We are building a platform that shows brands how they appear in AI search. Basically like SEO but for ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar tools. It’s a very new space, and we needed a technical team who could take our vision and turn it into something real, fast, but without rushing, making bad decisions, and spending millions. Key deliverables: UX wireframes and interactive prototypes that we used to validate ideas Prompt Generation Engine, which is the main module that creates realistic user queries based on brand data, website content, and industry context Prompt Chain Builder, a system that builds multi-turn conversations instead of just single questions (like current solutions on the market), with French language support Integration with Gemini API, with architecture ready to plug in more AI models later Response Collector and Analysis module to save conversations, record results, and measure brand visibility metrics Authentication and workspace setup for the PoC

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest result is that we now have a working system. We can put in brand data, generate prompts, run real conversations with Gemini, and actually see how the brand shows up in AI responses. We’ve started running beta tests with potential customers, and as someone with a marketing background, I’ve been running my own tests too and the quality of prompts the system produces is really impressive. Going from just an idea to something we can demo to investors and early users in about 7 weeks is a big deal for us.

Project management was very good. Their PM kept things organised and on track, and communication was always clear. During the project, there were some changes in the scope, prioritizing and moving some features like second language support and citation tracking. Since we work on a time and materials basis in an agile way, it was easy to include these as additional work without disrupting the plan for the core deliverables. I also want to mention something that really showed their commitment as their founders and lead engineering manager, despite the war in Ukraine and all the difficulties with travel, they took the time to come meet me in person in Paris, France. That kind of effort says a lot about how they treat the relationship. Day to day, they used an iterative approach, checking in regularly, which made the whole process feel very collaborative.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was how they handled the fact that this is a completely new space. AI search optimisation doesn’t really have a playbook yet. But instead of just waiting for us to tell them exactly what to build, their team went and researched the domain, looked at competitors, and came back with their own ideas. Their PM and solution architect would bring up things we hadn’t thought through, like how to manage conversation depth without spending too much on API calls, or how to structure the prompt chains properly. It didn’t feel like working with a vendor. It felt more like having a product team. And I’m not saying this to sell anything because the quality of what they built speaks for itself.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Uinno could have done differently?

No significant areas for improvement. The PoC and MVP phase met and exceeded our expectations in terms of scope, quality, and delivery. We continue working together as the product is growing.

We had been working with another development team on our mobile applications, but we weren’t satisfied with the quality of their work, so we have been seeking a new long-term development partner. The app's authorization flow was outdated and needed a complete rework. We needed a team that could step in quickly, understand the existing native codebase, and deliver without a long ramp-up.

Key deliverables:

• Redeveloped login and authorization flow for the iOS and Android apps (Swift and Kotlin)
• Bug fixes and testing were included as part of each deliverable cycle

SOLUTION Uinno assigned 2 dedicated mobile developers who worked on a time-and-materials basis. They got up to speed with our existing Swift and Kotlin codebases quickly and started with the most critical piece, the authorization module. Each task was estimated with testing and bug fixing already included, so there were no surprises when it came to delivery quality.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The authorization flow on both iOS and Android was completely rebuilt and works reliably now. Our users no longer experience the login issues we had before, and the new implementation follows current security practices. More importantly, we proved to ourselves that we can work with Uinno on a T&M basis efficiently, even a small engagement like this was handled professionally, with clear estimates and deliverables that matched what was promised.

Communication was smooth throughout. We had a dedicated account manager on top of the developer, which helped keep things organized even though the project was relatively small. They were responsive over Google Chat and email, and each deliverable came with a clear estimate that included testing time. When we flagged issues, they were resolved within the agreed terms.

What stood out was how quickly their developers adapted to our existing codebase. We didn’t have perfect documentation, the apps were old, and we’d had a bad experience with the previous team, so we were cautious. But Uinno’s developers didn’t need hand-holding. They reviewed the code, asked the right questions, and started delivering. That kind of self-sufficiency matters a lot.

UCU uses two separate legacy systems so we needed to move away from them due to strategic risks and operational limitations like lack of bidirectional integrations, scattered data sources across departments, no single source of truth, and heavy reliance on manual processes.

Uinno assembled a team of a Business Analyst, Systems Architect, and Project Manager who conducted in-depth interviews with our finance, HR, and administrative teams. They mapped all existing management accounting processes in BPMN notation, identified integration gaps and data inconsistencies across our systems, and produced a set of deliverables that gave us a clear, evidence-based path forward. Their ERP market analysis was particularly valuable since it went beyond generic comparisons to include UCU-specific factors like non-profit licensing discounts, grant accounting requirements, and multi-department approval workflows for 120+ units.

