Udyam Registration

Udyam Registration is a flagship initiative designed to provide Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India with a seamless, paperless, and efficient way to obtain official government recognition. Launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under the Government of India, the system aims to simplify the registration process and encourage more entrepreneurs to formalize their businesses. It replaces the earlier Udyog Aadhaar framework with a more integrated and transparent digital platform.

The registration process is straightforward and accessible to all types of enterprises, including proprietorships, partnerships, and companies. Applicants need to provide essential details such as Aadhaar number, PAN, business activity, investment, and turnover information. Based on these inputs, enterprises are classified as micro, small, or medium. Upon successful verification, a unique Udyam Registration Number and a digital certificate are issued, serving as official proof of MSME status and enabling access to a wide range of benefits.
