VR Vision Inc. created an interactive VR experience for a trade show event that lasted two days. The team also took footage of the event, compiling it into a 3D visual.
Audience feedback on the VR experience was overwhelmingly positive. VR Vision Inc.’s self-sufficiency supplemented the potential for continued engagement. Customers can expect a professional team that is skilled in their field.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the exhibits and sponsorship coordinator for the Ontario Dental Association, a membership organization that provides services to the dental profession. I manage the trade show and sponsorship/advertising for the ODA’s Annual Spring Meeting, which is one of the largest dental conferences in North America, attracting 13,000 attendees annually.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address VR Vision Inc.?
We were looking for a feature area to add to the trade show floor for our attendees to have a unique and interactive experience.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
VR Vision Inc. came to our office to provide our team with a demo of various equipment and VR experiences that they had available. We were thrilled with the experience and immediately proceeded to sign the contract and provided them with the move-in/move-out information for the event. The experience was available all day during the two-day show and was quite busy. As an added bonus, they also took video footage of the event for our team at no additional cost.
What is the team composition?
I worked with one main contact, but there were several others I communicated with in regards to financing and other areas. I had a connection for contract and payment, and another point of contact for the actual booth set-up at the convention.
How did you come to work with VR Vision Inc.?
Our sponsoring company did the preliminary legwork. When we met with them, they indicated that they wanted to sponsor an area associated with a VR feature. Our sponsor scoped various companies and came back with VR Vision Inc. Their team came to our office to perform a demo to show what we were going to be offering at the trade show. Since we liked what we experienced, we went ahead with VR Vision Inc.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost around $8,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with VR Vision Inc. from February 2019 to May 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Everything ran perfectly and smoothly from the beginning to the end and the sponsor was very happy We send out a survey to our attendees of the conference, asking them to rate all of the various features. The VR area rated quite well. All the responses were positive, and it was a great success. VR Vision Inc. sent a proof of 3D virtual footage of activities that took place on the trade show floor. Their team did it at their own courtesy, which was awesome. The sponsor would like to repeat this feature area again for next year so we will be proceeding to hire them again.
How did VR Vision Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
I was the only one working with them, and everything ran impeccably smooth. There was one in-person meeting when their team provided the demo, and then the rest of the communication was by email and phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
VR Vision Inc. is extremely professional. I didn’t need to assist them because their team was self-sufficient. Every time I checked in on them, everything was going well. They were a seamless vendor to have on the show floor.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing that I can think of right now.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would highly recommend them to any of my colleagues who are looking for a great company to provide VR services for their trade shows!

VR Vision Inc. performed a variety of services for an independent school as an effort to use VR as a teaching tool for students. The team provided technical consulting before tackling training sessions.
The final training session is in the next couple of weeks. VR Vision Inc. delivered a service that will significantly better the client. Their expertise supplemented the potential for future engagement. Customers can expect a professional digital team that’s responsive and timely.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the technology integration specialist at an independent K-12 school.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision Inc.?
We recently became interested in using VR as a teaching tool. I secured an innovation grant through our principal to explore and acquire equipment that would allow our students to become authors in VR and even contribute to or pioneer the conventions of filming and creating in VR.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The initial consultation with VR Vision Inc. was regarding what type of hardware we should be buying. After the technical consultation, we looked at purchasing equipment and ended up buying an advanced, high-tech camera. VR Vision Inc. took care of the setup, configuration, and customization for the school. They provided training to my colleague and me, showing us how to operate, edit, and create using the equipment.
Their team also gave us information on the creative software that was available for classroom use. Alex (360° Content Director, VR Vision Inc.) delivered hands-on training, giving examples of what other companies are doing with the technology. He also gave us advice on the best practices for video pre– and postproduction, and how we can convert files and present them on different devices and screens.
What is the team composition?
Along with Alex, we’ve been predominantly in contact with Elizabeth (Business Development Director, VR Vision Inc.). She put us in touch with Roni (CEO, VR Vision Inc.), who walked us through the process.
How did you come to work with VR Vision Inc.?
We’d originally been looking for a hardware solution. A year prior, during a cold-call scenario, VR Vision Inc. got in touch with us. We weren’t ready to procure service with them at the time. When this project came along, we got in touch with several companies, and it was fortuitous that VR Vision Inc. knocked on our door again. Many companies are familiar with the equipment but don’t have in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of development.
When talking with Roni and Alex, it was apparent they knew their work well and that they’re leaders in the field. I felt confident in trusting them. They also told us that they’d worked with other schools and were interested in talking. After I received the grant, conversations began.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $10,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with VR Vision Inc. in September 2018, and are looking at the final phase of engagement.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The final phase is coming in the next few weeks, and it’s a final training session for post-editing. We’ve discussed future engagements in customization and hosting of our material on a custom VR app. If the school decides to go down the VR path, our next step will be looking at how to create a branded app that hosts all the student-created content for the community to interact with and enjoy.