Uinno’s scope covered the full Discovery Phase for our management accounting system:

• Business process modeling diagrams (BPMN notation) covering all management accounting workflows, responsibility zones, process steps, branching conditions, integration points, and statuses.

We wanted to make retirement planning easier for our users and facilitate our long onboarding process. The main problem was that sometimes we didn't have enough advisors available in certain areas or times. People had to wait, and we were losing potential customers. We hired Uinno to build an AI advisor that could help users get started right away without waiting for a human advisor. The AI needed to use the same approaches that made our existing customers successful.

The MVP took about three months to build. The feedback from users has been really positive,  and our human advisors checked the AI's calculations - they said it's doing a good job.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The MVP launched in three months like we planned. User engagement went up - people are spending about 30% more time on the platform. Our advisors are also saving around 2-3 hours per week because the AI does the preliminary work. We aim to make it 10 hours per week with further development.

We're still in development, but the early numbers look promising. About 65% of users who try the AI advisor end up booking a session with a human advisor afterward, which is what we wanted.

Uinno did a great job with the Figma designs and flow. They were willing to work with me, mostly at the same time as I am in Miami and they are in Ukraine and throughout Europe. It was early for me and late for them but we enjoyed working together. They schedule weekly meetings and are willing to go the extra mile if it makes your project better. 

The staff was patient and kind during our time working together. I enjoyed it so much that I will be working with them again. The prototype came out great and I am very happy. I created some videos for my prototype right after they finished to put the cherry on top. Oleksii, Daria, Vadim, Andrey, Margo, Sergii are all kind humans and hard workers too. I have a brother in law who is Ukranian so it was also nice to work with humans who have the same roots as him. I feel very bad what has happened to their country and stand by them. My mother bought a Ukranian flag and shirt for me early on in the process.

On Figma Daria was very patient and helpful with the designs and made the flows as simple as possible while also following software fundamentals. It is important for me because I have a patent pending idea and am also looking to sell my idea to a company. Working at the same time speeds the process up and also communicating with Uinno what you would like to do is important. The software team cannot read your mind so it is important to sketch ideas out for them demonstrating what you are trying to convey. From there they do a delightful job explaining if it is possible and putting into onto the wireframes. 

I have learned a lot form the staff and I am looking to get more experience with figma over time, but I believe it was be valuable to have a designer and technical expert look over my work to see if it is as efficient as possible. Also to stand out things have to be simple and creative, Uinno was awesome at keeping things simple for the client and for the user.

We used a communication platform so I can send messages to employees with questions or concerns. Uinno gets back to you very quickly and is not pushy.

We needed full delivery and service with the implementation of modern quality management system localized to Ukraine.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Uinno developed a fully working quality management system according to our specifications. The system included all specified functionalities and about 20 quite complex UI views. The UI views were about managing the yearly quality plan, writing down the observations from audits, and managing management meetings, tasks, and memos.

Uinno is now hosting the whole system, and the project continues in maintenance mode.

What is the team composition?

We were directly in contact with four teammates from Uinno.

How did you come to work with Uinno?

We found Uinno through a referral from our Ukrainian contact and an online search. We sent an RFQ to some possible candidates, and Uinno’s communication was easy and superior from the beginning. Additionally, their final offer was the winning one.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2024, and the implementation project ended in June 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The system is ready and working, and users have been welcoming and glad about the new system. The only metrics we have right now are the positive feedback from users. Some user groups participated in the initial specification phase and had a say in the UX design. They say that the new system is way better than the old one.

How did Uinno perform from a project management standpoint?

The original schedule went a little over the planned time, but it was a coordinated effort. Uinno handled the delay well. We always had an architect coordinating the latest finalizing issues from Jira. Communication was super excellent from the beginning. The last months could have had more status meetings, but we managed to keep things in order with Jira and Slack.

I'm an executive at Pedlar, an e-commerce technology platform that allows content creators to build their digital storefronts quickly and sell and endorse brands and products they love and use.

What challenge were you trying to address with Uinno?

We needed a platform developed. It wasn’t the most complex platform, but we needed end-to-end development that consisted of both front- and backend.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially had an introductory call with them. We told them about what we were looking to build. We then had a discovery call, walking through the journeys of our platform and how someone would engage with it. They came back with a verbal solution. 

