TM Technologies is a wireless waveform research and development engineering company. It's primary technology - Transpositional Modulation or "TM" - has been developed and is operable and ready for commercialization. I, Dan Hodges, am founder, Chairman and CEO.

In order to properly market our technology, I needed a graphic demonstration, or "explainer video" showing how it is that TM functions and the benefits it provides.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Olena handled all contracting and administrative functions. Vadym managed the project, worked on it and was the point of contact. Konstantine produced the electronic files and much of the coding.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Having shown the video to many colleagues in leading industry and government positions, the feedback has been absolutely perfect. The video helped non-technical customers understand its function finally and the technical people can see how it actually works.

They were professional, attentive, listened and responded quickly and finished the project early.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The personal research they did to understand our technology was impressive. They wanted to get it right, and did.

I wouldn't change a single thing and I will definitely be using them again.

Since 2007, LegitScript has been making the internet and payment ecosystems safer and more transparent. The company combines big data with a team of human experts skilled in monitoring, certification, and high-risk products and websites. The result? We needed a video for our company's annal kick-off meeting that highlighted our achievements from the previous year. Our timeline was short, so we need a team that could quickly turn around a video.

1. We emailed explaining the scope and timeline of the project.
2. They emailed back saying they could complete the work on that timeline.
3. I collected all of the data for the video and sent over a script
4. They created basic slides to give a sense of the design.
5. We gave feedback, and they revised.
6. They gave us a sample of the animated parts of the video.
7. We gave feedback and they revised.
8. Video complete.

We initially worked with Iryna on the the deal, and the actual work was completed by Sergey. They were both extremely easy to work with and very responsive. Sergey listened to our feedback and turned around edits very quickly.

The video was finished on time and was exactly what we were hoping for.

Sergey showed us concepts as he developed them, so that we could give feedback early on. They helped ensure that the project was going in the direction that we liked and avoided major changes.

Iryna and Sergey were a pleasure to work with. They always responded quickly, and Sergey's work was wonderful.

I'm the Growth Marketing Manager for a data analytics platform for the energy industry. We help energy companies transform disconnected, incomplete data into clear and actionable pathways to emissions reduction and operational improvement.

For what projects/services did your company hire Verstiuk Production, and what were your goals?

We run regular webinars to educate our prospects and customers about trends and topics in the energy and energy technology space. These webinars are a key source of engagement with our audience and a significant contributor to the marketing team's revenue goals. We were looking for a production agency to transform our raw speaker footage and slides into engaging and dynamic webinar videos that would help to break down complex topics and convey our messaging in clear and enticing ways.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We got referrals for video production companies from our network. Among the companies that were referred to us, we chose Verstiuk for the quality of their work, compatibility with the team, and their reasonable pricing.

For each webinar (~1 per month) we send over raw speaker videos and slides. Verstiuk uploads one of the raw videos to frame.io and we make comments throughout the video (at the precise timestamps) to define our vision for the final product, suggested edits, and suggested dynamic components. Verstiuk takes all our feedback, asks any clarifying questions, and initiates the video production process. Within a few days we receive the first version of our video for review and feedback. We review and provide feedback on a couple more tweaks.

Verstiuk makes the necessary changes and comes back with the final version. Sometimes one more iteration is required to get it just right. At the beginning of our engagement with Verstiuk, we worked closely with them to create a template for the webinars, defining things like the intro, outro, how we wanted transitions to look, how the branding should come through in the videos. Once this was set up, the above process was able to be followed for quick asynchronous edits moving forward. Aligning and creating this standard at the beginning allowed us to move quickly and with minimal friction for all future webinars.

We work with a Project Manager to communicate our requirements and timelines. He goes through them in detail (in frame.io), asks any clarifying questions, then passes the job to the designers to complete. We usually go through 2-3 rounds of feedback to make any additional tweaks required and to make sure the video turns out just right.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've been showing the videos during our regular webinars, and have received strong ratings and response rate to our post-webinar follow-ups, as a result of the quality of the videos being produced and the ability of the videos to break down the complex topics we discuss. From each webinar we generate calls with prospects and opportunities.

The Project and Account Managers are always extremely responsive and fast, and work hard to address our feedback down to the very last detail. We use slack to communicate, and frame.io to provide direction on the edits we're looking for.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The efficiency and quality of their work. They are set up to make things as seamless and frictionless as possible for us. Also the speed at which they work - we threw many tight timelines at them and they were able to meet them every time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the future it'd be great to see them suggest some of their own creative improvements or ideas, to take the edits to the next level.

I'm the CEO of a life-science technology company that helps the pharmaceutical space reach, engage, and understand their targets.

We wanted to create a 100 second snapshot for our primary product/platform, that would quickly explain the significance of what we've built to potential customers - get them excited, and interested in having a more meaningful demo.

We looked at a variety of companies and reviewed their previous work/reviews.

The communication was flawless, but it was a very clear timeline created at the beginning and certain milestones had to be met in order to move to the next phase. It was a fluid, and professional experience.

We worked with a primary project manager, and always had real-time access to the rest of the group. The feedback process was encouraged, and any/all requests were quickly discussed and implemented.

