Unico delivered great results on time. The project’s outcome was exactly what our team envisioned. It’s exactly what we needed. Unico provided a simple and modern UI. If someone searches for a product in our portal, they can easily find its details. I had a great experience working with them.
How did Unico Connect perform from a project management standpoint?
Unico met all of the project’s deadlines. Two of Unico’s team members worked in our office, so we constantly interacted with them. We also connected with their team through Zoom. It was easy to monitor their progress.
What did you find most impressive about them?
If we had any queries, Unico promptly replied and resolved them. Although we had many privacy conditions and restrictions, their team was still able to deliver the product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It wasn’t a problem but if more people from Unico’s team were involved in the project, we could’ve completed it earlier.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
Our company is manufacturing packaging products for different industry sectors depending on their requirement. We are a family run business and I am the owner and director of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Unico Connect, and what were your goals?
We wanted to build a customized lead management system as we have a lot of customized products with over 500 SKUs going to different industries. Its hard to maintain log and track of every lead we get as we cater to small quantities of 100-200kgs to big container load as well.
We hired Unico to understand our sales process and build a system which will reduce work load of our staff and they can manage their leads in an organized fashion.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have now a flow for our leads and my staff is better organized in handling them resulting in more sales. The backend software is loaded on our local server so that security and data of our leads is maintained as well.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Communication was mainly through emails and telephonic/web calls . We had monthly/bimonthly face to face meetings as well with my team to discuss out our initial requirement .
I was updated on the whole project from time to time and they delivered one month later than what was expected but our requirement was also customized accordingly.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The software team understood our problems and issues quite well and delivered a unique CRM system for us. I think the software and management team worked on timelines , accommodated changes as we demanded and made working with them quite comfortable.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Apart from one major delay in middle of the project which was due to their unavailability of resources which was resolved soon enough, rest of the project went quite smoothly.
