1. Analysis of the website: WiserBrand did a thorough analysis of our client's website to identify all the modules that needed to be transferred from Magento 1 to Magento 2.
2. Migration of data: WB ensured that each module's data was migrated correctly to the new platform. They found analogs for Magento 2 and made sure that all the previous site's features worked fine.
3. Optimization of the admin panel: WiserBrand optimized the admin panel which resulted in a huge improvement in the loading time of the website.
4. Design: delivered a modern, user-friendly design for the website, creating an engaging virtual experience for the shop customers.

On both projects, our main contact point from the WiserBrand site is the Account Manager, she covers our needs and plans activities. Thus, we enhanced our existing teams with the following specialists:

• Angular/Three.js /a Node.js engineer to help with the full-stack development, including server, CI pipelines/deployment, and database-related tasks, whose main focus is front-end and UI/UX. The hired expert took part in web application development. The app allows users to manage, visualize and annotate 2D/3D object models, point clouds, and photospheres. The app can be used, for example, for effective tracking of building construction progress by representation of real objects on site as their digital twins.
• QA Engineer for functionality testing and design for Web/Desktop and Android/iOS mobile phones, crypto platform testing, testing (iOS, Android, Web) with dev and other tools. The specialist was responsible for functional manual testing of client-server applications (iOS, Android, Web). QA Engineer developed and updated test documentation and test cases, application and game manual testing using Xcode simulator and Android studio, keeping the documentation up to date. The WiserBrand specialist also worked on transforming a legacy web portal and online store into a full-fledged B2C and B2B eCommerce solution, and integrated the current ERP system with 4000 SKUs into the platform using microservices.

We first discussed our project with the account manager, going over the key skills we were looking for. Based on that, they shortlisted several candidates for us to interview. We gave each of them a technical task to evaluate their skills and hired 2 senior software developers.

DeviQA is all about quality assurance. That’s our focus, and we don’t intend on changing it any time soon. But testing goes hand in hand with development, therefore we've always had a need for development outsourcing. WiserBrand has been able to satisfy our development needs and complete a number of web and mobile applications within the requested timelines. They've also been able to cooperate with our project managers and quality assurance specialists, which definitely gives us more structure and boosts the effectiveness of our work.

The team structure depends on the complexity of the applications WiserBrand develops. Dev teams can include from 2–6 people, and if the product required further marketing services, it was taken care of by 1–2 online marketing experts from WiserBrand (SEO and SMM). Our applications frequently get 5-star ratings and gathered positive feedback from the clients. Also, the development costs were often lower than the estimate suggested first.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project managers and team leads are quite pleasant to work with. Their development process organization allows us to stay hands-on with the product and make sure that our requirements and suggestions are being tended to. We communicate at least once a week to discuss the progress of the projects, review demos, or confirm plans for the next sprints. We're also able to call project managers or chat on Skype whenever it's urgent. Overall, we've always felt like their established workflow make them as effective as possible.

WiserBrand’s team has been performing a number of tasks for us, and we’d like to highlight just a few. First, they conducted a usability audit of our website. Then, they set tasks to our developers to improve the usability of the site and make it more conversion-oriented. They monitored (and keep monitoring) the performance of our developers. They’ve also set up and now manage PPC and SEO campaigns, part of which was writing a quality control script.

We saw positive results soon after the start of the project. After the first two months of our partnership, we noticed significant growth in traffic and conversions, and thus, sales. Now, we continue to observe a steady growth of traffic and our organic ranking by keywords. From the beginning of 2019, we also started working with WiserBrand on online promotion of our second brand – a Swiss restaurant.
