Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an engagement manager for a DevOps company, coordinating a 13-person team. We’re based in Israel, and we have DevOps engineers all over Europe.
What challenge were you trying to address with Web Recruiters?
Our company was growing very fast, so I contacted Sergey (Resources Manager) and Web Recruiters to help us find DevOps talent.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Web Recruiters is providing us candidates for contracting positions, both full- and part-time. We’ve made three hires through them so far, and I hope we’ll make more. We’re a project-based company, and we’re always looking for great candidates, regardless of the number of projects we’re running.
How did you come to work with Web Recruiters?
I’d worked with them before, and I know their personnel very well. I knew that they were professional and good at what they do. We had established communication, so it was easy to go from there.
This wasn’t a new challenge for Web Recruiters, but it wasn’t exactly what they’d worked on before. They adjusted to our demands very fast, and found qualified candidates. We didn’t have a company for Eastern Europe at this point, and Web Recruiters can cover the whole of Europe. This was a plus for them.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost of their services is $10,000–$20,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working for the company around five months ago, and I brought Web Recruiters in about a month later, but I started talking to them about a potential collaboration right away. I brought them on as soon as they had an option.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re very professional at what they do, they’re flexible in adjusting tasks, and they never give up. Web Recruiters will continue searching and digging until they find the right people for their client.
We’ll potentially be working with them in an outstaffing capacity. They’re not just a search company, they always have multiple solutions on the table.
How did Web Recruiters perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always in communication with us, and they give us constant feedback on the next step, no matter how small (calling a candidate to check where he is, and things like that). They hold our hands through the entire process, so I’m very comfortable working with them. I never feel like I’m fighting this battle by myself.
It’s never a matter of “Here’s the resume. Good luck!”. They get our feedback, they make adjustments, and they communicate. They were doing the same with another company I’ve worked with, so I think that Web Recruiters has the same approach for all their customers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re an Israeli company with offices all over the world, and we have other recruiters. Those are also good, but they’ll sometimes promise to deliver when they can’t. After talking, we’ll find out very fast that they don’t have the resource they’re promising to provide. This isn’t the case with Web Recruiters.
They’re also very fair in terms of cost. They’re not cheap, but they don’t overcharge us. There aren’t a lot of DevOps resources on the market, and recruiters are always fighting for them, so they feel that they can get greedy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their communication is excellent, and their approach to finding people is also fantastic. There’s nothing I could mention.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
They have to be completely honest and provide Web Recruiters exactly what they need. They will work with the client to clarify the task, but it has to be precise.

Price range upon the closure of the position is one of the best in the market. Also, the Head Manager Sergey has a reputation of professional and we heard many positive feedback about his work before signing recruitment contract with him.

We started our office from scratch. It is much harder to recruit an employee to an office that just started to operate not long time ago. Web Recruiters brought us Branch Manager, CEO, Team Leaders and many more developers to our team.

I am HR for a UK based technology company, our team was established in 2016 and we focus on providing the latest technologies that allows transport operators to better understand the needs of their passenger.

Our team is growing very fast and because we are a technology company we were particularly looking for a good recruitment agency to help us find some good Ruby on Rails developers in Ukraine.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
I picked two main markets at the time, Ukraine and Romania. After searching some reviews, pricing and talking to the respective recruiters, we chose Web-recruiter because they were very responsive and understood our needs.

We give specific job requirements and they regularly screen and send us a number of candidates who are a good fit for our company. I would like to say that they do a very good job in this process and do not send us a lot of useless CVs, but are very targeted.

I worked with Resource manager, Sergey , who is very efficient, friendly and easy to communicate. Very happy to be working with such a person!

Web-recruiter has helped us hire two excellent RoR developers, one of whom has passed the probationary period, is doing well and has integrated well into the company. The other has just joined us, but the team all really like him!

They generally communicate with me by email and the responses are prompt and very efficient!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I think they are people who don't say flowery things that are not useful, they are always focused on doing practical things. They were able to understand our needs very quickly and acted on them rapidly. Their work ethic and the way they communicate make me feel very comfortable!

The project was to hire three developers and on QA. We needed one senior ASP.Net full stack developer and two middle .Net backend developers. Also required middle level quality assurance specialist for the manual type of testing. We provided Wen Recruiters with position specifications for that staff and Web Recruiters started hiring process.
What was the team composition?
We were given one project manager and two hiring specialists on the Web Recruiters side. We were mainly worked with project manager, s he was giving us candidates.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The goal of the project of was to hire those specialists sequentially starting with senior developer 1st, that was for the term of the one initial month. After that we had a need to get QA and other two developers. All those were achieved earlier till the middle of May 2020. So we've got very positive outcome of this project and we were able to complete our development tasks faster.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was very effective, we were given certain number of candidates each week. The quality of candidates were quite aligned with what we requested. It was also noticed that Web Recruiters are quite efficient in staff selection processes. So the candidates we got were right aligned with the skill sets we requested.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were impressed by the number of good candidates that we immediately got after we commenced our collaboration.
Are there any areas for improvement?
What can be improved is the way to integrate hiring process into the target companies. It means that it would be great if Web Recruiters would have some public solution where information can be shared on regular standard way, some kind of collaboration board online. We would suggest to use tool like Jira and share such hiring projects between Web Recruiters and target (customer) company.

I would say they should pay more attention to the process of preliminary calls with candidates. A few times they forgot to check the English level of potential candidates. But it wasn't so critical.
