Webview's project management is amazing. From the first day of communication until now, everything has been going smoothly and professionally. In addition, they're always ready to attend to our requests whenever we need any help or want something changed on the website or content. Moreover, they always ask for permission before they do anything or make small changes — they're all-around impressive.

Regarding tools and communication, we use Google Meet, phone, and email. Additionally, they're local, so we can meet them face-to-face whenever we want.

Webview has helped us design and develop our website from scratch. Initially, we went through various meetings to talk about the design and what they could do for us. I also provided them with a design I had prepared for them on Canva to explain how I wanted the site to look.

Webview then sent us a few design examples, and we looked at other websites from competitors. Throughout this process, we gave them some suggestions, and they started working on the UX design based on our input using Figma. Once we approved Webview’s designs, they started working on developing the website in WordPress. It took them around 15–20 days to complete the project.

Now, Webview is helping us with marketing and SEO so that clients can find our site on the first page of Google search results. Additionally, they provide us with maintenance services.

As for its features, the website is simple and colorful. Given that we’re a beauty salon, we requested a pink and red color mix. On the site, clients can book appointments and find our contact information.

The website that Webview has delivered is nice, easy to use, and works fine — we haven’t experienced any issues. As a result of their work, we’ve seen a 20%–25% increase in our website traffic and phone calls. Additionally, we’re ranking on the first page of Google search results, so we’re very happy with that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webview helped us design and develop our WooCommerce website. Initially, we had a couple of meetings and decided to go through the design part of the process first. During this stage, we provided them with some designs to show them what we wanted to achieve, and they worked around those designs.

Then, Webview prepared a wireframe for us to give us an idea of how the website would look and created some graphic designs. We also provided them with product images and product information for them to implement on the site. After completing the design phase, their team was in charge of the entire development process using WooCommerce as the e-commerce platform for the site.

As for the website’s features, we provided Webview with a competitor’s website that we really liked to show them some of the features we needed. These features included a quick checkout where customers can add products to their cart and buy them easily, keeping the process as simple as possible.

Moreover, Webview implemented a login feature for users to create an account on our website. Thus, they have both options: purchasing as a guest or as a registered user. As for the payment gateway, Webview set up Stripe.

In addition to e-commerce design and development, Webview also helped us with social media marketing (SMM). Their scope included running Facebook Ads campaigns for us to announce the launch of our website in Melbourne and Sydney for 5–6 months. Their team was in charge of designing the content, writing the copy, and defining the hashtags.

We worked together from July–December 2022. The e-commerce development project took about three months, after which they continued with the Facebook Ads. However, we had to pause our engagement, but we might work with them again in April or May 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re very happy with our new site, and we’re getting a lot of sales through it. Additionally, users have provided us with very good feedback. Although it’s early to judge the project’s success, we’ve seen very positive results thus far. Webview also provided us with a report on the Facebook campaigns, and we saw very numbers regarding engagement and likes, which was impressive.

How did Webview perform from a project management standpoint?

From the start, Webview told us that the e-commerce development project would take 72–90 days to complete, and they delivered it within three months, so everything was on time. We didn’t experience any delays or communication issues, so our collaboration was very nice, as we wanted.

We had a weekly Zoom meeting to go through the project and share screens. Additionally, we communicated via phone calls and email. Webview suggested using Slack, but we didn’t need it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Webview’s cost and quality service were outstanding. Other companies I contacted charged between $20,000–$30,000 AUD (approximately $13,000–$20,000 USD) for a website like ours, which was a lot of money. Webview’s prices even allowed us to save money on our SMM.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not a technical person, so maybe a technical person could have pointed out areas of opportunity for Webview. For me, everything was great. Now, we have plans for other projects together in the future.