We showed the videos to potential investors, potential clients, and current climates and the response was overwhelmingly positive. It's changed the way we approach our sales strategy because we are able to make the entire process much less demanding due to the impact of this video.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to understand our business, our offerings and who the customer was. They didn't micromanage the budget, if they felt something was needed (or I had a request outside the original ask), they just did it. They were focused on success, no matter what. They had a great attitude and were true professionals the entire time.. I can't recommend them enough.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think they did everything right, but would be nice to have more access to voice over artists as that was a bit limited.

I am the Head of Business Development for an enterprise software company. We make a complex market intelligence product for large customers. I oversee our marketing activities.

We hired Verstiuk Production because we were looking for help with a 90 second explainer video as part of our marketing collateral. Our goal was to have a high quality video that we could share on our website and with prospective customers to explain our approach to market intelligence.

I evaluated 9 vendors for this project. The primary reason we selected Verstiuk because of the high quality and variety of their video portfolio. They had multiple examples and styles to choose from that gave us confidence in what their final output would look like. Other reasons we selected Verstiuk was their responsiveness to our inquiries, and a good price point.

Verstiuk had excellent project management throughout the entire process. The stages of production were script-writing, story-boarding, illustration, voiceover, and animation. They were very clear on how many revisions were available at each stage of production.

At first, I was worried that two revisions per stage would not be sufficient, but I quickly saw that Verstiuk was very good at digesting a large amount of feedback on the first iteration, and the second iteration was near perfect each time. They were also very responsive to written feedback and rough visuals that I provided electronically.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked initially with our account manager, Olena, and subsequently with our project manager, Sergey. Both were immensely professional and responsive. They took feedback very well and our requests were immediately incorporated.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our team internally loved the video, and found it to be a fresh visual take on our product and approach. Our advisors and social media followers also complimented the video. Our CEO also was extremely happy with the final output.

Verstiuk had incredible project management and I could not find a single fault with their process. They made excellent use of asynchronous collaboration tools. I had not previously used these tools. They were very intuitive and made it very easy to provide feedback without tying up my time on long calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Verstiuk Production is based in Ukraine, and our project coincided with the Russian Invasion. Despite a very stressful situation in their personal lives during this time, Verstiuk was still able to deliver our video on time and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. I am grateful that we were able to continue working together.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, I have zero reservations about recommending Verstiuk to others and I look forward to the next time I can contract them for a project.

I'm a Content Writer at MarineTraffic, and my team and I wanted to create a video to use as a promo for our new solution regarding fleet operations and management.

For what projects/services did your company hire Verstiuk Production, and what were your goals?

MarineTraffic is the world's most complete ship tracking and maritime analytics platform, and we hired Verstiuk to help us create 2 nice short videos including content that will help us explain and demonstrate what our platform and specific solutions built for our users can do.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for Video Production Companies in Greece and in Europe mainly as remote work now facilitates this, and we decided on this vendor based on final due dates and time of deliverables, cost and responsiveness to the request.

We first shared our storyboards, then had a meeting altogether, discussed our needs, and then moved on with the visuals, colours and anything we needed to provide the vendor with.

They came back with the first drafts, we checked and reviewed the illustrations, had another meeting (virtual) and reshared some details, then kept an online communication to make sure all was agreed upon, and we had the chance to send our comments and edits several times throughout the project.

Then the video scripts were sent and we were asked to choose over voiceovers, the sound was added, colours and the final draft was ready for us to review. More comments were added, and then we also requested some subtitles - in English and in Greek - to be added, and the final videos were ready within a very timely timeframe. All files were sent to us, and our collaboration was complete.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Initially and sometimes after that, we worked with the Account Manager to set due dates and costs, as well as discuss major changes after the project had begun, and mainly we collaborated and communicated mostly with the Project Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Anyone who has watched the video (Fleet Operations) has liked or loved it. We are happy we now have a clear, easy to understand visual type of content to share with our users - and which will bring us more interesting discussions with customers.

Very organised and timeline oriented, they stick to the dates they say the project will be based on, and the communication was mainly through emails. Sometimes, calls were also scheduled to help us sync over project details. I found their deliverables always ready on time and as agreed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very open to discussing with us details even after the project started and when we needed extra help with subtitles and voiceovers, they also delivered promptly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We needed a few meetings to clarify details but any time that was needed, they reached out first we did, so all good.

Verstiuk worked faster than expected, and the results were amazing and incredible — we had plenty of views and impressions. Overall, we were pleased with Verstiuk’s work.

Verstiuk resources were highly professional, and I was amazed at how fast they worked without compromising quality. Moreover, their attitude was amazing; they were open to receiving feedback, and our back and forths were quick. Whenever we asked them to change something, they worked on it quickly. To communicate, we used emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They worked like a true partner for us. I could get on the phone and ask them if my request was reasonable, and I could rely on them to deliver quickly and with high quality. Once they committed to the project, they were truly into it — it was impressive.

I am the CEO of an independent software vendor based in Australia, but with a development team in Australia and the Ukraine. Our product is a revolutionary digital clinical assistant and dynamic documentation tool for use by medics in the prehospital space.