VR Vision Inc.’s value is indispensable. It would’ve taken our team awhile to figure everything out, but they were able to meet the learning curve. The value they’re bringing is integral to the project’s success. Everything is coming together quickly. There were aspects that they weren’t involved in that made it challenging to meet some of our deadlines. Whenever VR Vision Inc. was involved, they resolved the issue. Their team supported ours in achieving goals that might not have happened otherwise.
How did VR Vision Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Whenever we had a question, concern, or need for them to be in front of us, their team is responsive. They’re on time and professional. We typically communicate through email and phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I haven’t had the chance to work with them and their experience on the development side, but have heard it is one of their strengths. I’ve mainly interacted with them on the knowledge and support side. From my perspective, VR Vision’s strengths would be in those areas and communication.
Are there any areas they could improve?
VR Vision Inc. could perform a stronger assessment of training situations, preparing to fit the needs of the client. One of our contacts wasn’t prepared in the technologies we were using during our first training session. It made the session unproductive. Being a PC user, they didn’t know the workflows of a Mac. We gave them feedback, and then they were prepared for the next session.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
In the beginning, clients should get a feel for who they are and what they have to offer. We had some initial conversations, and it was a different experience depending on who we talked to on the phone. VR Vision Inc. shined for us when Roni brought in his equipment and knowledge. Especially in this emerging technology, it’s hard to visualize or imagine the possibilities. We had to see it for ourselves.

VR Vision Inc. crafted 3D objects for a VR video that showcased new elements in a downtown regional development. The team worked off of two-dimensional renderings and drawings.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of new media at Winged Whale Media, a content agency that specializes in video, photo, and AR/VR.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision Inc.?
We were working on a joint project with a local municipality that was developing a downtown core for their region. It was a spacious region with suburban and commercial developments. The municipality was looking to bring in condos, malls, and office towers. They wanted an architectural visualization that envisioned the downtown area.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
VR Vision Inc. wanted to use a 360-degree video with VR as a way to highlight and showcase new businesses, along with bringing public opinion on board. We were tasked with creating a promotional video of the metropolitan center that’s at the heart of the development. Right now, the area only has two office building, so we wanted to show what the region will look like in five years.
We filmed a representative that discussed the future site and plans. The video was created in three separate phases. We shot all the locations, then overlaid two-dimensional renderings of the planned buildings. The second phased involved taping with the mayor and focusing on the messaging. For the third phase, VR Vision Inc. incorporated realistic structures using 3D objects over the two-dimensional drawings and then developing our own models.
What is the team composition?
Roni (CEO, VR Vision Inc.) and Alex (360° Content Director, VR Vision Inc.) were my main points of contact. I think one or two more members of their team were involved as well.
How did you come to work with VR Vision Inc.?
We had worked with VR Vision Inc. previously on a couple projects. One joint project involved a VR simulation for a city using Tilt Brush. The city was going through a redevelopment and wanted to get the sense of what people wanted in a town so they could paint what they wanted to see. They ran six VR stations at a special event day at their city hall, while we ran point with the client. I think we came across them because we needed their expertise and our services began to expand. We’ve pitched a lot of projects together.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with VR Vision Inc. between February–April 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The city launched the video on their YouTube channel recently. The feedback from the client has been spectacular. They loved everything about the process and result. The 3D technology VR Vision Inc. specializes in, as far as I’m aware, is pretty new.
They took the video to a trade show to attract new businesses. Participants came into a lounge and put on VR goggles and headsets. They received a great response from that. We worked as a team to get the product done, and the result was pretty amazing. I want to do more of this work in the future.
How did VR Vision Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
VR Vision Inc. was accessible. Communication was smooth, making it easy to get ahold of Roni or Alex. We used phone, email, or text, depending on what was convenient. Their team was responsive. If they weren’t on at the time, they’d get back to me within an hour. While we had project setup and needed to figure out creative elements, the process was streamlined. Everything was delivered on time and within budget. In the end, VR Vision Inc. knew what to do, providing feedback on what would and wouldn’t work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
VR Vision Inc. exceeded expectations. I appreciated their adaptability and flexibility to the parameters changed throughout the project. They reacted positively to the evolving timelines, fulfilling everything we requested. The video is now a centerpiece of our portfolio. We’ve showcased it to other developers and clients that would be impacted by the use of 3D objects in their VR videos. Working with VR Vision Inc. was excellent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t believe so. Everything responded the way I wanted it to, so there is no room for improvement. Maybe they can show samples of their work sooner so I can get a better sense of the product before showing it to the client. Overall, I don’t have any real complaints or issues.

