketing made me confident in hiring YEGDIGITAL.

Members of the YEGDIGITAL team sat down with me multiple times to discuss what my business was doing. We covered what has worked, what hasn't & what they suggested we change. They gave me hard data on what I was doing right & wrong as well as a great simplistic view as to how I should look at my my past, current & upcoming marketing and retail strategies.
What was the team composition?
While I mainly worked with Paul, there was/is a mix of other staff joining us. Being as Paul is personally interested in BBQ, the third person has given me a perspective from someone with "BBQ blinders" on. The person outside of our BBQ bubble often has a way to compare ideas to products in different markets.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Working with YEGDIGITAL has left me feeling prepared for the future. It has helped me to see the bigger picture and not focus on "not making mistakes." I believe their input on how we deal with social media has already helped us gain and keep our followers engaged but has left me with a strategy to keep attracting new followers. The help with the retail strategy has given me confidence and structure that is already showing results & will undoubtably continue.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I find that I often try to do things too fast and when the time is right, they keep up with me but also they are helpful in "reigning me in" when I fall back into old habits.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Working with my abilities. I'm of an age where I use the internet and online shopping steadily but as a retailer I don't always understand why companies do the things they do. YEGDIGITAL has been a translator of sorts; converting why I buy the way I do into why I should do certain things to sell certain ways. They've helped me bridge the gap between the generation I am & the generations that my customers are/may be.

5onFriday.live was a very basic WordPress site that need an overhaul. It was missing overall branding and provided little value to someone visiting.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a very user friendly interface that would allow our team to update the site without a technical background.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
After reviewing vendors with WordPress experience and knowledge I reached out to YEG Digital and hear back quickly. They explained how they had implemented a similar toolset for other customers to allow them to update and manage their WordPress site.