For what projects/services did your company hire Verstiuk Production, and what were your goals?

We wanted to help potential customers understand how our product was different from their current tool, and why it offers so many more benefits. We decided on a 90 second 2D animated explainer video.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I researched on the internet the types of videos and a lot of suppliers. I read supplier reviews, their websites and looked at examples of their work. I reached out to Verstiuk because of their good reviews and the quality of the videos on their website.

I also expected that, being based in the Ukraine, they would be cost competitive. Verstiuk were very responsive and helpful during the initial discussions, added value during the discussions and were cost competitive. So we signed them up.

We had prepared a draft script with ideas for the visuals. Verstiuk reviewed the script and made some edits to improve it. We gave them our very basic brand guidelines, a 10 minute walkthrough of our product and they proceeded to the storyboard. For a few scenes they storyboarded alternatives in addition to our original ideas, and theirs were much better.

For the other scenes they took our idea and created great visuals. They really nailed our software. Two revisions of the storyboard and we were onto the illustrations.

Again, two minor revisions based on comments I wrote in frame.io and we proceeded to animation. I valued that I could write general comments and they then implemented them, in addition to the specific comments. By the time we were at animations there were no revisions.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Dmytro was our project manager. His communication in written English was great - friendly, comprehensive and clear. Nothing was a problem and he always gave me alternative solutions to any issues.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Not yet. The video is only just finished.

Communication was via email and comments in frame.io. It was always clear and comprehensive. If any of our comments were unclear, they came back and asked for clarification. Estimations on timing for the next step were always given and kept (or exceeded)

I'm the business development manager for a health tech company. We provide a cardiovascular disease prevention program based on the latest in genomics & precision medicine to employee populations.

Our program is really innovative on the market and we need to develop engaging, informative content to explain how the program works and promote it. We hired Verstiuk Production to produce a custom video for us which we can use with prospective clients to show how the program works and highlight its main benefits.

We started with a discovery call and moved forward every step of the way. They drafted the script and sent it for review. They sent us requests for approval and feedback along every step (storyboard, illustration, voiceover). Once they had confirmation from us, they moved forward to the next step up through final production.

I worked with Ira, Account Manager, and Vadym, project manager. Once a stage of the process was completed, Vadym contacted me via email to ask for feedback. His response was always timely and effectively addressed my questions and comments.

It is a bit early to describe outcomes, but the video produced by Verstiuk has certainly enriched our webpage for the program it promotes and provided us with high quality, educational content we can use to promote the program.

Vadym communicated with me via email, as per my request, and always replied in timely, thorough manner. He used Boords to share storyboard and illustration production and receive feedback.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were were very thorough and professional from start to finish. They listened to all feedback and made changes straight away. Their follow up communication was effective and never bothersome.The video was beautiful and creative and met all our objectives.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only possible thing that comes to mind is the price, but I think the quality they produce is aligned with the slightly high price point.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of an organization that produces x-ray products. We’re going by a different brand and are going in a new direction. 

We’re also developing a new, complex product which hospitals can use to store and transport emergency medication, supplies, and equipment. The creation of this product was necessitated by numerous problems around the management of hospital crash carts and emergency events — problems that are underappreciated but span multiple departments in a healthcare institution.

What challenge were you trying to address with Verstiuk Production?

Even though our company has been around for a very long time, our latest brand and product are very brand new. No one else out there has streamlined the whole emergency care process in a way that is beneficial to hospitals like we have, so the challenge that we were facing was trying to sell a product that nobody has ever heard of.

We reached out to Verstiuk to develop an animated explainer video that could show the value of our product and the problems that it solves without the need for a demonstration.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The proposal was actually the first deliverable that we required from Verstiuk. They created a structured process from the proposal all the way down to the delivery stage. We proceeded to carry out that process and began by filling out a questionnaire to give them information about what we do and what we were trying to accomplish. From that questionnaire, Verstiuk drafted a storyboard, script, and illustrations.

The team broke down the project into multiple stages to help facilitate the brainstorming process and the delivery. At each stage, we had the opportunity to make revisions.

They have an account manager on the sales side who was involved in the pre-proposal process. We were then passed to their internal project manager who led the actual development of the animated video

One of Verstiuk’s account managers reached out to me through LinkedIn. Seeing their proposal and drafts gave us confidence that they understood what we were doing and were be a low-risk vendor to go with, so we entered into a contract. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together between July–August 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It's too early to completely understand the impact of their work since it was just completed last week. However, I will say that it already helps us tell our story way better. Employees and potential customers whom we’ve shown the video to have given really good feedback about it. 

How did Verstiuk Production perform from a project management standpoint?

All of our communication was done through email and I never had to wait for anything. The team is based in a different country, but they always got back to me the following day. They were responsive to my suggestions and we're not only quick to make adjustments but we're also effective in interpreting what I was asking for.

The Verstiuk team worked really fast. Every single stage of the project was completed earlier than expected. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They did a great job of underpromising and over-delivering.

No, they exceeded my expectations and I was really happy with the decision to go with them.