After hosting a trial session, VR Vision Inc. has developed a tailor-made VR program to engage seniors at a Chinese care facility. They’ve ensured that all content is in Cantonese and intuitive to use.
All of the senior users have responded enthusiastically to the VR sessions, and the team has also provided training sessions for the internal staff to keep them up to date. While VR Vision Inc.’s pricing might be cost-prohibitive to some, their superb quality of service more than makes up for it.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of a long-term care facility that caters to Chinese seniors.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision Inc.?
VR Vision Inc. has helped us design a virtual reality (VR) program that we could use during activities to engage our seniors. We wanted to make sure that all of the technology would be easy to use while also staying within our budget.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, VR Vision Inc. came in and did a trial session, using VR technology to stimulate our seniors. Everyone loved the experience, so their team developed a custom VR program for our next sessions.
Because we’re a Chinese cultural house, it’s important that they cater each session to meet our specific needs. Our seniors don’t speak English, so everything has to be in Cantonese and culturally appropriate.
What is the team composition?
We work with around 3–5 people. The team size depends on whether we’re having a meeting or running a session.
How did you come to work with VR Vision Inc.?
They reached out to us and asked us to review their past work. We kept in contact and ended up using their service.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $5,000–$10,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2018, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results are fantastic. Since our seniors have specific cultural needs, it’s great that VR Vision Inc. is able to customize their programs to match. Everyone really loves the sessions.
How did VR Vision Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
We mostly use email to communicate but also talk over the phone. If it’s an email, they’ll respond within 24 hours or even within a few minutes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The best thing about VR Vision Inc. is that they’ve customized the session to meet our seniors’ needs. From ensuring that everything is in Cantonese to educating our staff on the technology, they understand how to work with us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t turn them down just because of your budget. Try them out before deciding if it’s worth it.

The VR product received positive user feedback and created opportunity for growth. The team’s commitment and expertise resulted in a seamless partnership; VR Vision Inc. exceeded expectations for service. Face-to-face demonstrations and training maximized results.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the creative director of Alchemy Systems. We provide communications solutions, materials, and platforms to companies around safety, health, and loss prevention topics.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision Inc.?
We hired them to build a VR-based proof of concept for fire safety training. We wanted to demonstrate to our client base that VR is a viable tool for training employees.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us with the instructional design of a VR course that showed factory workers responding to a fire emergency. The course went over best practices and alternative solutions for real-life situations. The team created the product with HTC Vive headsets, and compiled the footage using Unity 3D for PCs and Steam as the final player.
What is the team composition?
We interacted with one developer. They had two or three resources working behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with VR Vision Inc.?
We sent out an RFP to eight North American companies; the document contained detailed specifications and samples of our in-house 3D assets. VR Vision Inc. was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We chose them because they picked up on details in the RFP and the request for quotation (RFQ) that other companies missed. They asked detailed questions that no one else picked up on. They asked if they could have conversations with our 3D artists to ensure that the assets were in exactly the right format.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $50,000–$100,000. VR Vision Inc. did the project at cost; we would have spent more if they charged us normally.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from June–October 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The product has made a tremendous impact for our company; it was well received by our client base at our annual conference. We successfully demonstrated that VR is a viable training method. What’s more, our team in now implementing client feedback on VR into our sales cycle.
How did VR Vision Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Communications were ideal and project management was perfect. During weekly status meetings, we always knew where we stood and what to expect seven days out. We had no disappointments whatsoever.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They hosted a half-day training session at their offices. That tutorial enabled our team to talk about the VR experience with our clients as if we had created it ourselves from scratch. We didn’t expect that onsite training. Subsequently, the team visited one of our offices for additional demonstrations. VR Vision Inc. went above and beyond in this respect.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There wasn’t anything within their control that they could have done differently. This industry is fledgling and hardware is changing almost daily. If the team had prototypes of new hardware, that might have helped. But again, that was beyond their control.

I’m the founder and president of VR Planet. We provide virtual reality experiences for individuals and small to large groups. The other part of our business involves content creation in the videography and editing space.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision Inc.?
We were contacted by several companies to build VR arcades at multiple locations. Each location required hardware, experience ideation, marketing design, and a customized programming environment. I hired VR Vision Inc. to assist with the entire process.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
VR Vision helped us create 10 VR arcades. They provided the hardware equipment for each location and developed a customizable software experience. How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $90,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The development process took place from February–August 2018. We still reach out to them for technical assistance on occasion.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
While instrumental to the whole process, their most notable contribution to the project is the customizable environment. We’re excited about the revenue stream it creates by combining marketing opportunities with distinctive gameplay experiences. We’re currently being courted by two companies that want to advertise within our environment.
