We knew pretty well what we wanted, so we already approached them with a detailed list of technologies required as well as a front-end design. We wanted the front-end to be written in javascript with React framework. Backend had to be in python, and it should all run on AWS in a serverless design (lambda functions, dynamodb, SQS) to keep the run cost as low as possible.
For us to achieve this, we went over the design frequently, and together with a project manager, came up with a detailed backlog of user stories that the developers could pick up. Furthermore, cost (and not going over budget) was very important for us, therefore, we have split up the scope of work in 4 deliveries.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We managed to bring back our manual steps from 27 to 3. The overall engagement from our end decreased from 6 hours to 1 hour per match. This is a huge difference and very important in our growth journey. Without this effort none of our ambitions would have been possible.

We were given one project manager and two hiring specialists on the Web Recruiters side. We were mainly worked with project manager, s he was giving us candidates.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The goal of the project of was to hire those specialists sequentially starting with senior developer 1st, that was for the term of the one initial month. After that we had a need to get QA and other two developers. All those were achieved earlier till the middle of May 2020. So we've got very positive outcome of this project and we were able to complete our development tasks faster.

The workflow was very effective, we were given certain number of candidates each week. The quality of candidates were quite aligned with what we requested. It was also noticed that Web Recruiters are quite efficient in staff selection processes. So the candidates we got were right aligned with the skill sets we requested.

What can be improved is the way to integrate hiring process into the target companies. What challenge were you trying to address with Web Recruiters?
Our company was growing very fast, so I contacted Sergey (Resources Manager) and Web Recruiters to help us find DevOps talent.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Web Recruiters is providing us candidates for contracting positions, both full- and part-time. We’ve made three hires through them so far, and I hope we’ll make more. We’re a project-based company, and we’re always looking for great candidates, regardless of the number of projects we’re running.
How did you come to work with Web Recruiters?
I’d worked with them before, and I know their personnel very well. I knew that they were professional and good at what they do. We had established communication, so it was easy to go from there.
This wasn’t a new challenge for Web Recruiters, but it wasn’t exactly what they’d worked on before. They adjusted to our demands very fast, and found qualified candidates. We didn’t have a company for Eastern Europe at this point, and Web Recruiters can cover the whole of Europe. This was a plus for them.

I started working for the company around five months ago, and I brought Web Recruiters in about a month later, but I started talking to them about a potential collaboration right away. I brought them on as soon as they had an option.

They’re very professional at what they do, they’re flexible in adjusting tasks, and they never give up. Web Recruiters will continue searching and digging until they find the right people for their client.
We’ll potentially be working with them in an outstaffing capacity. They’re not just a search company, they always have multiple solutions on the table.
How did Web Recruiters perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always in communication with us, and they give us constant feedback on the next step, no matter how small (calling a candidate to check where he is, and things like that). They hold our hands through the entire process, so I’m very comfortable working with them. I never feel like I’m fighting this battle by myself.
It’s never a matter of “Here’s the resume. Good luck!”. They get our feedback, they make adjustments, and they communicate. They were doing the same with another company I’ve worked with, so I think that Web Recruiters has the same approach for all their customers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re an Israeli company with offices all over the world, and we have other recruiters. Those are also good, but they’ll sometimes promise to deliver when they can’t. After talking, we’ll find out very fast that they don’t have the resource they’re promising to provide. This isn’t the case with Web Recruiters.
They’re also very fair in terms of cost. They’re not cheap, but they don’t overcharge us. There aren’t a lot of DevOps resources on the market, and recruiters are always fighting for them, so they feel that they can get greedy.

Their communication is excellent, and their approach to finding people is also fantastic. There’s nothing I could mention.

They have to be completely honest and provide Web Recruiters exactly what they need. They will work with the client to clarify the task, but it has to be precise.

I work in IT department and as a Team Leader of Web development team I'm responsible for recruitment and retention of our staff. Web development team primarily is responsible for development and maintenance of JYSK online stores platform that operates in 22 countries and serves millions of JYSK customers.

Our Web development team in JYSK had a need to extend team with professional Front End developer. Thus we hired Web Recruiters for recruitment services related to this position.
What were your goals for this engagement?
Front End is extremely hot job market currently, so it's very hard to find and attract good developers. And in JYSK we needed the best talents in order to achieve our strategy - aim to make JYSK a retail leader in omni channel eCommerce.

Despite the unpleasant situation with quarantine, with help of Web Recruiters team JYSK successfully hired Front End developer. He is professional and really good fit into our Web development team.

Web Recruiters team was fast in providing candidate CVs, helped us in arranging interviews and communication with candidates.

To determine what kind of professional we will need from Web Recruiters, we often have a discovery meeting. We outline for them the kind of work we hope to do, the technology we hope to employ, and the kind of experience we are looking for in a developer.
Based on those parameters, they then provide us with a few profiles. After selecting a developer, we go to work immediately away. We produce iOS applications for the majority of our projects, using React on the front end and Node.js on the back end. Web Recruiters only handles development for us, however I'm aware that they have designers on staff as well.

Our collaboration has been fantastic. The positive feedback from our clients is something we value highly. They adore our collaborative effort with Web Recruiters' experts.

We have been fortunate to work with them, and it has been going extremely well. They utilize Jira and Monday.com, the same platforms as we do. We also speak with each other on the phone, in person, via Zoom, Google Meet, and Meet.

What really impresses us about them is how fast and dedicated they work. They are very quick to respond and always have the people we need.