So far, Uinno has built an all-in-one business tool for independent and content creators. It's a way for those creators to engage with brands and get more business while managing their online presence. 

Uinno has also covered everything from design to coding the platform for us. The key technologies are Google Cloud and Firebase on the backend. The frontend is a custom React app. The team helps us maintain the code and supports us while the product is live.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with about six teammates from Uinno, including Vadim and Alexey. We also interface with a project manager, frontend developers, and some backend developers. Our main point of contact has changed throughout the process, but we’ve always been in contact with a project manager. During heavy design sprints, we talk closely with the designer. For development sprints, we talk closely with the development lead. 

How did you come to work with Uinno?

When we were looking to engage with a development house, I used Clutch to look up businesses. Uinno wasn’t one of them, but we got a recommendation from someone who had worked with them in the past. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in June 2024, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve launched the product and are incredibly impressed and happy with the quality of their work. Our CTO has been impressed with the output. From a coding and product build perspective, we’ve been happy with the designs and turnaround times. 

In any development process, there will be bugs. Uinno has a strict process using tools like Jira for us to document those bugs. They have a team that looks into those bugs, and they turn them around within 24 hours. Simply put, they have a good process of identifying and fixing bugs. 

How did Uinno perform from a project management standpoint?

They've mostly been good with deadlines and meeting expectations. They're good at letting us know about the delays when deadlines are stretched out. We were always led with the right expectations.

We primarily use Jira for project management. We've also used Notion and Google Sheets because they like to fit into our workflow. They've always been very accommodating. We typically communicate via Slack, with dedicated channels to communicate with the team daily. Once a week, we have a call via Google Meet.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Vadim and Alexey have both been phenomenal. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their technical expertise, dedication, and work ethic have been impressive. We have an aggressive release schedule, and Uinno has been with us all hours of the day and weekend trying to complete the project.  

We've used development agencies in the past and had terrible experiences. In contrast, Uinno not only does what we say, but they also come to us with solutions and ideas. They challenge us on certain things and lead us.

Uinno has been helping us with custom software development for our product. We had a foundation for what we were building, but it was nowhere near what it is now after Uinno’s help. We’re still working with them, and I’m looking to expand our contract with them. Initially, I overshared with them, telling them about our business model and our long-term goals because I wanted them to work independently and not have them ask me specific questions.

Currently, we have a team working on the frontend and backend. I’m looking to expand into the machine learning and AI space. For the backend, we’re using OpenAI and Xano. For the frontend, we’re using TypeScript, Vercel, and React.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with five people from Uinno, including Vladimir, who works as our account manager. Dmytro works with us as our technical lead, and we have three other teammates. The technical lead handles the more complex issues. One of the other teammates, Sergey, does a lot of the legwork and is very active.

How did you come to work with Uinno?

I did a Google search and found them on Clutch. For this project, I was considering five different companies. Uinno offered a contract based on time and materials, which was something that some of the other organizations offered, but they weren’t as keen on it. I wanted a long-term contract, and Uinno made that possible.

Additionally, they had worked in the hiring industry, so it all worked together. As we progressed and discussed more with Uinno, I realized that they had everything I was looking for at a very competitive price.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $14,350 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2024, and the engagement is ongoing. As mentioned, we're probably expanding our contract with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t been able to go to market yet, so we don’t have any active or paying users. However, we’ve received feedback, and people like our product. It’s a very simple app, and if there are any changes, I can go to Uinno, and they’ll do it on the fly.

How did Uinno perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, Uinno has delivered on time and on budget. They use GitHub projects, but I don’t like the idea of that because my team uses Notion. I’m trying to make that possible for us to use Notion with them. We primarily use Slack for communication.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Sergey is very dedicated. He’s always quick to respond and knows what needs to be done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

From the start, Uinno was quick to understand the challenges we were facing and what we were trying to achieve. Moreover, I’m impressed with their flexibility. Even if I’m not able to give them work at a particular time, they’re still happy to stay on board with us and help us where they can. The moment I give them something to work on, they start working on it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Project management is one area that could be improved. They do offer project management services, but in my instance, I’m not always able to dedicate enough time as I should for this project, so sometimes we do hit a plateau in terms of progress.

Additionally, I wish they had a portal so I could understand how many hours have been worked and keep track of things in real-time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you have a project management board that they have access to. Ensure that all of your work can be shared with them, including your product roadmap, features, user stories, and specific requests. I recommend ensuring transparent communication between them and you so that everyone stays on the same pathway.