How did VR Vision Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re open communicators that are available anytime we make a call. Overall, I’m quite happy with the service they provided for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Roni and the rest of his team work together efficiently. I’d reach out to him to alleviate project challenges and he’d always follow through in response to my inquiries.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re growing extremely fast, but that can result in a lack of staff availability when products near completion.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to reach out. If some of their team members aren’t responding promptly, a quick text or email to Roni will expedite things.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the technology integration specialist at an independent preparatory school in Canada.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision?
We brought in VR Vision to introduce virtual reality technology to our student body. After the public demo, we asked them to install a couple in-school units and help execute a VR-based class project.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
VR Vision provided three main services for our school. Initially, they set up a demo station at a school-wide anniversary celebration. Their staff guided students, parents, and teachers through the experience using independently programmed HTC Vives and VR Stream software. VR Vision brought their own local routers and handled the entire installation process.
Following the trail's success, we decided to purchase in-house equipment from VR Vision for educational use. Their team customized the speed and other system features for optimal in-class academic use. They also trained me, and a few other staff members, on the equipment.
Finally, the VR Vision team helped us integrate virtual reality technology into a class assignment and walked us through the necessary tech elements. As part of a sustainable architecture project, their team helped our middle schoolers create a VR 360 website using Google Blocks and Title Brush that exhibits a few mock city blocks showcasing different architecture styles.
What is the team composition?
We worked with one project lead and a 360-imaging specialist.
How much have you invested with them?
The student project cost an estimated $15,000, but we have invested more in their other services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in July 2017 and we are currently wrapping up the student architecture project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This new addition to our curriculum is a source of excitement and voluntary engagement for our students. They are eager to use these new tools for academic development. The equipment is a unique supplement to our traditional program and separates us from other preparatory schools. We have integrated virtual reality experiences into mainly our geography and art classes, but plan to further assimilate the technology.
How did VR Vision perform from a project management standpoint?
The team prioritized audience awareness and programmed the equipment for school-wide understanding and efficiency, while remaining realistic with our expectations and the technical possibilities. VR Vision communicated consistently through steady follow-up conversations and revision alerts. Their attentive approach to our partnership allowed us to make changes to the schedule and still complete tasks by hard deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
VR Vision provides a full-scale service. They expertly managed installation, documentation, and execution to create the best possible virtual reality experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The virtual reality systems are installed in a fixed location. Some mobility and flexibility with the equipment would help us further integrate the machine into our curriculum. Though, that isn’t so much a VR Vision problem as a broader limitation of the technology.

VR Vision developed a virtual reality team building activity for a business convention.
Participants enjoyed the exciting simulation game and learned useful team-building skills in the process. With limited time to plan and limited space to set up six booths, VR Vision resorted to brainstorming effective solutions so that the event could continue as planned.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the personal assistant to the VP of Engineering at a multinational company that provides transportation engineering and design services.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with VR Vision Inc.?
We were organizing a two-day networking event for our managerial staff and wanted to incorporate an exciting team-building activity for the attendees to enjoy at the end of the conference.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Weeks before the event, VR Vision held a private demo of their simulated activities in our office. After viewing their selection, we requested six booths for their bomb-defusing game, which was entertaining and relevant to the convention’s theme. We had limited space and limited time, so they came to the venue the day before the event to set up the stations. During the conference, their employees were available at each station to explain the activity to our participants.
The attendees split into teams, and one person from each group wore a VR headset that displayed a simulated environment. They were tasked to explain the visuals to their teammates so that they could solve the puzzle before the bomb exploded.
What is the team composition?
In addition to the six individuals who managed the booths during the event, we had two points of contact who helped us during the planning process.
How did you come to work with VR Vision Inc.?
When we were discussing possible activities, someone on our team recommended VR Vision. We had never hosted VR activities at any of our events, so we went with their suggestion.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent less than $25,000 to use their stations for the two-day forum.
What is the status of this engagement?
We connected with them in October 2017, and the event ended on December 1.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our participants loved the bomb-defusing activity; most of them had never tried VR, so it was a thrilling experience for them. Beyond its entertainment value, the game was a great way build collaborative skills for our company’s managers.
How did VR Vision perform from a project management standpoint?
There was a moment when we thought we’d have to cancel the event because we were short on time, but their timeliness helped the event move seamlessly. They were beyond professional when coordinating with the venue, and they were engaging when interacting with the participants.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Planning the event was difficult, but they had a solution for every obstacle that came their way. The venue was small, so they mapped out the space beforehand to organize their stations in a way that wouldn’t interfere with other vendors’ set-ups. To save time, they set up their booths the day before the event so that we wouldn’t have to stall the commencement getting things in place.
