We communicate with them through a ticketing system, but they’ve given us the option to connect via Skype.

We’re impressed with the fact we only need to pay once for their modules They’re not like PrestaShop, where we have to make yearly payments.

At first we hired Webkul to implement the akeneo - shopware 6 connector. The connector worked fine but after a while we had some custom work in shopware 6 (tier pricing, video in photo carrousel), that needed to be done. This information needed to be managed in akeneo, so the connector needed custom work. They made custom solutions so that we can manage all the information from akeneo, this kept our product management processes quick.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
First task Webkul did for us was implementing the akeneo - shopware 6 connector. Which was done in no time and the connector is easy to use. So we looked if they could do custom work for us, what they could so we asked them and they helped us out really good.

First we made a support ticket with the problem we were facing. After that Webkul said what they could do for customization to resolve the issue. After agreeing on price and project scope, they make a ticket in there ERP system so you have direct communication. In this ticket they keep you updated on what they have made and how far they are with custom work. After completing the will send you the finished (in our case) zip file, with instruction how to implement the update in our system. I then shared the zip with our other partner who rolled out the update.

They was 1 developer and 1 person from the support/sales team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
With the custom work we are able to centralise product information. So we did not have to do some product information updates in shopware 6 and then in Akeneo. Everything is central now. This saves me and my co workers a lot of time. The time saved is well worth the investment.

Management style is clear, all the information is centralised in a ticket and easy to find back. Their communication is clear and to the point.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
If they say custom work is done in 8 to 10 business days, it is finished in that period. They are quick.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In the ERP ticket system, sometimes i did not receive a update by email if a new comment was placed. Wasn't that big of a problem but for next time it would be great. That was the only thing i could think of.

We chose Webkul in the beginning because its "Order approval" extension perfecty fitted our needs. In fact we ned to approve the orders before made them payble for customers. To be sure that we can make the work we need to see the documents customer fournish us. If everything is ok, we approve the order and customer can pay for it.

The first step was for us to buy, install and configure "Order approval" extension for our Magento 2 installation. Then we asked for the customization . They did add to backend configuration the functionality to chose in which statuses the order should be still payble. This made the "Pay now" button visible for the customers even when an order changes its status to "Canceled" because transaction was declined at first. The last step was for Webkul team to make those order invoiceble, that is to automatically invoice them at the moment the customer successfully completes the payment.

Webkul is creating a solution to connect two critical systems we’ve onboarded into our roadmap: an e-commerce CMS margin tool and a product information management (PIM) tool. They offer specific extensions to transfer data from the PIM to the margin tool. We’ve also asked them to customize specific features.

I work with a technical specialist.

We don't have KPIs associated with this solution because it's not yet in production. As we're at the prototype stage, we measure Webkul's success based on their ability to deliver the requirements. The team has consistently delivered the requirements in the contractual terms we've defined.
How did Webkul perform from a project management standpoint?
They've delivered tasks within my budget expectations. When we started the customization project, they offered anonymized online ticketing. For the prototype stage, I asked them to assign a technical representative specialist with whom I could interact. Although it took a while, they've recently assigned us a nominative expert from their team who coordinates several departments' work to streamline the project. I've been positively surprised by their ability to consider my requirements.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I'm impressed by the reliability of Webkul's code; we've had very few bugs, and I appreciate that.

They could be a little bit more responsive to our ideas and the feedback we give them for continuous improvement.

ChimpConnect was the only app that allowed us to transfer data between Mailchimp and Salesforce in the way we desired. This, paired with the support we received from the Webkul team while implementing ChimpConnect, were the deciding factors when deciding to go with Webkul.

First, we hopped on a discovery call with our support contact Abhishek, who is amazing. He walked us through the product and its capabilities, and we were sold. After we signed the contract to implement, Abhishek connected with Mrityunjay (the developer) and Faisal (the project manager) about getting ChimpConnect setup between our two platforms.
They were all very professional and sensitive with the data we provided them access. If we asked them to provide an additional customization in the process, they were very quick to have it implemented. I cannot speak more highly of this team. They have been amazing!

We had Abhishek (our support specialist), Mrityunjay (the developer), and Faisal (the project manager for ChimpConnect).

ChimpConnect has been awesome so far. Any time we create or update a contact in Salesforce, the implementation created by Webkul transfers the data over to Mailchimp seamlessly. This is exactly what we wanted!

They had a very reliable team that was flexible and patient with the time it took to complete the project. Any time we had questions or additional requests, they were more than willing to accommodate.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I found it most impressive that their team was so flexible. Any time there was a change we needed to make quickly, they were happy to do it. Abhishek, our contact, was very kind and helped manage our team and time very professionally.

I honestly don't think so – excellence and professionalism all around from their team.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webkul , and what were your goals?
serving many individual stores, as well as advertising them, becomes unprofitable. Therefore, we decided to make one trading platform and transfer all customers to one store. Only "Webkul" had an ideal option with maximum capabilities.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
compared the possibilities and the work done among all programmers. Many projects had dead ends. There was no technical support, limited features, little programming experience. A commercial project required a reliable company with experience, knowledge, quick response to questions, of course, the cost of the work, to bring the matter to the end. According to these criteria, only Webkul met.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They had samples of work, ready-made modules for use. Almost all modules were ready for use and no modifications were required. As a result, as a constructor, we assembled a very large store based on Opencart with great opportunities. The complexity was the integration into my server, errors appeared and they were successfully eliminated.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I did not think about it and did not check it, since the work was going on and I saw the results of the work. Who and what did this is only their internal affairs. I got the desired result and that's the only thing that matters to me.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
It was important for me to save time on store maintenance for my clients, as well as save money on advertising. As a result, instead of hundreds of stores, I serve one store, and there is also no need for advertising, since each seller advertises himself and buyers of one seller have the opportunity to see the products of another seller. This is great for self promotion.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Well organized communication. The ability to communicate by email, chat, in the personal account of the site and a convenient ticket system. I really liked the fact that I could write a message from anywhere and all messages were collected and organized in a ticket system. It is very convenient to send screenshots in messages. It is not required to specially edit pictures in complex programs.
Pictures can be copied and pasted into a question and it's fast. Due to the time difference between the programmers and my place of residence, I received the finished product for testing from the very morning to the beginning of the working day. I test all day, write comments, and send it in the evening. In the morning, all the corrections are ready and you can continue to do tests. If minor errors were then corrected within an hour. If the question-answer then one minute.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
they know their product very well and know the products of other manufacturers. They understand my wishes and fulfill them. For us, English is a foreign language, but we easily understand each other as if we were communicating in our native language. They knew the programming and mentality of other nationalities. Their product was rare and of good quality in today's world.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
it may be necessary to be able to take the initiative and offer additional opportunities, since the customer may not see or be unaware of other opportunities in modern e-commerce. Also, be able to see the shortcomings and correct them. Perhaps I'm wrong and they are doing the right thing, since it is not correct to "impose" products, and it is impossible to fix them without the permission of the customer. Frankly, I did not find any flaws to complain about.

Assigning sellers to suppliers manually takes a long time, we developed with them a system that identifies the categories and associates them automatically which reduces the supplier connection time by tens of percent.
Even categories that do not have active products are automatically hidden. And a purchase button now for products shorten the purchase time and improve the user experience.
